Hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. Led us to hop-on-hop off experience which we used throughout our 3 week trip all over Europe. Location was very good, within walking distance of everything, and bus service right out the door. Felt like we had a personal travel guide right at the front desk and left with new friends.

We spent a week in August in this hotel and very much enjoyed it. Personnel was always nice and friendly. Most of them are multilingual: good Italian,... German, and Russian; English was enough to understand each other. Two pools for children (0.7m and 1.35m deep) are filled with sea water, so there is no chlorine smell . Be aware that beaches there are mostly in concrete with stairs to access the sea, but this does not bother us much since we spent most of days laying on deck-chairs near the pools and refreshing in the sea occasionally. There are a few small sand spots though but they are quite crowded usually. Food at the breakfast and dinner buffets was of a good quality and diverse enough. We would highly recommend local white wine. Red wine is not as good as white one however. Local beer (forget about German and Czech beer) is also very good since the water in Croatia is of exceptional quality. It is quite noisy on Saturdays because of evening entertainments in nearby hotels but mostly quiet over the other weekdays. Overall, this hotel is nearly perfect for lazy summer holidays. Close to the Slovenian border on Istria’s west coast, Umag centres around a medieval old town built on a small peninsular. Large modern hotels, including good sports facilities and two wellness centres, line the coast. Although there is no beach, concrete bathing areas offer access to the water. Meget fint hotel som udgangspunkt for oplevelser i Istrien. Pæne store værelser, hvor vi havde betalt for balkon. Havde reelt ikke behov for dette, da det var for varmt at sidde derude, men det kan man næppe bebrejde hotellet. Pæn daglig rengøring af værelserne. Air-con virkede fint, men dog lidt støjende. Særdeles pæn morgenmadsbuffet med stort udvalg […] og pæn og hurtig oprydning. Der stod en kok og lavede friske spejlæg og pandekager. Lidt over en halv times gåtur til Umag centrum. Tog man bilen ind, var der to gode p-pladser, hvor kan kunne parkere for et rimeligt beløb. Fornuftigt med liggestole ved swimmingpool, som dog ikke var særligt dyb. P-plads til bil krævede nogle gange lidt opfindsomhed, men lykkedes hver dag. Ville ikke have noget imod at komme tilbage til hotellet. Read more

Továbbá fizetős az internet, ami csak a hallban működik, és ha magaddal vinnél valami ennivalót - az is (ez a 2 dolog volt zavaró). A szobákat minden nap takarították. Följande saker stämde EJ med information som finns angående hotellet: Gästparkering När det står att hotellet har gästparkering så tror jag att de flesta utgår från att parkeringen kring hotellet är till ENDAST för hotellets gäster. Så var ej fallet! Vid ankomsten till hotellet, efter att ha kört bil hela dagen, fick jag åka runt i området kring hotellet […] en bra stund innan jag hittade en ledig plats. Hade jag vetat detta innan jag bokade hade jag valt något annat hotell. Säkerhetsskåp på rummet I informationen står det att det finns säkerhetsskåp på rummet. Detta stämde inte. Det fanns bara säkerhetsskåp i receptionen och det kostade ca. 20 Kuna/dag. Read more

Zu bemängeln ist aus meiner Sicht vorallem das Fehlen eines kleinen Kühlschranks sowie eines Safes im Zimmer. Der Rest war für diesen Preis durchaus zufriedenstellend.
