The rooms were very nice and well designed and clean. the hotel was easy to reach off the highway. The staff was not very friendly at check in and the restraurant was so crowded that we did not have time to stand in line to eat breakfast or quickly pick up some food.

I had some physical limitations during this visit and the hotel accommodated them excellently. In addition, Patrick was very willing and helpful in getting my belongings from my car to the room. Room as very big and arranged for well for disabled guests. Loved the in house Bistro with happy hour. I will stay here again.

I wish there had been a continental breakfast and a stationary bicycle in the gym. However, that was balanced out by the wonderful service and the great temperature of the pool water. It is almost always freezing cold at hotels and this was perfect for actually swimming and doing exercise. I recommend it.

If you are staying on "Hotel Row" the hotel is new and the best one on the strip. They don't have in room movies so bring your laptop or iPad. The freeway noise and train whistle can be heard but are not very noisy.

Bed was way too hard and pillows were flat n uncomfortable! Ironing board was cheap and could not give my dress shirt a decent pressing. My wife and i would not stay there again. They could not mak a decent bloody mary at bar. Just being honest!

For "Motel Drive" this hotel is the nicest of the lot. Merced isn't exactly the cuddliest of locations, but I didn't feel too unsafe. I perhaps would not go for a long jog into the surrounding neighborhoods, the the hotel itself felt very secure. The lobby/restaurant is nice and has what you need. Morning coffee wasn't too bad either!

The hotel and hotel personal was very good, could'nt ask for anything better. I have two complaints, the road noise from the freeway was not good and the elephants in the room above was restless early in the morning. My next stay I'm requesting a room on the east side and top floor.

The room was very comfortable, though the a/c was a bit ackward to use, and did not condition the bathroom area unless we propped the bathroom door open with something heavy to keep it from closing. My family and I chose this hotel because it has great ratings. I was extremely disappointed and disgusted when I saw a MOUSE in our room(230)!!! To make matters worse, I had to call the front desk 3 times! They had no sense of urgency. It was almost like it was the norm. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Initially we were placed in a room with a broken toilet, but the front desk quickly changed us to a nearby room...amazing because we arrived after 8PM. They also gave us directons to an open eatery withn a 10 minute drive. Advance paid breakfast was substantial and good. We were very satisfied during our brief stay!

A very nice Courtyard by Marriott. The staff are friendly. The room is well designed and furnished. We did not expect the quality of the hotel in Merced. We decided to use Merced as a gateway into Yosemite and were concerned with the quality of the hotel facility in Merced. To our surprise, the Courtyard was over our expectation.

Staff was very helpful and always smiling. Very convenient location as other businesses, i.e., restaurants and such were only a mile or so away. Pool was tremendous, especially with six kids. Rooms were clean, up to date, with wi-fi and climate control. Will stay again.

Stayed one night on the way to Yosemite. Room was very clean and beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get up...Indoor pool and spa was nice and stayed open late. Free coffee in the lobby was great! Filled up our coffee mugs on the way out....Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable room, pretty basic in terms amenities, but not much to do, see, or eat in the immediate neighborhood. TVs are at an angle to the bed, so not terribly good for viewing in bed. Good service at front desk and cafe.

We spent one night in this place before we visit Yosemite. The place is clean and comfortable. It is very convenient location (next to highway) but without noise. We were allowed to leave one car there over night after checking out the hotel. Only drawback is the town is very quiet when we come back on Sunday. Many restaurant were not in service.

Nice location. We stayed there to pick up our daughter from college and found it to be as we remembered it. Nice room and amenities. The downsides: Large gaps under the door allows all light and noise to enter, the pool is nice but the pool towels are the size of dish towels and you could sand wood with them they are so rough. Nice Family hotel!

As an example, the cloths iron had hard water scale on it and got on my clothes and it leaked water. The ironing board was damaged and the people I spoke to about it did not understand the importance of it. I travel for business purposes and need to have neat and clean clothes. Their food and drink bar was a joke and extremely expensive.

I stay at the courtyard Marriott Merced that is one of the latest and greatest hotel I notice in the central valley, very upscale modern looking lobby area. The room was very spacious and well organized, comfortable bed to relax. I enjoy it really well. great Job!! The other new thing I notice was New Lobby with Bistro open offering Dinner, Breakfast, […] Starbuck coffee 24 hours and Bar service at night make my stay really enjoyable.
