Savic Hotel - Prague

Check in was a welcoming process, and the front desk person oriented us with map and overview of points of interest. We had a room with a gorgeous ceiling painted in the 14th century. The bathroom was modern; the room was very comfortable. The only small drawback was that the windows don't block out much noise and there was a drunk yelling in the street […] one night. The breakfast buffet each morning had many choices and was good. The best aspect was the location - about 5 minutes walk to Charles Bridge and 5 minutes to the Old Town square. Wow. After 5 cities in 14 days it was quite a welcome to walk into our room at the Savic ! Our room (the one in the Savic) was incredible. We enjoyed a suite where we could spread out and reorganize. Almost didn't want to leave the room to see the sights. Receptionists couldn't have been more helpful. Though I don't often stay in hotels, I liked the Savic. It's in an old building so rooms and layout quirkier and more interesting than usual modern 4 stars while recent renovations make for good standard accommodation and modern facilities. Clean, spacious room with Bohemian glass chandelier and side lights, marble and granite bathroom, wood blocked […] floor and beamed ceiling, flat screen TV with English language channels (CNN etc., comfortable beds,even a digital scale in the bathroom. Comfortable lounge area on individual floors. Tucked in a quiet side street - though Reception staff say can be noisier at weekends - a short walk to both Old Town Sq and Charles Bridge, next to a couple of small galleries and round the corner from an interesting Dominican monastery church - St Giles. Buffet breakfast in a quaint conservatory full of plants next to an inner courtyard, hot options prepared to order + cold buffet with cold cuts, cheeses, salads and fruit - set me up for the day. 3 young women covering Reception at different times - Mira, Lenka and Jana - all most friendly and helpful. 昼12時前に到着したため部屋の準備ができていなかったが、1時間ほどで準備ができるとのことで、チェックイン手続きをした後荷物を預かっていただいた。その際には周辺の詳細な案内をしていただき、部屋に入るまでにも周辺の観光を楽しむことができた。また、質問に対しても親切丁寧に答えていただいた。部屋は十分な広さがあり、バスルームも快適だった。ベッドサイドにコンセントがないため携帯の充電を少し離れたライティングデスクでしなければならなかった点と、窓が小さく裏通りに面しているためビューがない点が難点ではあった。朝食はビュッフェだが、卵料理とパンケーキは目の前で調理してもらえ、スパークリングワインも提供されていて休日の朝食としては申し分なかった。
