This resort lived up to and surpassed all our expectations. From the rooms, the spa, the restaurant, the front desk- this place had it covered. They even offer cars to borrow- convertible mercedes, check...mercedes SUV, check. What else can I say, amazing. We will be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Gorgeous Cottage Getaway"
Most relaxed we've been in awhile. Definitely get the mudslide treatment at the spa. We will be back to take advantage of the loaner bicycles during the summer!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Although the resort is lovely, I stayed there for 7 nights and tried to make a reservation in the dining room each night I was there with no success. This was very inconvenient, as I had to find a restaurant off the property every night, which was difficult on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I think they should set aside some seats in the dining room […] for hotel guests!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We've visited Solage once or twice per year for the past few years and it's always fantastic. Whether it's a boozy, busy August weekend with friends or a quiet, bike riding get-a-way with family in December the setting and service at Solage provide the perfect hideaway or launching pad. Check-in is smooth, the staff friendly and they remember you. […] A bottle of wine came over as a thank you for our return visit. The grounds are well maintained and filled with mossy oak and lavender. The restaurant and bar are well respected and beautiful. The outdoor area is outstanding and in high demand on a warm evening or bright morning. Two well laid out pools exist. One for the adults seeking optimal sun with a quiet cocktail being served by smiling staff...and no splashing. And one for the kiddies, which is far enough away as to not disturb the other ;) Each guest has a cottage. Nicely, appointed with a modern look, large comfy bed, large well lit bathroom, deep soaking tub and stone walk-in shower. Some cottages have more space around them than others but we've never been bother by the neighboring guests. (Note: couples without children should request a cottage away from the separate children's pool) Each cottage is provided two bicycles which is kind if the icing in the cake for us. Biking into town for dinner, up the road to Vincent Arroyo, down the road past Sterling or anywhere else at the north end of the valley is almost too idyllic. There are maybe 5 resorts at this level in the whole of Napa Valley, one might have more tennis courts, one might have a better view, one might be closer to SFO but none has put it all together as well as Solage has managed to do it. Extremely nice people - top to bottom, great restaurant at SolBar, complimentary bikes were nice touch, beautiful bungalow style rooms. We'll be back!Genuine Expedia guest review
good location, escapes the bustle of napa yet keeps it very accessible. clean, spacious rooms, a little too sterile. grounds a little too spartan. exceptional facilities...free bikes, wifi, spa, exercise area. spa and housekeeping staff very good, reception and restaurant staff appear disinterested. breakfast overpriced and pedestrian .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Comfort in Style"
We spent a great time at the Solage over the weekend in Napa. It is a well laid out resort, where the rooms have a lot of privacy and are spacious. The restaurant food was fantastic and they offer a very wide range of services and activities, including bicycles and convertible cars that are available for use. The restaurant has great food and gets pretty […] busy in the evenings and you can also have drinks by the pool in the garden area. We would come back if visiting Napa again. "Pure luxury and pampering"
Extremely relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some down time with my sister. The property is beautiful, the spa is fantastic, the pool is well-kept and the pool bar service is good. We wanted sun, relaxation, pampering and sister time and Solage delivered on all. Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes casual luxury.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was my first time staying at the Solage and I loved it. I brought a 8 and 11 year old and was a little worried about how they would fit into what looked like borderline kid friendly place. Great room, service, grounds, location. Will definitely be back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Piece of Paradise."
From the moment we arrived, my guests and I were pampered. The staff, facility and location were perfect. The Solage is incredibly relaxing after touring wine country. Hats off to the staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Our 25th Anniversary"
Our cottage was elegant, immaculate, well stocked with toiletries. The King bed was very comfortable, the fireplace and large flat screen TV added options for ambience. We loved being able to open the large sliding glass doors that went out onto our private outdoor patio area. The Mercedes Benz E-class they let us use, was a fun option at no extra cost. […] We took it 2 days in a row for 4 hours each day and enjoyed driving that instead of our boring rental car. The staff was so courteous, helpful. The ladies who gave us our couples massage were professional and were quite skilled at their craft. We also enjoyed riding our cruiser bikes into Calistoga, parking them and having breakfast in town. Would love to come here every year for our anniversary! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

There's no beach and there's no mountains, and I still love it there more than almost anyplace else. That's how good the people, food and atmosphere are.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Resort/Spa in Calistoga"
Till now, I have only stayed at Auberge du Soleil and Calistoga Ranch in the Napa area. Those two resorts were, needless to say, in a class of their own and leave nothing to be desired. On this trip, I had my one of my adult children travelling with me, which would have made staying at those two resorts prohibitively expensive because it would have […] required two suites at the two resorts. So I started searching around, found Solage in Calistoga, and decided to give it a shot. At Solage, I was able to accomodate three adults on two queen beds in one suite. I am so glad I did. Solage had everything I needed: a convenient location, nicely appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, a nice terrace, great pool(s) and hot tub(s), gym, and other amenities. The restaurant serves very good food. Service at the resort was very attentive. I will definitely return on my next trip to Napa. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We very much enjoyed our stay. The resort is very attractive and comfortable. Minor problems: the web site seems to imply that every room has a DVD player, which is not the case; and the business office sent a fax for us, which never went through, but we were never informed that it had not. We would recommend Solage wholeheartedly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great stay for a couple"
Wonderful for a couple of nights or a full week. Fantastic place to stay in Napa Valley.Genuine Expedia guest review
"All-around perfection in Calistoga"
Everything about Solage is perfect - the location, the outstanding restaurant, the exceptional service, the spa, the size of the room and the comfortable bed. It is close to downtown Calistoga and close to some of the best wineries on the Silverado Trail. Perfection!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Solage-- a great place stay when in Napa Valley"
This place is excellent. I wish I could have stayed longer, but while we were there we were treated like royalty. The rooms are all these mini bungalows that have amazing views of the hills surrounding the Valley. We left campus to dine at Auberge Du Soleil, which was just ok, and I'm disappointed we didn't eat at the reataurant at Solage as the next […] day my breakfast was amazing, and I never say that about breakfast. We didn't get massages or anything, but we did enjoy the thermal pools, the hot tub and the steam rooms so upon leaving I was relaxed and rested. I will stay there again. Sadly we only had one night at the Solage, but we loved it. Great room, warm and attentive service and a killer restaurant. We didn't have time or the correct weather to enjoy the pool, but it was large and inviting. Property had a great gym and the spa menu was pretty enticing too. Looking forward to getting back when I have more time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I don't review hotels very often but wow, this one blew me away. We had a wonderful stay and the staff really made a huge effort to make sure our stay was fantastic. On Sunday when we checked out they encouraged us to stay and enjoy the pool which is so rare. This is a gem in Napa Valley. "The best resort hotel in Napa Valley"
Solage Calistoga has been one of the best resort hotels in Napa Valley. Its unique setting fits Napa Valley environment very well. The service is first class. If you want a true Napa Valley experience, Solage Calistoga will certainly add more pleasure to it.Genuine Expedia guest review

Attentive staff and courteous staff, comfortable and large hotel room and bathroom, nice amenities such as bicycles, water with mint, and recyclable bag, great restaurant, nice gym and spa facilities.Genuine Expedia guest review
Incredible property and facilities, particularly the picture-perfect pool set in classic wine country landscape. "Supremely relaxing, quietly elegant"
We totally enjoyed our stay at Solage, Calistoga. It was a little more expensive than we'd initially planned to spend on our getaway, but totally worth it. Although the resort was nearly full, we never felt like there were too many people about, we enjoyed quiet tranquility. The fact that each guest has a bike to use whilst staying at the resort means […] that without even trying - there is a little exercise going on. Total fun! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Solage Callistoga CA"
Very nice hotel.... unusual configuration of the rooms. They're basically bungalows which provide a fair amount of privacy. Two bicycles for each bungalow was a nice touch even though we didn't have time to use them. The grounds and Spa looked amazing and the service was very good. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was quite good as well. It was […] expensive, but it was very nice and we had a great time during our very short stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
While Solage is a bit pricey, the level of service and services make it feel almost reasonable. The bungalows and location are great as well as the food at SolBar but what stood out were the super nice and helpful staff that went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Thanks.Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful and central location to the town and wineries. Each room comes with two bike and it is easy to bike to town and many wineries. Resort is very well maintained and the staff is very helpful. Rooms are very clean.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect Calistoga Resort"
Solage Calistoga is a truly spectacular property with every amenity you would think of for a luxury property. Great spa, pool, workout facilities, bocce courts and of course scenery. I would highly recommend staying here for weekend getaways, spa trips, Napa Valley wine tasting, etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is a slight bit out of the way from the core wineries in Napa Valley, but still worth the trip. Peaceful, elegant and great service. We loved it and would go again. St. Helena is terrific.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Solage Experience in Calistoga"
Really nice modern feel to the place. Very clean but not your overdone plush 5 star experience. Floors are polished concrete, so if you need to be coddled and pampered, you might be disappointed by the austerity of the flooring. The bed was terrific and the vibe healthy. I chose not to eat here with all of the fine restaurants available in the valley, […] but the cocktails were fine. Bicycles allow you to get exercise and the bocce courts are a blast. Pool is terrific and the spa was the finest I have been to in years and I have been to many. Only drawback: not a ton of great wineries close by, but that is why you rent a car or get a driver. Looks deceiving from the road, but wiat until you get into your room. I never wanted to leave. Could have spend days in the room but needed to see Napa. Looking forward to my next Napa trip just to get back there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at Solage in Calistoga. The staff was helpful and friendly. The accommodations were lovely but could have use some area rugs as the concrete floors were a bit chilly. My only real disappointment was in Solbar, the hotel restaurant. We dined there three times during our stay. We order lunch to go and it was delicious. Secondly, […] we had dinner and there was a 20 minute wait between our salad course and our entrees. My chicken was so dry I couldn't finish one piece and the ravioli was a whole duck liver wrapped in a thick piece of pasta without any sauce. I couldn't eat it. Finally, our last meal was breakfast and it was almost 30 minutes from the time we were seated until we received our food. I would say stay at the hotel, enjoy the spa facilities but eat at one of the many restaurants in Calistoga. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful place to escape"
My friends and I loved Solage! We were amazed at the location and the service of the staff. One particularly extraordinary experience was the "Mudslide" at the spa. You get a little bit of everything with this service and it's well worth it! Taking a quick yoga class in the morning is highly recommended as well. A wonderful experience - we have already booked to return in April with friends.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent hotel for special occasions, families, and dog lovers. This hotel has something for everyone and accommodates all the different travelers so well as the property is made up of small independent studios. I was here with a gilrfieind for a birthday celebration and the staff and services were excellent. I recommend the spa if you like to use […] that type of service. However, the not to miss item at the property is their restaurant , skip those in town eateries and indulge yourself on-site. You will be impressed with the "foodie experience". Not over the top in price, but the taste, presentation and quality is impressive. Will definitely return, am already planning my 30th anniversary there next year. Five stars all the way around.
