"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.

Great place to stay in a great Area, Restaurant and Bar are open, Great Food and Service...... Needs to be updated on the website
"comfortable rooms, exactly what we needed"
The staff was very attentive and super friendly, the rooms were not only hip and modern looking, but also extremely well thought out. The immediate (and I mean literally the very immediate) area did not initially impress, but it is hardly 2 minutes per foot away from glittery 5th avenue, which shopping options and dining galore. (actually 7th avenue […] was very similar). Manhattan was easily reachable from two different subway stations, depending where in Manhattan we wanted to be.It is also a nice stroll to Atlantic Terminal of the LIRR, which is another option for reaching some destinations in the heart of Manhattan. The breakfast basket was exactly what we needed. This is not a hotel with a wow front facade or lobby, but the convenience and layout of the room, and genuine attitude of the staff made this the perfect place for exploring New York. For example, my wife arrived before me and at 10 am (as I was flying in from elsewhere after a business trip). Although it was too early to be given a room, she could store her baggage, use the free wifi, and were assisted with all her questions. Oh yes, everything was clean, the shower pressure was excellent, and the bed was very, very soft. Read more
"Great Service!"
The staff at the hotel went the extra mile for us. After a very late dinner at the restaurant located on the top floor of the hotel the bellman went out in the rain for 10 - 15 minutes in order to hail a car to take our daughter and her boyfriend back to their youth hostel in Brooklyn. The car/cab companies were busy with the rain and this was more […] effective than the phone call to request service. The front desk staff also helped book a tour and was very helpful with tips on getting around town. We loved our very nice room and the attentive staff! Read more
"Park Slope"
Very nice, conveniently located boutique hotel in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Wish there were a restaurant/bar. Heard there never was? Other than that, good location and extremely nice staff.
"Rooms, Service, Location"
The rooms were exactly like that in the website photos. Awesome rooms! Very clean! On the other hand, the location was not in an area where the hotel should be. Very odd location. Location a 1 out of 10. The service was a 6 out of 10. Could be improved upon. Amenities were nice. It's all about the details and the little things.
"Nice hotel w/good service but location is an issue"
Location is two or more blocks from other businesses. Restaurant on-site is not open for breakfast and continental breakfast is carb based. Service and food in on-site restaurant was exceptional for dinner.
"Clean, Modern Boutique Hotel"
The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and immaculately kept. The bathroom situation is a little funky (only a sliding glass door separates the toilet from the room). The immediate location isn't the greatest - next to a Staples, a Pep Boys, and a Taxi garage - but it's right on the border of Park Slope, so it's pretty convenient to all that […] Brooklyn has to offer. The staff was super-friendly and attentive to our needs. A great stay every time I visit Brooklyn. Read more
"Hotel Le Bleu in Park Slope (Brooklyn)"
The area is nice. There's plenty of stores and restaurants on 5th and 7th. This hotel is on 4th. It's very quiet. The assistant general manager was very unprofessional but I've stayed there four times and only had the displeasure of meeting him once. All the other staff are nice and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and very clean!

"Excellent service"
Excellent service - a really amazing staff. The bathroom arrangement of clear and frosted glass might be troublesome for those who are not romantically involved. 1 block away from a really great strip of Brooklyn - 15-20 min to times square.
great service! beautiful room! very clean and comfortable! absolutely loved it!
"Fab U LOUS"
This hotel was extremely nice and the comfort of the room was great. I like the facet that is was not very far for I guess that was downtown. Great Place to Stay
very beautiful nice and relaxing place, only downside is its a non smoking facility
"Hotel le bleu..."
They should highlight their policy regarding bringing a credit card for their insurance policy. If you don't have a credit card or can't get somone to do you the favor and lend you there's, you lose your money unless you cancel 48 hours in advance. I spent close to 5 hours in the lobby with my fiancé due to the fact I didn't have my credit card on me. […] I had to go through an unreasonable amount of stress just to receive a service I already paid for. Had I known I would of had all the needed resources. Then they didn't offer me any kind of amenities for the inconvience I had to go through. Then what was the cherry on top of the ordeal, they know this is a common recurring issue. There were 3 other couples there along with us and one couple couldn't get ahold of a credit card and walked away losing their money. By time I manage to get all the paper work sorted my fiancé and I were so overwhelmed we couldn't even enjoy the room and all the great amenities it had to offer. Read more
"problems at check in"
booked this hotel on the morning of valentines day. paid for online and when arrived at the hotel there was a bunch of unhappy customers at the from desk. when i approached the front desk i, myself, discovered why.... with the hotel when checking in you have to make a holding deposit with ONLY A CREDIT CARD! which is abit bazar as i've stayed at hotels […] which are far more fabolous and well known... such as the radisson, lowes, ritz carlton, hilton etc and never heard of this such thing. the thing that annoyed me is that even though i later found this policy it is on the website... its in very FINE PRINT and also....THEY SHOULD JUST ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS INSTEAD OF DEBIT CARD in the booking process to not cause confusion. i think that night in particular they made alot of money off empty rooms as alot of people were turned away. the staff was very rude in explaining this and were basically like if you dont produce a credit card yourself or from a third party you will lose your money. by the time we sorted the problem and checked in... it was already 11pm the night was almost over and almost ruined as me and my boyfriend spend 3/4 hours before hand to sort it out. apart from the staff being very rude and having a sarcastic attitude... the hotel decor was very nice and the room was decent size. i strongly recommend they change the policy and the staff that were working that night! "Romantic room"
I was here on business and the hotel was in walking distance to my place of business. Highlights were beautiful rooms, knowledgeable staff and great eatery in walking distance. "Brooklyn Hotel"
Love Love Love this hotel... so chic in its look and excited to dine in the resturant located atop of the building overlooking Manhatten.. Very convient (4 min) to Court Street shopping and on Smith Street. The only drawback is the parking. They only have parking for 1/2 of the units, so it's first come first serve.

"Hotel le Bleu, definitely an experience..."
Stayed at this place for 2 nights. I must say that this is a unique little hotel. Only about 2 blocks from the Subway station. The room itself is as I expected, it's a little small, but then again, my girlfriend and I didn't travel to NY to live in the hotel. If I were to go back to NY again for another visit, I'll definitely reconsider staying at the […] Hotel le Bleu again. Read more
"Great value for exceptional comfort."
I loved my stay here. The rooms are HUGE by NYC standards, luxuriously comfortable beds, great linens, hundreds of tv stations, DVD player, iPod player, etc. Lovely CLEAN bathrooms. Staff was beyond any expectations for friendliness and service. The restaurant was closed when I was there but apparently they are working on a new one to open; a very nice […] breakfast box was delivered each morning as requested. The only downside is the location. It is in Park Slope, but on 4th Ave, which is a rather inhospitable street to walk on. That having been said, I walked the 4 blocks to the subway every evening after 11 pm or even midnight and felt no sense of risk...lots of people out, several convenient 24 hour delis near at hand. And one block away is 5th Ave. which is lined with more great restaurants than you could ever eat in. It's about a 20-30 minute ride into Manhattan on Subway, depending on your destination. Again, I will stay here gladly anytime I need to go to NY if being in the heart of the city isn't necessary. Read more
"Worest customer service ever!!!"
Put a 450$ hold on my card and the staff was horrible. The manager was a jerk off! Do no book this hotel is you want service. The staff nor manager were helpful amd treated me as if I were riff raff.
"Be careful of the management at Le Blue"
We arrived at this hotel to go to a memorial service for a close frien who recently passed. Unfortunately the management was reticent to honor our prepaid hotel.com reservation b.c supposedly they couldn;t pull down a $150 deposit against my credit card. When I called the my bank they stated that the hotel hadn't sent through the transaction. EArlier […] the concierge had stated that they were full for the night and we felt that they were attempting to slight us b/c we hadn't booked with them directly. We were pretty clear with the management what they were doing constituted fraud. After that we had no problem the credit card deposit went through. OTHER THAN THE ATTEMPT AT STUPIDITY THE HOTEL WAS REALLY QUITE NICE. Read more
"Hotel Le Bleu exceptional service"
Stayed 3 nights while in the city for a family wedding. The room was as advertized and with a good skyline view from the terrace. The service from the staff was exceptional which made our visit exceptional!
"Hotel LeBleu - Total sleeping comfort"
Not only is the staff sincerely helpful and wonderfully nice, the beds and bedding are superior. This is my third stay at this hotel
"Great location"
Not ideal for family with small children.Beds are too high in height for kids and restroom/shower area are in close proximity of sleeping area, which can cause noisy pollutants(i.e.toilet flushing which was much louder than your average toilet). This is also due to the room's small size. There were also some flying insects which looked like fleas and […] i'd say we encountered at least about 3-4 of them. The room we reserved came with a window 's view of 4th ave.,2 full size beds+crib,wi-fi, internet cable access, nice sized flat screen with included cable TV,small closet w/iron board,& small refrigerator.Fyi, there are too many mirrors in the room especially around the restroom/shower area. For us, this made us feel a little uncomfortable. "Hotel Lebleu in Brooklyn"
The location was convenient since I was visiting my son in Park Slope and the hotel is near the subway. Although Park Slope is a lovely neighborhood, this hotel is in an industrial section, surrounded by U-Hauls and a taxi center. When I looked out my room, I literally was looking into a U-Haul lot. The room itself was quite pleasant and well appointed, […] but had no reading chair. The bathroom does not offer any privacy from the bedroom. It took a long time to check in, they did not have the room ready until after 3pm. The "continental breakfast" is brought to your room, as there was no common space in the hotel. There was an order sheet left in the room, but no pencil or pen to fill it out with! You have the choice of muffin or croissant, but you have to purchase the OJ from the bar. The exit stairway was blocked by a ladder on first floor and I commented to front desk about this when I left, as I thought this was a fire hazard. Read more
"Exceeding expectations"
We didn't know what to expect when we booked at Hotel Le Bleu, but it exceeded our expectations in most every way. The price was comparable to most every other chain hotel in the area, and Le Bleu could not have been more convenient to our destination (visiting family in Park Slope). The hotel appears to be brand new and the rooms were well appointed […] and clean. There was complementary water and snacks in the room, a spacious shower, and comfortable beds. The complimentary continental breakfast was delivered warm to our room and included extra muffins and croissants for our two children. And there was also free parking (very important in NYC). The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations in the Park Slope area. Read more
Great-I would stay there again
"Park slope hotel"
If you're visiting in Park Slope or Brooklyn this is a great choice of hotel. Rooms are ultra modern and very new. The price is reasonable and you have a continental breakfast delivered to your room included. Another plus is free parking in front of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.
"Don't let the location fool you ..."
Don't let the somewhat strange location - next to a taxi service garage, a Pep Boys, and a UHaul rental - fool you; this is a great hotel. I travel to Brooklyn often for business and this was by far the most comfortable hotel. Large room, incredibly comfortable bed, good shower with great toiletries, good TV, comfortable desk ... it's great. And the […] little details - like two complementary bottles of water and free room service continental breakfast (get the croissants) - are outstanding. Definitely recommend staying here. I would, however, suggest getting dinner someplace else - you can walk to 5th avenue and there are Ok places, but I think the Smith/Court street area. Read more
"Blues at Les Bleu"
I really wanted to like this place, but they've got a little work to do before I can recommend them. First things first - this is a hotel for couples. Not kids. There is no privacy in the room, which is fine if you're traveling with just your spouse/SO, but not so much otherwise. The room really is quite something to look at - the interior decoration […] is very cool, but in my opinion, function has been sacrificed a bit too much for form. I mean, when the first thing you remember is how dysfunctional the soap dish by the sink was, that's remarkable. We ordered a "rollaway", which came in the form of a (very nice) air mattress, which is perfectly fine, but it also came with exactly one sheet. We called down to get a blanket or duvee or something, and were told there were none available in the whole place. Really? A hotel without a spare blanket? And - with regards to the free parking they advertise, well, there's like 13 spots out front for 48 rooms. Good luck with that. And, as for the "delivered to your room" breakfast, yes, they deliver breakfast. You can have a muffin, bagel, or croissant, and maybe some yogurt. That's it. The second morning we were there (a Wednesday), they ran out of yogurt. And muffins. And croissants. So, don't get your hopes up. Y'know, it's the little things that separate the hotels you remember fondly from the ones you're unlikely to ever visit again. With one exception, the people that work here are pleasant, and they are trying, but I couldn't shake the impression that this place was put together by a a bunch of friends who decided to buy an apartment building and convert it to a cool hotel, without any of them ever having run a hotel before. I wish you guys luck. You should hire a consultant, take their advice, and maybe in a year or two you'll have it all smoothed out. Read more
"Hotel Le Bleu Brooklyn - fun hotel!"
The hotel is modern, fun, and well-staffed. The design elements (lighting, Ipod docs, bedding) are really great. Rooms are bright and modern. Bagged breakfast, and snacks were much appreciated! I have to report some negatives, though. The rooms are contemporary, which is great, but in order to save space they have used glass walls for the toilet area […] and shower. There was a drape over the shower for privacy but we would have liked a similar drape or highly textured glass over the toilet area. It would be nice to have more privacy in these areas! Also, there is no noise barrier in the bathroom so your activities in there can be heard by anyone in the main room. This could be an issue if you're not close with your roomies! Maybe a fan would help. Also - Our safe did not work, and that was quite inconvenient because it took the hotel awhile to open it and release our items. They were very nice and apologetic but it still caused a little worry on our part. Overall, a good experience and we would stay there again. Read more

"Love it! Best place to stay in Brooklyn hands down"
Great rooms and can't beat the location. Oh not to mention the complimentary bottled water, pirate's booty, and delivered breakfast.
Good location for visiting Brooklyn. However the roof top bar and resturant were not open, our room had no light above sink(we were told someone had broken it and it had not been fixed yet!)light out on desk lamp also but nothing was done to fix either of these issues while we were there for 3 nights. Breakfast delivered to room was nice and on time […] every morning. Read more
"NOT A FAMILY PLACE"
This hotel is not horrible, however, if you are staying here with anyone other than your lover/partner/husband/wife you may not want to. You HAVE NO PRIVACY. The shower is like a peep show. It is incased in glass and you can see throughout the room. The bathroom is open concept so you cannot go somewhere and change, ever. It is wide open. Great for […] a couple, bad for a family, or friends. OH AND THE BEST PART OF THE HOTEL, THE ROOF DECK, IS CLOSED Read more

"Good value in Brooklyn"
We decided to try Brooklyn rather than the usual, very expensive, Manhattan options. Hotel Le Bleu is a "boutique" property in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn. The street around the hotel is a bit seedy, but just a quick walk from the restaurants of 5th Ave. and the pleasant surrounding neighborhood (5-7 blocks from subway stations). The hotel is trying […] to be trendy in decor and furnishings, which mostly works well. The room was large by NYC standards and the bed very comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom layout, which seemed to emphasize appearance over functionality. The shower was gigantic, with confusing controls, while the sink area was tiny and poorly lit. But it was all manageable and kind of novel for a couple days. The staff was very friendly and helpful all around. The hotel restaurant and lounge was closed for renovation when we stayed. Read more
"Cool Hotel Near Rockin' BELL HOUSE"
Good Location 3-4 blocks from Bell House. Parking in front of Hotel could have had snow removed a little better for easier access (But it was several days after the 20inch December snowfall caught the Big Apple by surprise). Very nice amenities and super comfortable room. ONLY issue was TV and Cable not synched up or working in the room and by time […] I realized it. time was 200AM. "needed to be near Park Slope"
We needed to be walking distance to Park Slope. The hotel is on a crummy street, but one block away on 5th Ave the nice part of Park Slope begins. Room was big enough, and very clean, but there was no comfortable chair for watching TV. Bedside lighting was not bright enough. Bathroom was big but no division between shower and rest of room so floor got […] wet. No ice machine on floor so we had to call downstairs every time we wanted ice. Breakfast was delivered on time and was fresh. Parking is free if you're lucky enough to get a space, we got one so didn't move our car the entire weekend. Read more
