Internet service failed. Still had to pay for it. Manager extremely rude. There are other options at the airport. I will stay elsewhere next time.

The hotel is very practical if you have to stay in Dusseldorf for the night as it's not even a 2 minute walk from the terminal. The rooms are simple; I had two individual beds (which I dislike), small flat screen tv, lots of storage space (no idea who could fill that all)... We stayed only 1 short night but were impressed overall with the quality. I would have liked to have stayed long enough to enjoy the poil and saunas as they looked immaculate when we went to look at them. The room was a good size with plenty of space, including the bathroom. The typical german restaurant in the hotel was excellent and so was the service. […] It takes only 5 mins to walk to the arrival/departure hall at the airport so it's perfect for early flights. This hotel was next door to the airport...literally a five minute walk. Very convenient. Hotel was beautiful and service great. Only 3 complaints: 1) no free wifi, in room or lobby. 2) To view your tv in English, the cost is 5 euro per hour. 3) No restaurants/bars open until 1800 (and sushi restaurant closed on weekends)

The restaurant was open until 10.30 which was so helpful. Very convenient with 10 minute walk back to Lufthansa in the early morning. Clean and bright with comfortable beds.

Great, except no free WiFi and HORRIBLE price on breakfast. In 17 hotels on this 5 week stay, only 1 other charged for WiFi. Mc Donald's has free WiFi. Breakfast 20 euros per person[ $26.00!] This is not a good way to show a lower room price. I had a nice dinner entree at the hotel for 18 Euros. Go Figure!

Everything was great and the pool was fabulous. Also, it was incredibly quiet for being right next door to an airport. But the biggest drawback was = no free wifi. We traveled all through Europe and only two hotels, both in Germany, did not have free wifi. Please - they should get on board with something that is so simple now.

We were 4 people in journey through Dusseldorf airport. We spent one night at Hotel Maritime. The hotel is new, comfortable and fresh. The hotel is very convenient and within few footsteps of Terminal 1 arrival. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely use it again.

The Maritim was reasonably priced (through Hotels.com) and was a lot of value for the price. The spacious decor was nice. Everything was clean and with all of the bar/restaurant choices, there was no reason to leave the hotel.

Impecable under any point of view. Convenient location for people in need to stay close to the airport and use public transportation. A supermarket at the DUS airport, very close to the hotel, make the stay even more pleasant because you can buy wonderful products at moderate prices.

General quality of the Maritim cannot be questioned. It is small things that can irritate. Room temperature control is one. Response time to a request is another. Fee rate for amenities is another. Value is reasonable, certainly not great. Great location for an early departure.

While I cautiously booked this over the internet, based on it's close proximity to the Airport and seeing slightly better reviews than the other well known Hotel, I was VERY pleasantly surprised! This is a hidden GEM of a hotel. Convienent as it is essentially attached to the airport with a covered walkway leading to the main terminal about 150 yards, […] 125 meters away. The hotel is amazingly clean, modern and convienent! We pulled right up unloaded, went to the city, (if you have never enjoyed Dusseldorf, we found it to be a delightful city with a vibrant old city and waterfront), drove back, gassed up and returned our car all within a couple of hundred meters form the hotel. The next morning my wife flew to Chicago at 6 am and I to Russia at 11:00am. I was able to see her off and go back to sleep for a couple of hours, I then checked one bag from our earlier travels at the bag storage to pick up on my return home, checked in and went to Starbucks. Of all the so called 4 star hotels we stayed at with disappointment on this trip, this was a delight and earned my business for any future travels that take me to Dusseldorf! Read more
