Our apartment was in a lovely old building and had a large living room with separate medium bedroom, kitchenette and (the only downside) a small bathroom - plus a balcony with a good view. The furnishings and decoration were tasteful and the people very helpful. Highly recommended, as is Matera itself.

This apartment was beautifully renovated and furnished in the Sassi district of Matera, with a view from the balcony over the other side of the Sassi district . Very good value for money with parking not too far away, and all the sights on your doorstep..

The San Giorgio was a great place to stay and exceeded our expectations. The apartment is one of the classic living quarters that Matera is famous for, it has been tastefully decorated and modernised with all the amenities necessary. Alessandra welcomed us warmly and was extremely helpful with local information and suggestions in making the most of […] our time in Matera. She took us to the apartment (which was in the heart of the old area also known as the "Sassi", which was perfect as it meant we were right beside all the historical points). She methodically went through all the usual hotel information in a clear and consciencious manner. Detta hotell/residenicia är bara helt otroligt.. Vi har aldrig bott på något liknande. Rummen ligger i en mycket gammal byggnad med grotta under. Från ett av våra rum hade vi ett fönster ner mot denna grotta som en gång i tiden varit både kyrka och senare ett olivolje-lager. Det är 200 meter med trappor och kullerstensgata mellan receptionen och dessa […] rum. Rummen är förberedda för självhushållning så den frukost som erbjöds var mycket torftig. ホテルのインフォメーションセンターがマテーラ・サッシ内のVIA FIORENTINI沿いあります。部屋は、インフォメーションセンターから３～４分坂を上がった場所にあり、岩肌をくり抜いた独特の部屋で雰囲気は満点です。広くはありませんがシャワー・トイレも清潔に整備され、居心地良いです。インフォメーションで翌日のタクシーの手配もお願いして取っていただきました。ＳＡＳＳＩの中心に位置する立地で、レストランも周りにたくさんあり非常に便利なホテルでおすすめです。

Siamo appena tornati dal nostro primo viaggio a Matera, dove siamo stati al Residence San Giorgio. La posizione del residence è ottima, vicina ai sassi e vicina al centro di Matera. L'accoglienza è stata ottima, molto cordiale, disponibile e gentile la ragazza alla reception, che ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni per visitare Matera e alla fine del soggiorno […] ci ha fatto da cicerone per una visita presso il loro ipogeo. Super værelse / lejlighed, (Værelses navn,Grafitti) alt var ny istandsat. Lækkert badeværelse, og godt lille køkken. God seng. Selvbetjent morgenmad på værelset fungerede fint. Egen ugeneret terasse.
