Good location, 10 minutes walk from Main Train Station. Should have more hotel signage direct to the hotel. Receptionist is not so much informative to the customer. So pity we stay only one night. Overall is good.

The Shower head was loose on the wall. Water temperature varied during use. The bathroom sink would not drain without propping up the stopper. The maid removed this each day. Worse tho, It was supposed to be a non smoking floor which was universally ignored. The hall ways reeked of smoke. The desk staff was frequently outside in front having a smoke […] when I went by. Novotel is a very modern and clean hotel. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The reception staff was friendly and glad to give us city maps and explain our way around. The location of the hotel is also great. A short walk to all the key areas to see (city centre, old city, etc). The breakfast is rather expensive, but as is everything in Luxembourg. […] Just be prepared to spend plenty of Euro in this city. This hotel was nicely furnished and very clean. They seemed to be very kid-friendly despite the obvious lean toward business travelers. Since we stayed over the weekend, there weren't many businessmen in suits - except the couple stragglers leaving on Friday afternoon. The rooms are small, but efficient. The beds are low and not very comfortable, but […] the staff did have the sofa bed pulled out to make a second bed for our son upon arrival. It was by far the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in, but we didn't feel cramped at all. The breakfast was excellent with hot dishes as well as cold. Fresh fruit, tea, coffee (with chocolate offered in a carafe), many breads and cheeses. German, American and French foods all offered. The staff speaks French but are fluent in English as well. A couple staffers preferred to speak only French. Some knew quite a bit of German. The location is great, although a bit inside the business district. It is necessary to walk over the Alzette river bridge to get to the main part of town. But, it's only a 10 minute flat easy walk with many shops and people on the way to look at. The Grund district is a 5 minute walk down a steep street. Parking is a bit of an issue, as their entrance to the parking garage is under construction. It is necessary to drive a few blocks away and enter in another garage entrance. And the parking fee is a bit steep. Overall, we would stay again. We felt the price was very reasonable compared to other hotels we reviewed. And it was nice and quiet being a few blocks away from the main town square. Very few tourists. Read more

We stayed in four different novotels during our trip to Europe and this was the cleaniest and nicest as everthing else in Luxembourg. Free wireless and nice breakfast. We had a very competitive rate for a superior room. Kids get toys during check in and there is a xbox station in the lobby. Great for family vacation and business trips

There is a parking garage nearby, which was not too expensive, so that was convenient. Also, this hotel is not so far from the bridge down to the casemates, to which we walked. This is a nice modern hotel with a great breakfast. Coming from the Cayman Islands I could not initially get the room warm enough for my comfort. The staff then brought up a heater and additional blanket. Walking distance to the city centre.

The hotel is in a good location. It is equal distance from the train station and the old town. The staff were very friendly. We did not have a breakfast but we did have dinner at the restaurant. I found the food selection quite varied and well priced. I gave the room a 4 as I felt the bed was too hard (but everyone has their preferences) and the room […] too hot! Yes it was still very cold outside but I am not comfortable in a hot room and the air conditioning only wanted to stay on 24 degrees! This is a chain hotel and is very much as expected, being sutable for either a family or business stays. Rooms are a good size with nice bathrooms. Breakfasts are very good with a wide range of hot and cold dishes suitable for most tastes. The hotel is a very easy walk (with bags) from the main railway station. Use the number 16 bus from the airport […] (1.50 euros) and get of at the railway station. Go onto the station and walk the length of the first platform and up the steps. Turn right and cross two roads and you are at the hotel - 6/10 mins at most - easy. Like wise a very easy & safe stroll into the old city about 15 mins with good views along the way. I had a one night stay here whilst on business at the European Parliament. The hotel was very comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff spoke very good English and were polite and friendly. I had a room service meal which was very nice and no more expensive than equivalent restaurant prices. Excellent Hotel with lovely large rooms and a very large very comfortable bed. The staff were all very nice and really helpfull giving us details about Luxemburg celebrations and where to see the fireworks etc.

Although the furtherest from the elevator, our room was large even with the sofa bed rolled out, with a roomy bathroom also. The hotel is about a 15 minute stroll into town, so while not being in the city centre, gives you some nice views while you walk over the bridge. Being tired in the evening we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, which was […] suprisingly good food with friendly service from the waiter- something you don't see much in restaurant hotels. The hotel is a 10 min. walk across the bridge from downtown but not difficult for the average person. The AC was very nice and functioning. The week we went was one of the best of the year. The morning breakfast was fantastic and well worth the money. It ends at 1000 and @ 0930 it was busy and there was a wait for a table on Sat. There was a private […] park under the hotel for an additional fee. The front desk quoted 26 Euro per day, but when I went to pay I was only charged 18 Euro for 3 days 2 nights (it was a holiday so maybe reduced rates, but be careful).
