In other tourist places the same hotel would not be able to command more than 70$.There are no major complaints. Room was clean... blanket could have been better. it is clean but not very comfortable...Breakfast was passable....

The location, service, and condition of the room was completely acceptable. The back of the place is on the water and there is a small pier where you can sit. We were lucky enough to see 2 dolphins swim by in the channel.

the hotel (motel) is a little old but clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. easy walk to "downtown" restaurants and shops. they have a big dock for boats and a couple of grilling areas, which is better than the restaurant options. DIY fresh shellfish.

The hotel is a little long in the tooth and could use a facelift. The wireless internet didn't work for us unless we went to the pool or lobby. The totebag/trolley tokens which we were promised never materialized. The breakfast area is small but staffed by cheerful employees, especially the young lady who was the waffle maker. I want to give the hotel a 5 star rating due to the GREAT customer service and location, but have mixed feelings about the property. So first, the good; service, breakfast, and location were all good. My husband and I have stayed at several different places in Chincoteague and this hotel by far was the best we've stayed at so far. Wonderful amenities and beautiful roses surrounding the entire property. We will definitely stay there again.

Very friendlu helpful service. The room was clean. It is an older motel but kept u well. The carpet could be replaced but ll in all very nice stay. They serve a very nice hot breakfast. All in all a very plesant stay.

The only complaint that we had was the carpet. We liked the location and the heated swimming pool. We would come back and stay there again if the carpet was to be replaced sometimes in the future. While you are there, go to J & B's grocery down the street and try their freshly made, delicious sandwiches.

The waterside inn is the bargain on chincoteague island. the room had a balcony, the pool was clean and heated, and they served breakfast. it was within walking distance of downtown and having the first coffee of the day on the pier out back will be my lasting memory.

Stayed for one night but glad we didn't book more than that. The bed was like sleeping on a rock! It was literally the hardest bed I've ever slept on. The fan in air conditiioning unit was so loud that it wok me up a couple of time during the night. It wasn't worth asking to be changed to another room for only one night.

First time staying at Waterside Inn and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were close to everything. The pool was great!! Enjoyed the stay very much, would recommend to others and would positively stay there again.

I love the Waterside Inn. It is my third visit with my daughter. I like the pool especially. The front desk people are so friendly as well as the cleaning staff. And the flowers are lovely.

View was gorgeous. Lovely and clean and a full breakfast included. A pool overlooking the inlet and a hot tub, too. The fridge, microwave and coffeepot were good to have in the room.

It was a clean, quaint hotel. The rooms are not 5 star, but still do the job. And the private balcony? Not so private. We were on the first floor, and could see the balconies beside and one floor up. Also, most rooms do not provide a great view of the water; the water is perpendicular to the way the balconies face. I would suggest asking for a higher […] room number, for instance 113 on the first floor, 213 on the second, etc to have a better view. The pool was gorgeous, never packed. The jacuzzi was awesome. Great continental breakfast. Knowledgeable staff. It was also very close to a lot of the shops and restaurants. About 5 mins to the beach. Read more

Our stay at teh Waterside Inn was very comfortable and clean! The hotel is on the water so every room has an individual deck to look out on the water in the evening. The continental breakfast was good, and the hotel staff was very freindly and informative.
