The hotel's own website seems to understate its excellent location, as it has an opening into the main street of Sorrento just a short walk from the main square. It is within walking distance of the scenic old mill, the train station, the marina (with its outstanding seafood restaurants) and its stunning views of the bay of Naples and the hillside villas and hotels of Sorrento. The staff was very accommodating to our special needs, allowing us to leave our luggage and to use its restroom facilities even after we had checked out. Also, the price of the rooms was reasonable. Our party did not take the advice of the female night clerk who recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door; instead, we ate at Ristorante Delfino at the marina (which I also highly recommend).

Very happy with Hotel Sorrento City. Staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Room was very comfortable with the only drawback being the TV in the room had only one Engligh speaking channel (MTV...ugh). Excellent location and easy to find right on the main street near the train station. Very good breakfast and free Wi-Fi included which worked very well in the room. Highly recommend Hotel Sorrento City.

We were going back to Charlotte NC. From the moment tbat we steped into the lobby area, We were greeted, taken care of. The hotel management to the person that carried our baggage to our room I felt that I was coming back to friends. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in Naples. It was an outstanding short stay. What a palace.

"Great Value"
This is the cheapest hotel I could find on Capri and I was very satisfied. The hotel is very close to the main port (Marina Grande) and a bus runs nearby.

Very nice hotel! A good value in a great location with a very comfortable feel! The pool area and terraced gardens with sitting areas were well maintained and relaxing. The cafe at the pool had great food and drinks served during the day.

I have to say, when I return to Capri, I will for sure stay at this hotel again. The service was excellent! The atmosphere relaxing, the ammenities really good. I had a wonderful room, with its own court yard, and lounging chairs!! The music they played at the pool was da bomb! I love buddha bar, and it was perfect for getting sun, drinks and just relaxing, […] which is just what my brother and I needed! Francesco rocked the place. Really attentive, and polite. I thank him and everyone at the hotel for making our stay perfect!! I recommend for sure. BTW, if you are looking for a more central location, without having to walk too much, this is not for you. We did have to walk to the center, however, the bus transportation is good, and it's just right outside the hotel. It is soo close to the Marina where the boats arrived from Sorrento, or Napoli, that when I tried to buy a bus pass to take the public bus to the hotel, the guy at the window did not sell it to me! "Close to marina"
We stayed here because the hotel is close to Marina and we needed to catch morning ferry. Hotel was a walk uphill but not too long. I found the map confusing and had to back track. Personnel were helpful. We had to walk back to the dock for an evening restaurant.

A short up hill walk to the right from Marina Grande, as soon as you start to feel the climb you are there. Not a bad walk at all. Not much in MG but a short bus ride to Capri is where everything is, food, shops, bars. Good room with extra blankets and pillows. Private bath/toilet with lots of hot water. "Hotel Bristol"
After some of the reviews we had read we were doubtful of our stay but ended up being pleasantly surprised. Hotel staff on arrival was wonderful and helpful. Our room was in a great location; corner room with a large balcony and amazing view. Room itself was comfortable but in need of some minor maintenance ( tub not draining, lightsbulbs out). hotel confortevole di buon livello, accoglienza ottima. Molto vicino al porto, bastano quattro passi per raggiungere la funicolare. belle le terrazze, a disposizione di alcune camere. Unico neo, le pareti piuttosto sottili, che isolano poco acusticamente dai vicini. per il resto, da consigliare.

"Un séjour intimiste en tout confort"
Bien placé et charmant, cet hôtel est parfait pour un couple souhaitant passer quelques jours sur Capri. L'accueil est de qualité et le personnel est disponible. Seul le petit déjeuner laisse à désirer.

Sehr gute Lage, nahe am Hafen, nahe der Standseilbahn, nahe Capri-Stadt. Wenig Blick auf das Meer. Sehr ruhig, denn weit genug entfernt vom Hafen und von Capri-Stadt. Das Hotel ist sauber, die Leute sehr freundlich, das Frühstück italienisch. Der Service ist sehr gut. Einzig irritierend: Unsere Zimmer (Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Kochecke und ein Bad) […] hatten keine einziges Bild und eine etwas merkwürdige Möblierung. "Très Bon rapport qualité prix"
Nous avons passé un très bon Séjour à l hôtel Bristol ,staff très sympathique et emplacement idéal (à deux pas du port et de capri centre en funiculaire ) Nous avons eu de plus une grande chambre avec terrasse et une superbe vue sur la mer et le vésuve ...Nous y retournerons bien volontié...
