WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY, STAFF WERE FRIENDLY. ROOM WAS FIRST CLASS COMFY BED. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL HIGHLY.

Generally the hotel was ok, although only few staff responsible for covering a number of areas. Main issue was around the heating in the hotel, on first night there was no heating in the room, entrance, corridor and breakfast room, although it was in the bar/restuarant area. Nice hotel which is clearly working hard to make your visit an enjoyable experience. The few staff that there are covering both reception and restaurants are very pleasant. nnoying that there was no internet for my entire stay. Will probaly stay again, but need internet, so this would be crutial.

Stayed at the Park Hotel for one night mid week. I checked in late at around 8pm andreceived a fantastic greating. A nice touch was to offer the full dining room menu instead of the abridged room service menu. Food was tasty and portions very generous. Rooms was spacious with a Queen and a single bed. Breakfast was your standard hotel offering except it was cooked fresh as your ordered rather than "rubbery eggs" from a buffet. Staff were very good and attentive to whatever your needed. Really nice hotel, very friendly staff, food was excellent. But there was no where other to eat in the town to make a change from the hotel. It was also a bit far away from other towns, perhaps that was why there weren't many other guests staying there.

The room was large and clean. Service while booking in was courteous and friendly. The hotel itself is large,modern and airy. There could be more attention to ongoing maintenance. loose door handle, chipped tiles etc. Breakfast was fair only. It was all buffet which guarantees overdone eggs. Overall though not a bad spot to stay.

I had never heard of this hotel and discovered it on the internet. We were visiting Knock for two days and thought this would be an ideal location. The hotel was located in a very quiet area. After a problem with checking in the first room had a smoky smell even though it was a non smoking hotel. However after contacting reception we were allocated […] another room. Rooms were clean and very big with a double and single bed in one room and 2 double beds in the other room. The rooms were nicely decorated although only being recently built some plaster was cracked and coming away from the wall which would require a little maintenance. We had a table booked for 4 in the restaurant and were very pleasaed with the standard as well as the service. There was a good choice of food available and the portions were very big.It was nice to see alot of locals working in the bar and restaurant and they were very friendly. There was a very good atmosphere in the breakfast room the next morning and the staff again very very welcoming. There was plenty of food available to have what ever type of breakfast you desired and it was very hot. I was able to get my flasks filled with boiling water for use during the day. Checking out was very easy and again the receptionist was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is good value for money. However if there was one thing negative to say it would be that the windows could do with a good clean. Read more
