"Luxury in the heart of Cefalu'"Reviewed by Linda S of "Shreveport, LA" on Dec 8, 2011
Finally, a full-service hotel on the main street (Corso Ruggero) of Cefalu'. Large, comfortable room, ample breakfast, and management and staff could not have been more accommodating.

Enzo and Aurora are very friendly and helpful. You almost feel you are part of their family. Enzo will also cook at night for you. You will not have better food -- it is great. The location is within easy walking distance of most sites of interest. We had a large room that was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is recently renovated and is in great shape. Highly recommend!

"Villa Raino -Delightful and Delicious"Reviewed by Janice M of "Princeton,NJ" on Jun 9, 2011
Villa is lovely. Rooms are clean, comfortable, but not luxurious. (not unexpected for a farm stay) The proprietor, Aldo was wonderful. Excellent breakfast and the dinner here is a must. Extended our stay another night.

The hotel was very nice. It is located in a small town about 15 minutes outside Palermo. The staff was helpful but spoke very little English. It is listed as beachfront hotel 'guests at this property have access to a private beach', the beach is more of a small cove. There was a reception desk but not a real concierge desk. The hotel was very clean, except for the in-room refrigerator which was not usable. We were guests there during the off-season so it was very quiet, the bar wasn't open and there was no shuttle running. All in all the hotel was very pleasant. Right next door there is a great restaurant, Cafe 113, with fabulous food, exceptional staff and great ambiance. .

Rated one of Sicily’s loveliest resorts, this ancient fishing village on the Tyrrhenian coast is deservedly popular. Buildings crowd a rocky shelf below the hill of La Rocca, on which towers Cefalù’s Romanesque cathedral. Byzantine mosaics glitter within, a figure of Christ Pantocrator dominating the apse. Palms and ipalazzi/i line the square outside. King Roger’s palace, a medieval washhouse and the Museo Mandralisca are worth a visit.
