Room Air-conditioning is only available for very few hours a day, making it difficult to sleep at night and impossible to stay in the room at daytime. Can't understand why we have to pay 2 Euros a day to be able to use the safe which is already in the room. You have to pay a deposit to get the remote control to watch TV, and if you accidently press […] the green bottom in the remote you'll be charged for a 24h PPV. Location is in between Paceville (nightlife) and Valletta (Bus terminus) where you could catch all public buses for sightseeing. Nothing interesting within a walking distance except for Fort Manoel which was closed at the time. Yet lots of boat cruises depart from a short walking distance from the hotel. Dont expect a great hotel for a bargain price here. I think a motel 8 is probably better. The room was clean but thats not saying much. Its in desperate need of remodeling. Staff polite, warm, go out of way for you. Rooms could definiteyl do better. Qutie nnoisy, smeely bathroom, out of date furtniture. But it definitely does the job. Just similar price at beter hotel can be found elsewhere along the strand street in Gzira.

A very conveniently and centrally located hotel with facilities in line with what one would typically expect of a 3-star hotel. Our room backs onto the balconies of other apartments/rooms, so can be noisy unfortunately.... ! That said, we read reviews about this and were fully prepared for possible noises which thankfully didn't turn out as bad; as […] we didn't stay there during peak seasons. The self-catering facilities in our room, despite being somewhat basic, proved sufficient for our needs, as we could get stuff from supermarkets nearby and make salads and simple meals for the evening. Talking of supermarkets, the Tower is great which is only about 10-15 minutes away, up the hill after passing M&S, which the locals should be able to direct you to should you get lost. Try not to get stuff from corner shops if possible, as they are over-priced and are much dearer than the Tower Supermarket (Bottled water being a good example amongst many other basic items!). Unfortunately, you have no choice on a Sunday ! On a couple of occasions, we ate at the Hotel Restaurant, which was bumper value for money i.e. € 8.50 per person for a 3-course meal ! Not sure if the air conditioning works properly, as we tried it and concurred with the views as expressed by others who left a review on the website. Having said that, we didn't have to use it in the end, as the weather was pleasant and warm, but not hot and sticky as such, during the time of our visit in early April 2011. Read more

Super flot hotel. Værelset var rigtig lækkert og rent, med AC. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme, søde og smilende. Som alle andre steder var morgenmaden ikke noget at skrive hjem om, men det er jo heller ikke dén man tager på ferie for at opleve ;-) Dette er klart et hotel vi tager tilbage til!!

Vi var fire piger, der tog en smuttur til Malta meget spontant. Vi skulle have et billigt hotel og billige flybilletter, hvilket vi fik, og så var det afsted. Vi er i aldersgruppen 23-24 år, men hotellet […] boomer af unge mennesker, hvilket får det hele til at minde om, at alle er på studietur. Rigtig meget larm i weekenderne, lidt larm i hverdagene, hvor folk også går i byen. Alt i alt var hotellet fint til os, da vi så lidt bort fra alt larmen, men jeg vil bestemt ikke anbefale hotellet til ældre, da de vil falde fuldstændig udenfor kategori. 注意深く見ていないと、場所は少しわかりにくいのですが、 Cruisingに行くにせよ、最後の場所です。 翌日ゴゾ島、コミノ島へのCruisingに行きましたが、出港地が徒歩数分の場所なので、 初めての場所でも安心できました。 また、バーなども周りに多いです。 タクシーで空港までの送迎は（３人までで）２０ユーロでした。

J'avais réservé pour 3 nuits dans cet hôtel mais au vu des avis lus sur le site SNCF, j'étais un peu sceptique. Quand nous sommes rentrées dans la chambre, nous avons été très surprises de découvrir qu'il s'agissait d'une chambre équipée d'un coin cuisine et de tout le confort nécessaire. La chambre a été nettoyée tous les jours, les serviettes changées. Le […] buffet du petit déjeuner est parfait: il y en a pour tous les goûts: salé et sucré à volonté. La vue de la terrasse de l'hôtel, où se trouve la salle à manger, est très agréable. L'hôtel est bien situé, à deux pas d'un arrêt de bus et près de tous les lieux à visiter. L'accueil est très professionnel. Ils nous ont même aidé à nous organiser dans nos visites. On peut dîner le soir pour 8,50 euros, un repas complet. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y sommes finalement restées la semaine. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel!!! En plus, en novembre, nous avons payé 17 euros, la nuit pour 2 personnes, petit déjeuner compris: moins cher qu'un camping... Nous rentrons enchantées par Malte et cet hôtel et n'avons pas compris pourquoi il y avait des avis négatifs si ce n'est qu'il y des gens jamais contents, que rien ne pourra satisfaire... Negativt, Många hotellrum hade utsikt över en liten ca 10 m2 målad betong "bakgård" med hotellrum runt om den 9 våningar höga byggnaden. Städerskorna moppade golven bra och bytte handdukar varje dag men inte sänglakan och städade inte badkaret […] under mina 1,5vecka där... Lite omodernt men frächt. AC;n lät mycket. Lägenhetshotellet The Strand på Malta var ett billigt hotell med bra läge, trevlig personal och bra städerskor. Det var enkelt men väl utrustat. Sängarna var lite hårda, men som helhet var det ett mycket trivsamt och prisvärt hotell.

Nous étions 4 dans une chambre de 2 ; donc il y avait un lit pour deux, la troisième personne dormait sur la banquette placée derrière la porte et la quatrième personne dormait sur un lit d'appoint monstrueux. La chambre était petite et donnait sur une cour. Mais comme l'hôtel est très haut, la lumière ne passait pas, donc il faisait toujours nuit dans […] la chambre... ennuyeux pour un aparthôtel où on est censé cuisiner et manger ! C'était sale, tâches sur le sol, graisse sur la plaque de cuisson et morceau de nourriture sur le mur, traces de nourriture sur les placards... Mais ceci n'est rien comparé à l'état de la literie, crasse sur les matelas non protégé (le drap sur lequel on dormait est directement posé sur le matelas alors que dans les autres hôtel il y avait une protection en dessous du drap housse) les oreillers puaient le tabac et la crasse. Très grande promiscuité avec les voisins de la chambre d'en face, on pouvait les voir dans le salon et la salle de bain. L'hôtel avait une très grande majorité de jeunes qui faisaient la fête tous les soirs ; ils sortaient tous et rentraient à 2 heures du matin et donc faisaient énormément de bruits. Nous avons exigé de changer de chambre, mais il a fallu lutter ; la seconde chambre était bien mieux adaptée et le ménage avait été fait de fond en comble! c'était mieux. Nous avons réclamé notre cadeau de bienvenue à la fin du séjour (un soda dans un verre en plastique dans un magasin) on croyait avoir 12 ans !!! Read more
