I had an extra day in my business trip and elected to spend in Montpellier, France. I selected the Mercure Centre for its location, near the old downtown. The location was fine and convenient to walking around on Saturday morning in the old city.

We stayed here for a few day while visiting the surrounding region. These rooms are literally minutes away from the main train station. Our room was very well equipped, clean and extremely quiet. Tram lines and buses are also minutes away by foot. WiFi worked very well and had a strong signal. Highly recommended!

The hotel was nice and new. It was very clean which I really appreciated. Overall I would give it a very good recommendation. There was an issue with the Internet, only one person could log in at one time & on one device. When I mentioned it to the management they said they are addressing the issue & hope to have it resolved in a few months. Little difficult to find. Would have been nice to have a coffe pot and coffee provided in the kitchenette though. We would go back.

When entering the room we were met with a dreadful stench of feline urine. On advising reception we were offered a second room, which was clean and smelt ok, however this room was next to the outside staircase and somewhat noisy. Otherwise the hotel was as normal for this class.

La situation de l'hotel est bonne, à l'entrée de Balaruc mais l'hotel lui même doit être rafraichi. L'hotel Balladins, situé à 30 mètres et dont les chambres sont au même prix semble plus récent.

prestations a la hauteur du prix de la chambre donc rien a redire.par contre : trace de fond de verre collante sue la table de nuit, nous avons nettoyé nous même avec du papier toilette et il est devenu noir ce qui veut dire qu en dehors de la tache, il y avait pas mal de poussiere...........désagréable et pas normal

Même si cet hôtel propose des tarifs attractifs pour la région (proche du bord de mer et de montpellier), la qualité de ce dernier n'en est pas moins médiocre. La chambre était sale dans l'ensemble (plus particulièrement la salle de bain), et le plus gros défaut : LA CLIMATISATION NE MARCHAIT PAS alors qu'il faisait 35 degrés, la nuit étant très chaude, […] nous étions obligés de dormir la porte ouverte... Mis à part cela, il y avait des travaux effectués dans le campanile à côté et cela nous a réveillé à 7h du matin. Je déconseille vivement cet hôtel à tous les clients. Il vaut mieux aller dans un Etap Hôtel qui présente moyennant une dizaine d'euros supplémentaires des services bien plus confortables et des chambres plus propres. Read more
