    The Greater Meriden area, as well as New Haven and even the Berkshires, can be viewed from atop Castle Craig in Hubbard Park. Built in 1900, the castle sits 1,002 feet above sea level, with hiking trails leading to the 32-foot-high structure.     room wa very clean, location was good too. At that time, I have to send a fax urgnetly, then the clerk in this hotel was very kind and gave me a wonderful help. He guided me to print that file from my email in his computer and he did fax it for me. Really want to say thank you to him. if possible,want to stay again

    I used to stay here when it was the comfort inn. Since they changed it has gone downhill. My nonsmoking room on the third floor smelled strongly of smoke. There was a desk but no chair. The water pressure was bad (weak shower, toilet backed up). A lot of items have been removed from the breakfast. The carpets haven't been cleaned in a long time

    Overall the hotel was fine. HOWEVER, I was there over a weekend and working. I was working long days and through the Friday and Saturday night the dance music was heard in my room. It was pretty challenging to sleep.

    We had 3 people staying in the room for a funeral. It was large enough that this worked. The cleanliness is good. Overall it was fine. Meriden in nothing to get excited about but the hotel was our little oasis.

    Only serious problem was NOISE. A musical event on the first or second floor went on until after midnight, yet the staff assigned guests to the third floor where it could easily be heard, instead of the fifth floor where it was much quieter.

    Stayed on a Sat. and Sun. night. There is a dance bar/disco on Fri and Sat, so on Sat. night there were a lot of sketchy characters hanging around.     The hotel location was close to the interstate which made it convenient to get to our family events. It was very well priced, so very comfortable and clean with a friendly staff. I would highly recommend that you chose the Meriden, CT Comfort Inn.

    We only stayed one night. The breakfast was more than we expected. We asked to stay passed the 11:00 am checkout time and they had no problem in extending out stay. The location of the hotel is near the highway which it was easy to get in and out of the area. Would stay again.

    Fourth floor hallway had an awful cooking smell the first day we arrived. A/C in the room was either too hot or too cold. The bathroom was just ok as far a cleanliness went. The desk staff were nice, as were any support staff we met. Overall it was an ok place. Needed to stay for a graduation weekend.

    i found it very good the rooms are very comfortable the breakfact is incredible and the beds are so comfty with very soft blankets the bathrooms are so amazing it has a fancy sink alot of towels and very much of soap

    Was worthy of its star rating and price paid. Shower head was a hand held unit that would not stay up in position. Would fall and hit you on the head. Coffee maker was non-functioning.

    the hotel is really good. clean and quiet. just the front desk was not very responsive. we called twice, and nobody came to help. we had to go find them at last to solve our problem. overall it's really good. there are several supermarkets and small restaurants around the hotel, and also a gas station.

    Would only recco if price is the driving force. While the hotel & room were clean, I got the impression only minimal work was done in this regard. During the night, a funky smell came through the heating system; this was very concerning.
