Best $45 hotel Ive ever been in... we used this hotel just as a stop over, and we were very happy for $45. Clean, quiet, no bugs in the bed, and the hotel clerk moved the "continental breakfast" at 8am to 6am just for us the next morning when we left. We will definitely go back if we are ever going to use the surrounding areas again.

We stayed overnight before visiting Williams College. Easy to find (right on main rd, but not too noisy), couple of casual restaurants within walking distance. Staff polite and responsive, but not overly friendly. Room was clean and well set up. Free wifi. Only dissppointment was the shower which had limited power and hot water. Continental breakfast was wrapped muffins and cereal, nothing fancy but good enough for a quick bite before hitting the road. Good experience at a good price.

Delightful place with a combination of old and new. The room was quite pleasant and comfortable. Loved the fireplace,whirlpool tub and 4 poster bed you almost needed a step stool to get in to. We can't say enough great things about the Cornell. Lance and his staff were wonderful! They couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. The room was immaculate and quite cozy. The Hotel was nice although we were not pleased with the cleanliness of the room (corners around floor and window sills not thoroughly cleaned). A little noisy for any room facing the street although we lowered storm windows which helped. It was a chilly night and the only heat was from a portable heater which was not near a plug. This breakfast included French toast which tied with the best French toast I have ever tasted. That alone was worth the visit. But the room was very comfortable, and the service was excellent. "Lovely quiet getaway"
Staying at the Cornell was a wonderful experience for my boyfriend and I. It is situated just outside downtown Lenox and we enjoyed the short walk down to the shops. I happen to think that breakfast is the best meal of the day, so staying at the Cornell was amazing because the breakfast food was beyond sumptuous, I still dream about it - pumpkin pancakes […] with homemade pumpkin syrup, baked peach french toast, vegetable quiche, homefries and fresh baked muffins, just to name a few of our favorites! "Wonderful place for a get-away!"
Our room was perfect ... comfortable, clean and quiet! Breakfasts every morning were delicious ... and my husband and I discovered a table away from everyone else, up some stairs, over a small bridge, near a small waterfall. How relaxing it was to eat breakfast there every morning! It was our own piece of paradise! Inn keepers were always helpful […] whenever we had questions about the area. We loved that we could walk to town (1/2 mile) and did so often. We were also within walking distance of a great park with wonderful hiking trails. All in all, this is a great area to stay in. Stayed at the Inn on August 16. Stayed in the main house in the Grace room on the second floor. Room was very comfortable. Windows looked out to the back patio complete with very serene sounding back yard water feature. Breakfast next morning was very nice....an inn that serves Decaf! Our room (Helen) was so small that there was no room for a chair! There was no tv (not that we really missed it.) The breakfasts were superb and the outdoor deck where we ate every morning provided a beautiful setting. After a day of sightseeing we returned to our room at 3:30 PM and it was still not made up! Beautiful 1880 Victorian, lovely grounds and waterfall. We enjoyed the Barbara room on the first floor, very spacious with a queen canopy bed and generous sitting area. We were disappointed, the rooms and building are in need of updating. The morning breakfast service & food was poor. The second day slightly better. Inn keeper wasn't to be seen during our stay (admittedly only for one night) and running of the establishment was left to a receptionist and cook.
