My daughter's father passed away last July. She wanted to make her birthday weekend special and requested a trip to San Francisco. We enjoyed the hotel, it was roomy, clean and quiet. It will be the last time I will stay their. I payed extra for a good bed and it looked 25 years old just like the carpet and they say they totally remodeled in 2012. What a joke. Stains all over the lamp shades and couches the blanket had holes in it.

I regularly stay here but this was the worst experience ever. The sheets on the bed had skid marks over them it was disgusting and the maid would have known this when she made up the bed and just left it. Overall very good, I have stayed there many times. The pool needs to be warmer though and the breakfast really lets the place down, coffee only available to10am where is used to be all day. I was unpleased with my stay. The hotel beds were the worse beds, and we found blood on the sheets. It's like they didnt even change the sheets, it was disgusting. I would not stay there again. The continental breakfast was by far the cheapest ever. They didnt even have juice. Very poor facility.

I found the room through a call rep for this hotel website and even though I was planning on spending a little less but glad I didnt! The room was very spacious with a huge marble shower, king size bed, full kitchen with dishes and a couch. The lady at the front dest was very kind and helpful to me and also respectful. On the other end I was dissapointed […] by the breakfast as it was only coffee, tiny muffins and oatmeal packets (that was out)... also the pull out couch was not sleepable.. to many springs. If you expect a room with a lock and hot water in the morning shower - great. If you expect any other comforts - forget it. The 'grab'n'go' breakfast was virtually non-existent. There wasn't even milk for coffee - only packaged creamer. I get better refreshments waiting for my oil to be changed. The nearest restaurant of any kind was more than a mile […] away. When asked for directions, the clerk responded with "I don't know, I *think* there is a Burger King down the road." I didn't see any vending machines of any nature - anywhere. From previous reviews, I was expecting basic 3 star comforts. But the mattress was rock hard with a crinkly plastic cover, it felt like I was sleeping in a baby crib. The vent in the bathroom spewed dirty lint all over me after a shower. When we first arrived at the place (after 8PM), there was vomit on the walkway directly in front of the lobby, and on the entry carpet. I told them about the vomit, but as we left at 8AM the next morning, it was still there. As I checked in, someone was calling to say their TV didn't work and were told that there was nothing they could do..The warning bells started going off in my head right then. Even though my room was completely paid for in advance, they were vague about what constituted 'incidentals' that would be covered with my credit card # should the need arise, so we dared not use anything. I pity anyone who plans an extended stay - the place was over-priced and over-rated. Read more

The hotel property and inside were very nice. When we reached our room is when we were disappointed. The towels were scratchy, the sheets were not very soft, and the bathroom counter top had tooth paste stains from a previous guest (yuk!)

This motel was chosen as closest available to the Sonoma racetrack (still 28 miles away). Prepaid we arrived after 10 pm to find the front door locked. I found an almost unreadable, faded, number hand written on an intercom. A woman came into the hallway about 30 feet from the door and called out "can I help you?" seriously? Two overweight 67 year old […] white guys pulling roll aboard luggage. The room was ok, beds ok, bare minimum, but we weren't there for anything special; sleep and a shower. A breakfast was offered in the lobby. The only recognizable item that looked like you might want to actually put it in your mouth was coffee and some off brand candy/energy bar thing...and coffee. From the recovering meth addict that checked us in the the piece of plywood that is refered to as a "bed" to the fact that if you want them to clean the room daily it is a $10 fee, which makes you wonder if they actually clean the rooms any time besides when they get the fee. I suggest you sleep in your car.

One would think an extended stay hotel would have more space. Not with this one. About the same small size as a normal hotel room. Advertised breakfast. A complete farce. Coffee, packaged cupcakes (with ample sugar and hydrogenated oils) some not so fresh fruit and porridge. That's all. We stayed 5 nights at the end of a cross country road-trip delivering my eldest to college and this hotel was great. Equipt kitchenette, pool and hot-tub and coin operated laundry room for guests. Try to get a room on the 4th fllor at the back of building which has view of Angel Island.

The room itself was nice but I was surprised to find out that there would be no maid service during the time of my stay. I like the kitchen area, however I had to have someone bring me a fork because there were none. Everything would have been great if I hadn't found a bed bug on my bed the last day I was there. That creeped me out and made me wonder […] if I shouldn't have checked the bed area better when I first arrived. What they called breakfast wasn't much of anything. They didn't even have juice of any kind, just coffee.The staff were friendly, however the guests were very noisy at night up until 1:30am. I tried to use the fitness room but the equipment was very old and sounded like it was going to break. I have stayed at Extended Stay Hotels many times. This location could use some updating. The mattresses on both of the beds were old and sqeeky. The bedspread on one had a hole in it. The room was very clean, front desk service quite good. The only reason I will not stay at this location again is it is too far away from the home we were visiting.

MY STAY WS RELAXING FOR ME AND MY DOG. I ONLY WISH I COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER TO ENJOY THE INDOOR POOL. THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM BEHIND THE HOTEL TO TAKE MY DOG FOR WALK ALSO WHICH HELPED ALOT. I NEED TO GO BACK TO MARIN NEXT MONTH SO I HOPE I CAN GET A GOOD PRICE AS BEFORE.
