Todo estuvo moderadamente bien, salvo por lo ruidoso que es todo el tiempo, incluso durante la noche. Las paredes de las habitaciones permiten escuchar lo que se habla o se hace en las habitaciones vecinas, incluyendo la que está arriba. "Nice Hotel, disgraceful staff"
10/15/14 Jake D
Worst place ive ever stayed at and im a regular holiday goer, hotel was nucecapart from the bedrooms, me, my girlfriend and her four year old daughter had a family room and you could barely move, the child got pen on the sheets and the same sheet was on her bed all holiday, staff were pathetic, couldnt speak basic english and even though as an all inclusive customer, we were made to wait before people who paid less money to stay there self catering. Dinner times and tea times we got told to sit out the way. Was no entertainment for english people, was spanish dancing every single afternoon, will never recommend this hotel and i have told all my friends how bad it was, there was also a fire in the hotel, even though there was smoke streaming through the building, there was not one member staff available telling people where to go, discraceful!!
"Never again !"

We had the blue wrist band of shame on, or that's the way we were made to feel. The all inclusive bar was always non attended so the cash payers at their bar was served first with happy smiling bar tenders. When they came to serve us lepers there was not a single smile, when we said "gracias" the bar tender would just walk away. This attitude was repeated through the hotel by the entire hotel staff. I tried as much as I could to make them smile but not a smirk. During our stay a piece of bar equipment caught fire and sent smoke through the hotel setting off the alarms. The staff were no where to be seen and hotel patrons walked in and out of the hotel with no direction at all. My family will never return to this hotel again

Our family of five including a four year old were treated like lepers in this hotel, we went all inclusive, and had to sit away from other holiday makers in the restaurant, the reception staff were very ignorant when asked simple enquiries. The entertainment catered for non British customers, there was no entertainment for the four year old that was with us. On entering the bar area, all inclusive members had to wait at this very small bar area and was served only when cash payers at the main bar had been served first. The room was scruffy and didn't look like it had been cleaned previously to our arrival. The fire alarm went off, and no one came to advise us or update us on what was happening, no fire engine came although clearly there was smoke coming up the stairs.obviously we won't be back and we will.definitely not reccomend this hotel to any of our family or friends.
"The worst nightmare!"

ZERO STARS! I really cannot see how this ''hotel'' (more like a student dorm) has some stars! Horrible reception staff - with almost 0 english, rude and ignorant, lying and arrogant! Awful food - no fruit on breakfast and every desert with a taste of washing powder - every day different colour, same disgusting taste! Everything tasteless and not fresh. Poor breakfast, no fruit, old muesli, yoghurt in a bowl, cheap juice! The rooms were very disappointing, dirty, messy and definitely not holiday type. Would not stay there even for free! You can hear people talking in the next room so imagine when then are drunk and shout and vomit! DISGUSTING! when we wanted to change the room we were told that there is a waiting list!!!! That says everything! many of drunk and sick teenagers screaming, shouting and playing loud music in corridors! HORRID FROM A to Z!
"Great location and a good basic budget hotel"
09/05/14 ned01234 Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
Overall a good, clean hotel in a handy location for shops, bars, access to Lloret and Fenals Beach. Rooms cleaned every day with new towels. The room was small in size, in good condition and quite recently decorated but has the smallest wardrobe I have ever seen in a family room. The bathroom was large and very clean. Air conditioning is free but only works when the balcony doors are closed. Our room was at the back of the hotel over-looking a tired tennis court and table tennis area. It wasn't particularly noisy although we tend to stay out until about 1am. The balconies in bloc blanc are staggered and have no divide between them so you can easily walk into rooms across the balconies. We didn't leave any valuables in our room at all as we felt it was unsafe. We didn't suffer a break in but it seemed that one of the rooms below us did during our stay. We were half board; there was lots of food and some freshly cooked while you watch however it lacked variety so became monotonous very quickly. Water is really expensive in the dining hall at 1.5 euros for a 1 litre bottle. The deserts section was quite limited in choice and variety. Breakfast is disappointing with no fresh fruit ( lots of breads though) and the worst margarine and bacon I have ever tasted. My daughter wouldn't eat any breakfast so we ended up saving fruit from the evening meal for her although we skipped breakfast for 4 days out of 8 as it wasn't worth getting up for. The hotel is very busy with lots of groups/ coach loads and doesn't particularly cope well with booking them in - chaos in reception for much of the time. The hotel caters for a wide range of nationalities, there were lots of Spanish. Dutch and German during our stay, definitely not a mini England which is fine for us. The mini club ran each day from about 10 - we didn't use it but there are some games and activities provided. There is evening entertainment (mainly a disco/music) which is popular with the Spanish and Germans - not to our taste but there were lots of bars and restaurants outside for us to visit. The hotel isn't badly priced for drinks 2.50 Euros for a large beer and 2.20 for fresh orange juice ( which you watch them make much to my daughter's enjoyment ). Overall the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. There are 2 outdoor pools - the main one with music and a bar loses sun quite early - and hardly has any sun beds. The one at the back of the hotel has a children's pool and deeper pool, a few more sun beds ( still not enough), a closed bar - in August - although you could bring your own cans. It also has the sun for longer. Lastly there is an unmarked toilet with a shower through a grey door- handy if you have a late flight as no rooms provided. You also pay a daily tax rate in this part of Spain. This is collected at reception on checking in. I have never been asked for this before and have been to the Malaga area several times in the last 2 years. Lloret as a resort in the evening was great for families ( late August). There were lots of groups of teenagers / young people but also many areas for families and couples too. In the day we preferred Fenals beach as it is slightly calmer and less steep than Lloret. There are some strong currents at the Castle end of Lloret beach which aren't very safe for young children. The walk to Fennels is about 15 minutes up the hill past Hotel Samba - look out for the steps at the end of Samba - this will take you straight down to Fenals beach. The bus station is just 5 minutes from the hotel so easy to arrange a day in Barcelona or another resort. The boats that go from resort to resort have gone up a bit in price since our last visit 10 years ago. 20 euros each to go to Tossa de Mar for the day. Overall Don Juan offered a good base for our stay at a reasonable price. I am only giving it 3 due to the limited food choices. It is possibly my least favourite Spanish hotel for food - we are not fussy eaters but there was just so little effort to change the variety or range of what was on offer. It takes about 1 hour 20 mins by bus from Barcelona airport - if we go back to this area we would try Girona which is closer. We would highly recommend Cafe Tyrol - just opposite the hotel. Lovely salads, Sangria and snacks (when you need a change from hotel food). They are open until 2am (closed on Mondays) and happily make cheese toasties at 1.30am. The best thing about my stay was...Location of the hotel and the sun!
"Just ordinary hotel with unpleasant reception"
09/02/14 Krunoslav S Slavonski Brod, Brodsko-Posavska, Croatia
I was there on a business trip, and my first impression was that despite lots of noise in hotel itself and around, the location, good food and friendly staff my stay will be great.. In the end the receptionist was so rude, and made me regret staying there. They wouldn't let me take my souvenir (few bottles of beer - wrapped) in my room, and wouldn't even talk to me to explain whats wrong. I had to stay in hotel lobby like a criminal, and on the other hand the literally hundreds of drunk teenagers passed them without them even checking them for alcohol. The rudeness of that one particular receptionist was something I've never experienced in any hotel.

Just back from a week at Gran Hotel Don Juan with my daughter. We did not have a good first impression as it was around 1am when we arrived and the night porter bless him was having a big row with a young girl trying to sneak in. It was swarming with young people but this was the worst it got so perhaps we were just unlucky. We made our way up to the room and it was so small and just next to fire escape so felt a bit vulnerable. The balcony looked on to another block. Went straight downstairs and was told stay in it tonight and see the Manager tomorrow. We did not unpack: next morning went to see the Manager and he immediately sorted another room for us to look at. Got the impression that if that did not suit we could have asked to see another one. He spoke fluent English (as did all reception staff I met) and was very helpful. Went in to breakfast and it was fine - the service and staff when feeding 500 -plus people was what I would have expected. I had just come back from Ocas Pelicanos Benidorm (early July)and the meals did not compare to there but we had paid double the price there! Of course as this was low cost there were loads of young folks there - Dutch, German, Spanish and Italian - but its August!! I was amazed when booking that we could get anywhere remotely decent at a relatively low cost in August. All meals had multi-choice menu and if people cannot find something they like from the 6 or 7 fish/meat choices (including cooked to order) with salad and veg options every night...words fail me. We used the hotel as a base to visit the beach, bars and sights and did not use the pool or the bar so I cannot comment. The room was absolutely fine, cleaned every day and the bathroom was big and modern. A/C on demand and free.Clean towels every day when needed. We had no disturbance from guests or people outside - bearing in mind that it is a stone throw from the main nightlife. I stayed here at Don Juan around 20 odd years ago and it has changed but what hasn't? The resort has changed as well - very few English but after reading the negative reviews and hearing some on the resorthoppa bus back to the airport- prob for the best! Come on, you get what you pay for (same as Ryanair!) so get your hand deeper in your pocket for a 5 star holiday choice.

i was in don juan in aug ('14), and for what we paid it was a rly nice hotel for young ppl. it's perfect for a party holiday, maybe not for a relax or family vacation. it as 5 pools and plenty of room, room service is good, and it's really close to the seaside.
"Nice Hotel near to the discos"
08/19/14 Oriana Jasmin C
The room was clean, unfortunately our view from the balcony was bad. Bathroom was also clean. The room wasn't perfect but for a party holiday good. People in the reception not very nice... Food was ok. The hotel is big, u can find there anything u need. In the lobby u can buy cigarettes at a machine at any time. The hotel is nearby the discos. 3-5min to Tropics. 1-2 min to Revolution and Alcatraz. To the beach it's something like 10min depends how fast u r walking. A lot of shops nearby. Wifi is not free. Not sure but i think one day was 5€ 3 days 10€ and a week 20€. It's working in the whole hotel. Don't buy all inclusive. It's useless, u will for sure drink at bars or just buy sth im the market. It's a good hotel for young people but also not bad for old people with families, there 2 swimming pools outside. In the evening has been sth kinda animations. Alcohol in the hotel is not good... Only wine is not bad. Nice staff at the bars. It's a really good hotel for the price and what's also good there are no problems if friends from other hotels are visiting u or u enter the hotel with lot's of alcohol from the market even if u r not 18. I had a nice holiday there :)
