Except for a previous customer's dirty socks (reason for the "1") that were left under the pull out sofa, the rooms were clean and as expected. Given that it was Fasnacht, the hotel offered a reasonable room at a reasonable cost and I was able to book only two nights instead of 3 or 4 as required at other Basel hotels. The hotel was convenient for driving with parking below and was close to tram and bus stops. The staff was not very helpful. My guess is that they were transplants from other regions and weren't informed about the city. In an effort to answer questions, they did nothing more than to read the copied printouts of information provided by the hotel.

This hotel is in a good location (easy access from Tram #15 or 16) and close to SBB. Only having front desk from 8am-5pm was weird but actually worked fine. When I had problem with WiFi access they went out of their way to solve the problem, including calling me during the day to give me a status update. Room and bathroom were good size. TV sucked but that wasn't so important.

The hotel CAMPANILE Restaurant which is located on the same parking lot as the FIRST CLASS, has a seminar room, lighted and comfortable. We can accommodate up to 25 people in U configuration and up to 50 people in cocktail setup. very small bathroom and verrrrrrry small shower. with only one hand towel and one bath towel,tv was ready to retire,outside temperature was 32 and inside temperature was about 38 with no a/c or even a fan,tried to convince manager to give me a fan or move me to a lower level instead of the top level which is very hot,but refused,even asked to get refund […] for the next day stay to go some where else with no luck,instead i got hard time explaining to manager that do not understand a word of english which make me wasting too much time telling customers and other passing by persons to translate and the result was very rood and no concern manager what so ever .the only good thing was the clean room. that's about it. very good budget hotel. very close to highway and Basel. Easy to locate, ample parking. stayed for 4 nights while we drove around Switzerland.Average breakfast. Initially there was a problem with hot water, but was sorted soon.No one at reception spoke English.

Globalement ça va. Certes, niveau espace, les chambres sont très exaigu et surtout la douche mais quand on viens juste pour dormir comme moi, ça ira très bien et vu le prix pour une chambre pour 3, faut pas s'y attendre à plus. Si vous cherchez juste à vous reposer et dormir pour 2 ou 3 nuit, alors c très bien.

Das Hotel ist als Übernachtungshotel (Flughafen) geeignet. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Leider war das Zimmer stark verraucht (Matratze, Bettwäsche, Handtücher). Sehr hellhörig. Frühstück war für den Preis in Ordnung. Wer außerhalb der Rezeptionszeiten kommt muss am Automaten einchecken und viel Geduld mitbringen.
