Been here many times. Excellent location near all major sites! Rooms are average size, but well kept and clean. Staff is friendly at front desk. Breakfast is good didn't eat there this stay, but it was packed as always. Overall, a good stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Recent Remodel and Perfect Location"
This hotel is in the perfect location to go anywhere in downtown Toronto. Plus, it's just been remodeledGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hit and miss"
Very convenient neighborhood, many restaurants, Rogers Centre close by, and a short walk to the subway. Valet parking was full, friendly staff but a bit of a wait at check-in. Mysterious stains on a pillowcase and a less than sparkling commode. Given the number of hotels in the neighborhood, I don't think we'd stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great hotel.....highly recommend"
Hotel was amazing. They took care of a late night issue with noise immediately and compensated us. Need to reconfigure the breakfast area. Too many people and not enough seats, food, dishes etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

there was a long line every time we wanted to use the elevator, the staff were great and frenedly, the room was nice and clean could have had better pillows and douvets.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great stay in Toronto!"
This hotel was amazing and what a great price! I was in town for business. The bar tender did some magic tricks for us one night, he was a hoot! The front desk helped book a car for me to the airport and the free breakfast every morning rocked! I would stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Upgraded from the front desk without asking!"
Hotel was great! If you have business or just in town for the sights... I'd book a room there again 100%. Breakfast was great and overall a wonderful experience. I was even upgraded to a King suite because of the renovation work only floor and I wasn't the one that asked for it... The front desk did an amazing job making sure I was happy. Job well done... The quarters/main lobby was small, however the room size and layout made up for it. I loved the home away from home feel and the layout of the room. Thank you!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Friendly Staff and Service"
Great Customer Services. Friendly hotel staff. Located in the heart of the entertainment district. Most night clubs and bars within walking distance. Only not so great appearance the hotel places an extra hold of $250 CAD on your bill on top of the regular rate. The hold can be paid by cash or debit/credit card. Just would've been nice to know.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
great location, great buffet breakfast, clean rooms, comfy beds, parked on parking lot behind hotel for half price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worst Hotel Room For The Money"
Having stayed in some 100+ rooms over the past couple of years, this Residence Inn has earned "The Worst Hotel Room For The Money" title by me. This is a brand that is supposed to represent comfort and convenience for an individual or small family. It was neither; especially for the price. First, to be fair, the good attributes: -housekeeping did an […] excellent job -front desk staff was very courteous The bad: -Most uncomfortable bed I have slept in; perhaps ever, at any price. It was a complete mess and the springs in the middle were so compressed. Almost like sleeping in a ditch. -The pillows amounted to nothing more than the equivalent of a rolled up towel. I liked all three up and still barely elevated my head. -The walls are paper thin and I could easily hear guest conversations on both sides of my room. -The TV channel selection was paltry. Some of the most popular channels in North America were absent. -The TV turned off every 60 minutes if I did not touch a button. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this hotel; especially in light of the cost. The neighborhood is fine and convenient, but there are so many choices, I will choose something else next time. Marriott should be disappointed in this representation of their brand Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Bed was excellent Shower was excellent Staff was Extreamly helpful Room layout was excellent Room was cozy TV was excellent Only issues were there were young adults partying on our floor Saturday night and our bell was rung twice late at night. "Why get a hotel when you can afford a studio Apt.!"
Great layout and size in our studio suite. Location was great and could walk many places in downtown. Many restaurants nearby as well. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were disappointingly flat. Breakfast, included in the price, was OK with many choices but very chaotic as it approached the 10am cutoff time Sunday morning - take a plate back […] to your room! "Nice Hotel central to downtown Toronto"
Our room was comfortable and although we did not use the kitchen area it is a very nice facility great for families. The breakfast was excellent, staff very helpful. We decided to use the valet service even at $47 a day but they could not accommodate my truck.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quality stay, PERFECT location"
We were there for a baseball camp at the Rodgers Center. We were with a large group but all booked separately. The staff was accommodating with getting us together. The room was very spacious (bigger than any regular room I've stayed in anywhere), clean and up to date. The location is the best. SHORT walking distance to the Rodgers Center, CN Tower […] and Aquarium. I would 100% stay there again and because of the convenience of getting to the destinations we would like to revisit, a summer trip is guaranteed at this hotel. It was a great stay, even for one night. The hotel was really nice and same with the rooms. The staff was also great with checking in and out, they were nice and patient. "2 bedroom suite (pricey parking/pet fee)"
Stayed in 2 bedroom suite - pretty spacious and nice kitchen (fully stocked with plates, silverware, etc.). Living room only sits 3 comfortably (unless people sit at dinner table which sits 4). $45 daily valet parking fee (not really any other options for parking) and $100 pet fee which are definitely on the high end.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, but ....."
Room was very spacious and large. but, noise from hallway easily came in through door, heard several people coming in after 2 am and having noisy conversations. Also had a problem with refrigerator in our suite unit; starting making loud noises (from fan in freezer) in middle of night; had to unplug it to be able to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

good location, comfortable rooms, exorbitant parking feeGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Residence Inn Toronto Downtown / Entertainment District Dear Mom, we appreciate your comments and thank you for staying with us. As a downtown property with limited parking space our valet is priced at rates that are similar with other hotels downtown. There are public lots in the area as well which provide overnight rates. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
"Great location inthe Entertainment District"
The free breakfast was not up to the standards of most Residence Inns we have stayed at. Valet needs a better system to retrieve cars.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Residence Inn Toronto Downtown / Entertainment District Dear Nancy, thank you for your comments and feedback. The hotel could not be in a much better location and the price/value is good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable except the sofa bed, which was not in a very good shape for two pre-teenage kids to sleep inGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best Deal in Town"
Our oom was large, well equipped, really comfy and clean. For the location, in the entertainment district, the price for a king with sofa and kitchen, free WIFI and free breakfast (with everything you might desire) is unbeatable. The valet parking deal is however not recommended, at $ 45. One can walk a block and do much better.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Residence Inn Toronto Downtown / Entertainment District Dear Gus, your positive feedback is much appreciated, as we try to do everything possible to make sure our guests leave the hotel completely satisfied. Valet parking prices are on par with the rates in the downtown core, however as you mentioned, we also recommend the outdoor self parking lots to our guests. Thank you for having stayed with us.

"Convenient Toronto location"
We've stayed here twice and really like the location of this hotel. Most sights are within walking distance. The buffet breakfast is more than adequate. The rooms were well appointed and kept clean. One downside is the location of the lobby/check-in. The check-in desk runs along the main entrance hallway so there is often congestion when entering or […] leaving the hotel or when lining up for breakfast. The front desk employees seem overwhelmed and sometimes distracted as well. Good for families. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location, friendly valets. Overall nice hotel and clean room, but sofa-bed was broken which we didnt find out until coming back very late at night...daughter ended up sleeping on floor.
