We stayed for one night in late December, after spending time in Quebec City, and loved the experience. It's quite close to the city (~30 mins' drive), but a world away: on a beautiful lake surrounded by wooded hills crisscrossed by trails for hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing (plus a great sledding hill). There are no elevators, so it was a bit of a haul to get our things to our room, but it wasn't too bad. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and we had great fun outdoors, then warmed up in the sauna and hot tubs (indoor and outdoor). There's also an indoor pool, and a health spa offering massages. The restaurant and bar serve very nice food (the restaurant is pricey, but the "bistro" menu at the bar less so), and there's also a basement game room, a kids' play room, and a screening room where they show movies. About 20 minutes from Old Quebec this hotel is set by a lake in the middle of nowhere, but that's how we wanted it. There is a little grocery store down the road if needed. The staff was incredibly friendly. The decor is a reminder of the place in the movie Dirty Dancing, with the lake, gazebos on the lawn, miniture golf etc as well as the decor. Great Resort, the location is not very close to DT Quebec (it is about 25 KM north) but the location itself it beautiful. The resort is surrounded by a natural lake with mountains. This hotel is a easy ride (under 15 Min) to old town Quebec. The hotel rooms had that new smell and it was very nicley decorated. The hotel was beautiful. While we went to Quebec to experience the old city, this was only 15 miles west of the city. Very quiet, relaxing (not that we spent much time there), in the country and on a lake. My only criticism of the hotel is that there is no complementary coffee other than one cup (with cremora) from the room's coffee maker. We did buy brunch there one morning ($13.50 pp) but were pleasantly surprised......food costs more in Quebec, regardless where you eat. And the bar served small drinks for the price......but small stuff. The room was huge - bathroom too, amenities really nice and very inexpensive. We'd definitely stay there again. The hotel has just been renovated with beautiful room as shown on the Hotel.com and their websites with firm beds, nice bedspreads, new carpet, HD TV and nice bath room The window in our room was without the lake view but it was a small bay window with an angle and few daylight but beautiful pine trees in front. The breakfast buffet was generous and […] less than $14 with fresh omelettes and crepes made by a chef like you want, plenty of fruit, yogurts, toasts, bacon, sausages. A dressing gown was supplied for everyone while the swimming pool was new with a warm jacuzzi, sauna, showers and even an outside nordic jacuzzi. What an experience to relax in a warm outside jacuzzi with the view on the lake and mountains but we have to get outside to reach it. The gown and sandals was enough even at -20C. We walked on the frozen lake as well as in a close park named Le Marais du Nord where birds came to eat in our hands. The hotel is just close to Stoneham Ski Resort and just 20 minutes from Old-Quebec city which is so pretty in the winter with its lights and decorations in the Petit Champlain district. We ate so well at the Saint-Malo on St-Paul street; a small french gourmet restaurant of 40 tables located in a 200+ antique building. The desserts at the Cochon Dingue were delicious with big portions; try their chocolat pie, wow. Read more

We stayed here to break our journey from Montreal to Lac St Jean. It is around 5km beside of Highway 73 or 175, so it is just perfect for us. There is an outdoor jacuzzi (kind of fun for winter, but remember to bring a flip-flop), indoor swimming pool + jacuzzi + sauna and massive children play room (equipped with games to cater from baby to teenagers). […] There is a theurapic bath tub in the room as well. If you dont want to eat in the restaurant, there are boulangerie/patisserie, Tim Horton and Subway, 5km from the hotel or beside of the highway. The hotel was gorgeous, with a great view of the river, beautiful landscape, there was a wedding going on during our stay, it was THAT pretty! Service was really good except that the restaurant closes too early, 8:30pm, it stops taking customers in. Although the bar next door is still open till 9:30 pm, we didn't get a chance to dine at the dining room. […] Breakfast is good, not too many items but fresh and well cooked and presented. The rooms are comfy, with a hint of country feel, not too pricey but close enough to downtown Quebec and Quebec city (approx. 30 mins drive). But it will take some time locating the hotel on your first visit, neighborhood is nice and quiet. J'ai bien aimé mon séjour au Manoir du Lac Delage. J'ai trouvé par exemple que la piscine intérieure était un peu froide, elle indiquait 84, mais d'après moi, elle était plus froide que 84. La chambre était très propre et confortable. Le service très bien. Le souper et déjeuner au restaurant de l'hôtel, très bon, mais quelque peu dispendieux. Il y a au sous-sol une salle de jeux pour les enfants (billard, ping-pong, machine à boules, jeux de poche etc.) Je conseille cet endroit à tout l'monde, la prochaine fois, j'aimerais y retourner en été.
