The initial room we were given was very small and the bed extremely un-comfortable. The next morning we asked for a different room and were given one with a much more comfortable bed. The location is far from the city center but is nice, safe and quiet. Breakfast was fair at best.

I chose this hotel because it identified a 24 hour concierge, currency exchange and easy arrangement of airport transportation. That set an expectation that was not met. With every interaction - fan, hair dryer, extra key - we were met with annoyance and questions. The room was adequate although tiny. But there was not a pen, piece of paper, or magazine to be found. The only trash can was in the bathroom and it was broken. It appeared that a prior guest had also tried to pu their fist through the bathroom door - with no effort to repair. The staff was nice, and the hotel was livable, but it's definitely a train ride away from the heart of London. English breakfast that comes with your stay is okay. Overall, the hotel was not bad, but just not great. Good value overall compared to most of the hotel prices in London.

If you have a lots of luggage, better not to stay this hotel. They have only stairs and so narrow. You have to plan to use toilet, because you have to wait for water to fill up. The floor is almost falling. It's kind of scary.

This was the worst hotel I ever walked into. We checked in and then checked out the same evening. They had us in a basement room, which smelled and was full of black mold in the bathroom. I did not feel safe at all in that hotel, so right after that, we check out of the hotel. I did not fly all the way to London to be treated like that, or be threatened by some crazy person. This hotel was what I was expecting. It was neither fancy or really run down. I used the St Georges' as just a place to sleep and it fit the bill well. The hotel should be considered a "just the basics" hotel. Our room contained only our three beds and a TV. I must say that the room was very clean. The location was about a 5 minute walk from the Pimlico […] tube station and about a 30 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. If you are brave enough to use the Tube this is a great location. We used this station to travel to all the main sites in London. It had a TV but this located over the door in the corner by the wardrobe which obstructed the view a bit. Within 200m of Pimlico tube station, the hotel was comfortable if basic. The biggest drawback was that my room was on the 5th floor and there was no lift! This hotel is about 5 minutes walk away from Pimlico underground station. Mind you that many week ends this station is closed (next closest station is Victoria about 15 minutes walk). There are no elevators in this hotel and 5 floors. So If you are set in the upper floors it could be a problem. A nice English breakfast is included in the price.

The hotel was only about a 10-15 min walk to the Victoria Bus Depot (where I was headed), but the wifi was not free as advertised and they didn`t have enough tables for breakfast so a number of people had to wait in the hallway before they could eat. The room was comfortable enough but to be honest the staff really didn`t seem to care one way or another […] if the customers were happy. When I mentioned that hotels.com said the internet was free she just said no, didn`t apologize, and when they ran out of tables for breakfast they started to sit random people at tables that already had couples eating. Very odd behavior in my opinion. For the price, I`d probably skip it next time and find something closer to the station. Read more

I paid a lot for two nights and have to say that their is not a good thing to say about this hotel. Room was old fashioned and lacks any facilities only found the note on back of door about TV remote and drinks on last day. No tea or coffee in room, bed was uncomfortable and had only blanket and through on it, TV did not work and had useless picture, […] wardrobe had crack in glass at top and the hangers were a mixer from what look like past guests had left behind. Bathroom shower did not fit in fitting correctly one of the towel rails was on the floor next to the toilet, no shower gel or shampoo, which at the price I paid I would expect and would get in a low-end B&B. I have never stayed in such a small room - 5 feet by 9 feet - with a hole in the bathroom door and shower head designed to trickle. The bed creaked and had blenkets rather than a duvet. Wireless internet is £2. THe decor in the room and on landings is drab.

Check in took ages and the guy behind the desk obviously didn't care. You have to pick up your TV remote at reception - but you are not told this until you read the information on the back of your room door! Expensive for what you get - not so much of a hotel as a series of adjacent houses.
