The taxi drove me to the door of Hotel Valentina and as we negotiated some narrow lanes, it was obvious we were in the middle of a huge student community. It was Friday night and we were about 75 meters from the street named Student Alley. Fast foods, coffee shops, cafes, pizza, shaorma, convenience stores, ice cream, beer, and hundreds of students […] out enjoying the arrival of warmer nights. You will be about 2 km from the famous city center and can get turned around making the walk. Just keep your eyes on the spires of the Cathedral and you will be fine - or take a cab there for 5 RON. After you have visited the squares, museums and sites of the city center, make an effort to visit the area around Traian Square. The hotel is Spartan, and the students and former students who tend the desk are helpful if not a little shy to exercise their English. Most can speak 4 to 5 languages. Breakfast is typical Romanian small hotel - boiled eggs in a bowl, cereal, juice, bread and a toaster, salami, two cheeses, cucumbers, olives and tomatoes. As one enjoys the city, thoughts pull at the heart. You can't help wonder what it once was and what it could have been today without the 45-year hiatus. small hotel but clean and nice, the only incovenient is the lack of the elevetor. the view from the window is not wonderful but in the neighborhood the are universities and so there are a lot of young people and a lot of activity. Breakfast is O.k and the employs are very helpful.

l'hotel and furniture extremely old and in bad shape, the head is not well cleaned and uncomfortable, the room without electrical socket, the breakfast wouldn't pass a sanitary check. Totallt unfit for business purpose. Shouldn't be listed among the suggested hotel. You should check the places before listing the entries

Das Hotel liegt im Hinterhof und kann nicht per Navigation angefahren werden. Ein Hinweis auf das Hotel ist zwar vorhanden aber nur sehr klein, so dass man es leicht übersieht! Laut Aushang soll es ab 7:00 Uhr Frühstück geben, um 7:15 war noch nichts vom Frühstück zu sehen, so dass ich das Hotel ohne Frühstück verlassen habe. nel complesso sarebbe abbastanza carino, ma non funziona niente, aria condizionata NO, servizi elementari scadenti o inesistenti, bagni che si smontano mentre li usi, praticamente non sono riuscito a dormire dall'afa, basterebbe un minimo di controllo camere e manutenzione. grazie

all'arrivo camera pulita e ordinata. nel corso dei giorni però non c'è la stessa cura. la colazione è ok ma non all'altezza di un b&b trentino... in zona ci sono locali e zone frequentati da giovani - è in zona universitaria. taxi a 2 min a piedi. un minimarket a 4 min a piedi dove comprare un minimo di cose che servono. zona comunque tranquilla, l'albergo […] non affaccia sulla strada principale. nel complesso buono, forse da trattare un po' il prezzo.
