"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Another Good Experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

East Rutherford’s main attraction is The Meadowlands, a 700-acre sports and entertainment complex comprised of a stadium, an arena, and a horse racetrack. This massive venue hosts big-name concerts, and it is home to the New Jersey Nets, the New York Jets, and the New York Giants. Pope John Paul II once celebrated Mass at Giants Stadium before a record-breaking crowd of 83,000 people.

"Fantastic!"
The staff bent over backwards to be friendly, helpful, and accommodating to us. I would stay there again without a second thought. Great for families,
"The best hotel in New Jersey"
We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were large and had a complete kitchen with all the appliances and utensils needed. The front desk clerks were beyond kind and helpful. One clerk even gave us a bus schedule to get us to NYC and back with the numbers of the buses on it. Very close to the bus stop, just a short walk to another hotel. […] Breakfast was a huge buffett that offered potatoes, eggs, bacon, fruits and many more items. Excellent choice to make to stay here. Read more

Nice place, nice people there. Neighborhood has many good places to eat.
"Good bargain on extra nice hotel"
The Residence Inn by Marriott in East Rutherford is a great bargain compared to other facilities in the neighborhood, and is very convenient to my family who live just 4 miles away in Passaic. The staff was very friendly, check-in easy, and the room could not be beat. The fact that it has a great workout room and indoor pool are big plusses. We will […] be back, and we will recommend this hotel to other relatives and friends coming to visit the area. Read more
"Football and Harness Racing"
We booked the hotel because it was so close to the Meadowlands. We checked in Sat afternoon, and rested up a little before going to Meadowlands Raceway for Harness Racing. The next day checkout was at noon, plenty of time to get breakfast and go to the Jets game. The room was sparkling clean and roomy. It had a nice kitchenette, although we didn't hardly […] use it. Great location in terms of public transportation to NY. However no so good surrounding if you plan to eat out within couple of miles. Pool should have been warmer.

"a very nice place"
location is not great but the room is really nice.
"Small Space"
I booked this hotel at the last minute because there was no other rooms available near by. I chose a one bedroom suite that looked spacious on line but when I walked into the room, everything was so tight that there was really no walking room. The chair and otterman faced away from the TV so you couldn't even watch. The sofa bed could not open because […] there was not enought room. There was a kitchen with a dish washer with all cooking utensils to use which was nice. The bathroom was a walk in shower with no tub which I didn't know about until I got there. They said there was internet access but I couldn't get on. Also we slept in a room behind the elevator so it was noisy all night and early morning when ever people used it. I'm not sure how the other rooms are but I would not recommend the one bedroom, king suite. Read more

"very convenient, very good service"
Just returnred from our visit, wanted to see New York and decided to stay a bit outside. Found a very friendly and helpful hotel staff and a clean and spacious room for a very reasonable price. The bus stop to downtown New York (Port Authority Bus Terminal) is a three minutes walk away and the ride takes around 20 min, a nice steak house is within 5 […] min walking distance. All that topped with a nice hot breakfast buffet, we can highly recommend this hotel! Read more
