"Fabulous Hospitality"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 13, 2012
We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We had a fairy chimney room and a cave room. The fairy chimney room was really nice and worth the extra few euros if it is available during your stay. The cave rooms are basic, bed table, bathroom etc. What makes this hotel a wonderful place to stay is the hospitality. A wonderful Turkish breakfast is included and the staff even offered to cook fresh omelets for us. The manager Numan really wanted to make sure we had a fantastic time. We were interested in guided tours of the area but since we were traveling with children we wanted more flexibility than the organized tours offered so Numan arranged private guided tours for us. The city and area is spectacular and the hotel hospitality really made the stay perfect. In my opinion the hotel should be rated at least 3 stars on European standards and the hospitality even higher.
"Incredible stay in cappadocia"Reviewed by Harrison of "Nyc" on Mar 27, 2012
Been to two dozen countries and many more cities... This bed and breakfast cave hotel was unforgettable and wonderful in every way possible. Great manager who guided us around the valley, intimate dining experience on rooftop lounge, perfect views of valley and sunset, a wonderful experience!!! So accommodating with last minute room switching, hotel manager made sure we got to where we wanted to be- dervish show, Turkish bath, airport..
"hotel staff were beyond hospitable"Reviewed by stacy i of "chicago" on Mar 23, 2012
The hotel staff gets a five star rating from me. They were all amazing! My only recommendation is that you don't stay in a cave hotel in winter because they are the furthest thing from warm. We slept in our clothes!
"Loved it!"Reviewed by Robyn M of "Houston, TX" on Nov 17, 2011
We wish we would've stayed longer!! The hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The owners and their family were at the hotel that entire weekend we were there and they were such a pleasure!!! They stayed and talked with us, letting us know the sights around the hotel and fun things to do. The Cappodocia region is a woniderful place and a hotel like this makes it even better!! I would certainly stay here again and also reccomend others to stay!
"Elkep Evi- reasonably priced villa style"Reviewed by Cameron C of "Los Angeles" on Oct 26, 2011
The rooms, although stacked caves in a larger hillside, have their own front patios with table and sofa, looking out over the valley, it really has a villa kind of feel. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean, as cave rooms have to constantly be maintained against eroding dust Ive been told. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit of a trek up a hill from town, but nearby just down the hill was Ziggy's, a restaurant that I returned to 2 nights in a row, possibly the most memorable meals of my trip in Turkey.

"Integrated with its environment"
Many buildings in this area appear as modern versions of the historical cave dwellings, and Burcu Kaya is best appreciated as an expression of this environment. The beds were subpar, and the rooms were rustic, but the pool and common areas were very nice. Cafeteria dining was not managed well. The hotel is located near Goreme and Urgup, so its location […] is fine--given that the sites of interest are distributed over a broad area. The town was worth visiting to gain a flavor of rural town life on the plateau. Read more
"I'd recommend it"
If you're looking for a good stay in Cappadocia this hotel is a great option. Our room was very clean although somewhat older looking at first glance. It has great character and comforts for the whole family. Other cappadocia hotels I've stayed in drip sand from the ceiling, but this hotel had none of that. Great!! Our kids loved the pool.

buffet repas pas terrible, couvert de mouches
"Very good situation to visit Capadocia,"
Characterfull hotel, well situated to tour around the major important places of Capadocia.Very good and varied mezze buffet, the hot food buffet was quiet poor in choice and quality. Very good breakfast. Very nice swimming pool. Our room was pretty small for 3 beds and generally very humid because the airconditionning is not working properly to cool […] and dry the air but works more as a fan. No efficient air evacuation in the small shower room. Important suggestion for the hotelmanagement: they should ask the tour tourist that wake up at 5 am to do the balloon flight to meet in a seperated inside place so they dont wake up the whole of the hotel at such an early hour. But we enjoyed our stay here. Read more
