My staff and I stayed here for a business trip. My only objection is that there should be free coffee available in the lobby in the AM. It was available last year, but I believe they took it out because it competes with the Starbucks in the lobby. Other than that, it is a clean, updated and reasonably priced hotel.

Overall, it's a nice looking hotel. Rooms were large and clean and had all the amenities. However, when we went to take a shower, there was NO hot water. We waited almost an hour once maintenance said they had reset the boiler, and the water still did not get hot. And they never called us back to let us know it had been fixed. We left for the day to […] spend the day with our daughter at Pitt, and when we got back to the room after 9 hours of being out, the room had not been cleaned at all. No fresh towels, beds had not been made - nothing. When I went to the desk to tell them, the girl at the desk offered me clean towels and an apology, and that was it. VERY DISAPPOINTED! For the cost of this hotel, I think the service could have been better...but I saved on tipping housekeeping, because there was nothing to tip for. Read more

We enjoyed the clean rooms with a nice-size bathroom/shower. It's centrally located though a little difficult to see if you're not aware of the location. We did not try the coffee bar but noticed they serve a light breakfast. We usually stay at the less expensive hotels, but the rooms make it worth the extra. Our first night, we discovered a pair of socks on the floor (not ours). Our first day, we returned to our room to discover that only one bed had been made, and they had not cleaned the vanity due to "too many items" on the counter. We also discovered that there were multiple toiletries that we should have been given the first night that we only received […] the second night. They also tried to charge us for breakfast when it was included in the room price. Finally, we were there during major construction- while this was not an issue, I would have liked to know that ahead of time! The hotel is new and, as such, is in very nice condition. We were assigned a room next to the elevator which proved to be very noisy due to the elevator shaft being adjacent to the wall which the headboard of the bed was located. Also, there was a large group of hotel guests in town for a hockey tournament in Monroeville. The guests were loud, crude […] and noisy well into the evening causing a ruckus in the halls which made it impossible to sleep. We complained to the front desk clerks at sign-out and they apologized and tried to make things right, but it was too late. Our experience with the noise was not good, but everything else was good. The Monroeville, PA Courtyard is FABULOUS! It's only a Courtyard, but I have not one negative word to say about it and many positives. Like, .....BEST cup of coffee I've ever had! (Yes, I was shocked!). Super service, from Heather, and Heather the Manager, and Ashley, and Robert (tall) Kayla, and Robert (not as tall), and Kiera (the coffee-brewing lady, […] and the peoples whose names I did not get, the Head of Housekeeping, and the Night Housekeeper, and the weekend Maintenance man, and the maids and groundskeepers ..... everyone had a terrific attitude and lots of pride in their work. I travel enough to know this is frequently not the case. So stay here with confidence, this is a great, very well-run property, with lots of restaurants and services all around, and a Sheetz, the best service station in America, right by the hotel. In closing, when Heather #1 asked me how I liked me room, right after I had checked in, I truthfully replied, "No view!" (And truthfully, there is NO view to be had in Monroeville.) and, without missing a beat, she replied, "I'm sorry, all our ocean-view rooms are already occupied." with such a friendly, good-natured sense of humor, I knew my room was as good as any in the property and was very impressed with her customer service. This hotel is great - rooms were so conveniently set up - fridge and "bar" area, nice desk set up with multiple outlets at desk level (no crawling around to plug in the computer or cell phones), and there was also an outlet on each side of the bed (again, not on the floor, so it was easy to get to). Bed was comfortable, and the couch/pull-out was nice […] to have for extra space. The hotel itself had a nice lobby, and the breakfast was a steal. I'd rather pay for something great (hot bar, cold bar, etc. plus eggs to order and a belgian waffle station!) than have something free that I don't particularly care for. Staff was SO incredibly nice and helpful. The area has a lot of places to eat including some bars. And there is a convenience store right next door. Drugstore and grocery stores are also very nearby. It's Marriott Hotel! When i see the hotel first , it looks like a motel. But She have gyms , pool , bisiness center in addition courtyard. Besides free coffee and delicious-looking apples. Well, well, well....But the hotel is way out in the sticks. It's courtyards , traveler's resting place.
