The hotel was alright. It wasn't as close to the Metro as the front desk told us. I forgot 2 jackets in the closet when we left. I called the hotel the same day and could not get the front desk to check the room for me. They told me they would check with house keeping and call me back. After not getting a call, I called the hotel the following day, […] got a different person on the phone, and she gave me the same story....and again no phone call. Finally on the 3rd day after check out I called and happened to be in the area again. I explained to the desk again, and this gentlemen told me he would check and call me back. 5 minutes later I got a call and he had the jackets and I picked them up later that day. Although they don't have a pool, they easily make up for that in everything else they offer. Their shuttle ride to the Branch Avenue Metro Station was a big factor in selecting them for my accommodations, although they are only a short 5 minute walk in a safe neighborhood away from the metro station, which I did twice during my stay there. I'd stay there again. The area is not great, but if you have a reason to be there, then this is a good option. The only really annoying thing about the place was that our key card NEVER worked twice in a row. Every time we returned to the hotel we had to get it re-magnetized.

Even though the hotel has hours posted that the van goes to the train station, they will come and get you if you call ahead, even if it's late at night. This hotel was clean, the staff was nice, and the the breakfast was good. I would go there again.

Hotel very close to Green Line Branch Ave. Metro. About 10 minutes walking time or call for courtesy car. Great breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, toast, waffles, cereal, oatmeal and more. Very clean, quiet, comfortable. By Metro from airport about 45 - 50 mins. To downtown DC about 25 - 30. Definitely will stay here again.

Room was more than we expected, larger and with microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. The hotel is close to the Branch Ave. Metro station and offers free pickup and delivery service. Breakfast was outstanding, with eggs, sausage, several juices, a selection of fruit and pastries of various types. Highly recommended.

One of the criteria of my stay was to have shutttle service to the nearby stadium. I was told by the operator that a shuttle was available and would be able to get us to our destination. We found out upon check in that this is not their policy and the service always runs shorter on Sunday which is what we neeeded. We had to very quickly make other arrangements […] for travel. We were completely satisfied with our stay. The hotel was lovely and clean. The price was extremely reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. We were very close to the main attractions of DC, but still had excessible chain stores right by us for picking up things we needed. Hotel was extremely expensive for the services offered. It lacks a pool. The area is not great. There are no shoppetes or pharmacies close by. However, in the hotel there are vending machines with drinks. Metro station is pretty close, around a mile or so you can walk or either take the shuttle offered by the hotel. Downtown is 30 minutes by metro. […] I appreciated that they offer a shuttle every 30 minutes to the metro station, however it runs from 8 a.m to 12 p.m and then from 4 p.m to 8 or 9 p.m. Hotel is well kept and clean. Breakfast is good, freshly served every morning, with a good number of items to choose from. I suggest going early though, because this is a VERY crowded hotel and when items are finished, they are not replaced. I remember going a couple of times around 8 and the whole bucket of yogurt was already gone, together with bread and bagels! However, they keep the coffee coming! Staff is nice and ready to help, but also not always knowledgable. The first day I asked the receptionist for a baby's crib and she said she was not sure if they had them or not, but she did not even offer to ask someone else. She just said she was sorry and that was it. Later the night I asked a different receptionist and I found out they had baby cribs and I was able to get one! Overall pleasant stay, but for the money I spent, I would not come back, I am sure there are better hotels for the same amount. Read more

Walls and floors are paper thin. My room was on the first floor and the customers upstairs had kids running around late into the night and early mornings. Not ideal for a weary traveler Hotel has only two exit doors which are not available for entrance until after hours. We drove into downtown and paid only $22 for all day parking near 6th and C - still a major savings if we had stayed downtown. Hotel was clean but needing a good airing out. Smoke free rooms should be SMOKE FREE not just sprays with fresher. I had a headache through the night from it. Noisy bus load of kids on upper levels added to the unrest. No glass water glasses in room just styrofoam. They somehow forgot caffeinated coffee to go with coffeemaker.
