Boqueron Beach Resort - Boqueron

It was pleasant although room air condition collapsed at 1 00 am and could not sleep for the rest of the night. Also think that charging $8. 00 for a shot of Quantreaux is a litlle bit high. The vecinity of the hotel is great being so close to the beac and a place called el Poblado where you can ear almost everything that comes from the sea.

Very nice getaway for a family of 4 trying to relax and detach from city. Excellent location and personnel service. Need to work on couple of minor things like kitchen cabinets and showers floors. Very good toiletrees/beauty supplies.

My family and I have anticipated this trip since we recovered from a home fire. From the pictures of Hotel it looked like paradise. We got there and were taken care of by a young gentlemen who was fantastic. The staff at the cafe/bar was excellent! That's where the great part ends. The rooms were ok . We requested a suite which included sofa bed. We […] were not given any sheets so we called room service to be delivered dirty stained sheets. The mattress on bed looked as if it was burned underneath. The sink smelled liked rotten eggs and housekeeping did the minimum. After our pleasant experience with the young man at front desk it ended. The rest of staff just said hi and continued to ignore us. On our last day we did not get asked if stay was good or bad we were made to wait for room inspection. The weekends were mobbed with people smoking marijuana on balconies and making noise. The pool was cleaned by the middle of week. Before then, there was hair, bugs, leaves etc. Our keys to room failed on last day so we were forced to leave room 1 at a time. Security stated if we needed something to call front desk for "them" to allow us in. Felt like a prisoner. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not, especially for price they ask. Read more

It was perfect. The hotel has a private access to El Poblado and Boquerón Beach. Also is near Buyé Beach and Combate. The food of the restaurant was delicious. As u can see I gave it 5 stars, got a great rate on hotels.com. Spotless! Dream beds pillow clouds views to kill ask for room 606..506..406 for stunning views of both the beach and town. But all other rooms have great views as well. No need to drive to the cntr of town, u get a private key to a locked and secure exit pass the pool to a private walkway […] into town. Unreal. Boom, your in town. Coffee maker, ask for extra coffee pits at front desk. Fridge, microwave, dinner and flatware sets, hair dryer , just awesome, considering the non existing equivalent else ware . Overall we loved the area, convenience of walking distance to a nice beach and the town of Boqueron. Hotel was decent except for cleanliness of our room-one bed had mattress smelling of urine and bathroom had visible mold in bathtub area-an evidence that cleaning is done in a rush and most guests probably don't even pay attention to things that are […] not in their eye-level. The late check in and early check out times are very inconvenient. Also, signing your life away for towels and a key to the beach was a little overboard. Highly recommend this hotel otherwise. Locals will love it, tourists will be happy.

The 2 rooms villa was great, clean and with all electro domestics you may need. The location is outstanding...you are about 2 minutes walking from boqueron beach and from the poblado. The Piscis restaurant have very good food at a fair price. This lodging accomodation was fine for an overnight stay. The bar staff was very helpful with recommendations and suggestions. We stayed in a studio unit overlooking the parking lot when the online reservation had specifically requested oceanview.

Parking lot is designed for double parking. Staff called me at 1:15am Saturday morning to move the car for another guest. They drove over a curb and were stuck. Not what I want to do in the middle of the night, before a drive to Rincon for a dive trip. The room was decent, but the bathroom smelled like mold. It looked like the grout in the tile floor […] was moldy. The cleaning staff did well the first 2 nights but slacked off on the weekend. They didn't even replace the coffee on saturday. The mag strip room keys would quit working. I was locked out once on friday and twice on sunday. Security and desk staff were helpful with replacing the key cards and checking the lock for malfunctions. Read more

It was very good. I had a complaint about the noise from the street and I was quickly moved to another room. But what I did notice is that I placed a Note specificaly requesting a Ocean View room and apparently it did not show on the reservation. But other than that misunderstood. Everything was excellent. The facility is excellent. Nice rooms, modern, and very nicely adorned. The beach is beautiful with private entrance to resort. Nice pool area for adults and kids. Good breakfast next to the pool in the mornings. Secured area with guard. I recommend the facility. Pleasant peronnel. Very good experience.

The proximity to main street Boqueron was great and the building itself was very clean and well kept. The hotel had a slightly overpowering artifical fruit air "freshener" and we were mobbed by those tiny littlet black birds at the outdoor seating restaurant though. Overall it was a fine establishment, and we would definitely stay there again.

I had accidentally dirtied my sheets and put them by the towels on the floor an the housekeeping lady picked it up and put it back on the bed without giving me a new sheet set! We were very satisfied with all the pertinent personnel, the facilities and easy access to the Beach front. The only inconvenience we found, was the need to do our own cleaning of utensils available in our room(villa) like the coffee mug, dishes or glasses used. Don't be too quick to judge this place! Boqueron is a sleepy little town, but comes alive Thurs-Sun nights with tons of nightlife (so we are told). We stayed Tues-Thurs, so many places were closed, but we still loved the relaxed atmosphere and all the people were congregated in the one or two open restaurants/bars. This is probably the best hotel in Boqueron. The rooms are pretty clean and include microwaves, refrigerators and kitchen sinks. The hotel has a good pool and an outdoor bar. You also have free access to the adjacent beach. The village is a short walk away and offers lots of good restaurants.

The hotel staff were very nice--friendly and accommodating. My second time there. First impression of the room was ok but by the next day I realized it was really nice--just a little tight with two beds. Good location--right next to beach. Security is A1. I recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my visit to Boqueron Beach Resort. Everyone was very helpful especially the bartender Claudia, she gave us ideas on what beaches we should visit and places to go. The location is very safe and secure. The private access to the beach was a plus too.
