Great getaway with kids. The hotel's amenities were really, nice and the staff was friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that check out is 10:00AM. We were able to use the facilities later and the front desk gave us cards to access the pool area, but I still think that 10:00 is way too early.

This is a beautiful set of Villas, next to the Hotel. It's not a great location, quite a drive to everything. You have to check out at 10:00 am!!!! So don't plan on sleeping in or spending any time. Nice pool. I found the pool staff wonderful, and the maids and maintence people were great. However the front desk personnelle are really not pleasant.

The Villa was well appointed and extremely roomy. The kitchen had everything one would need and even a convenient washer/dryer in the unit. The bathroom was large with a double sink, whirlpool tub and seperate shower with room for two. The unit had ample storage space for a week long stay. Also had a balcony with bbq grill over looking pool area. Everything […] was extremely clean. Although I didn't play, the golf course was right outside of my door. The resort tennis courts were plentiful and $20 per hour. We didn't eat on property so can't comment on quality of the food. The staff were friendly, efficient and responsive. Read more

My family stayed for New Years Eve and we all had a fantastic time. Favorite part of our week long adventure!

We went on Memorial Day weekend and this place was BUSY! We've stayed here before so we knew that with 3 kids, we wanted a room/suite close to the pool. We checked in around 2:00pm on Friday for our 3 night stay. We ended up getting the exact opposite of our request. I don't think our room could have been any further from the pool! When I asked a second […] time for something closer (not an upgrade), the woman at the check-in desk simply said "no, we're full." It was not full yet. She didn't even try! We stay at Westin properties often and they are known for their service. I have never been SNUBBED like this before. We made do because I didn't want this issue to ruin our weekend. What bothered me most was not that we didn't get our request, it was the way I was treated. The clerk wouldn't even look at the computer and TRY to see if there was something. And its not like there was a long line behind me either. I was just really shocked by this sort of service on the "first impression" for the weekend. I know this may sound petty but the "I don't care" tone from this first impression was shocking from Westin. We had great experiences the rest of the weekend and the property, golf course, pool, playground, etc were all in great condition. I will stay here again but next time I'm not putting up with that kind of service. Read more

We just came back from a wonderful 6 night stay here. We stayed in the Villas which provides you complete access to all of the amenities located at the hotel as well. The room had a nice set up and was adequate in size for two people (we stayed in the deluxe - smaller of the two rooms. Our favorite feature was the "quiet pool" located at the Villas. […] On any given day there were no more than 12-14 adults and no kids, although they have a very nice pool at the hotel end for children. The Heavenly Bed did not quite live up to its name but was comfortable enough just the same. We would definitely go back and would certainly stay at another Westin property. Read more

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms and pools are wonderful. However anytime I needed anything I had to be prepared to WAIT WAIT WAIT. I think the hotel was very understaffed. The pool and wait staff were very helpful and friendly. The front desk staff were a bit rude. Overall still a great hotel.

The Villas are part of the time share for Westin our deluxe 2nd floor 1 bedroom was very nice, incredible balcony, stay on the second floor, Full Kitchen and room to entertain. Great place

We stayed a week in late January. Had a TINY one bedroom condo that is in the timeshare pool. Nicely equipped. 2 small screen non-hdtv`s with poor picture quality. Quite with beautiful grounds with lots of water running thru. Problem with ducks and geese---poop everywhere! On one of 2 property golf courses. Note to golfers--guests get a discount for […] playing the courses, but if you call "discount golf" the evening before, the green fees bare much lower! Read more

Everything was fine once I moved to a villa where the internet worked. My only complaint is that that villa did not have a desk on which I could do my computer work, I had to use the coffee table.

Wonderful hotel room---typical Westin with "heavenly" beds and showers. We stayed in the Villa's which was nice to have a seperate living room. Huge balcony. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, mulitiple pools, and made for great walking. Found a great deal and that made it even better. A little bit of a drive to the gondola (which was the reason we came […] and it was AMAZING up at the top!). Only negative was watching playofff football on a standard TV and not a flatscreen. This was as close to bringing our house with us when traveling as we could get. Great little kitchen allowed us to snack in when we wanted and use of the villa and neighboring hotel restaurant gave us the added option of going out when we wanted to do that. Clean rooms, well stocked with essential items, and great staff.

did some birthday celebrating, upon arrival the room was upgraded to a Premium Villa quiet place, beautiful area, great decor, lotsss of room, relaxing resort spot, great for small groups and families. will return,

This stay was extraordinary because of the people that are part of your experience. There was not one person that I encountered during the 4 days I was there that I would not give a customer service award to them. From the shuttle driver that helped me when my car wouldn't start, to the guard gate attendant, to the groundskeepers, and personnel in the […] Bella Vista restaurant. Tried to get us to a timeshare sales meeting. When told no... they were fine with it. Like a number of people said, 10 am checkout is way too early.

Upgraded to the 900 square foot villa. Worth the money a very comfortable room for long or short stays.

very nice rooms....love Westin's style..went to plam springs in the off-season and felt the staff was not really helpful and not alot of the things were open..probaly better to stay at the hotel on "off-season"

The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel grounds were immaculate and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was that the 4 p.m. check in and 10 a.m. check out was a bit too stifling. I was asking for direction and they were trying to sell me a time share, i believe this location is time share condos, the pool is great. bathroom and showers need to be cleaner, not your standard hotel which caters to you....

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week with our 1 year old son. We wanted a room with a kitchenette for increased ease of feeding. It worked out great, and the hotel even provided a high chair for us in the room. The pool was great, and there was a nice pool for babies in addition to a lot of water toys and a water slide that we were able […] to take our son on (even though it was a bit scary at first!). The concierge was very helpful in suggesting to us family activities, and overall the service was great. My only complaint is that the room cleaning was a little inconsistent. Sometimes the room was cleaned very well, and other times certain things were missed (ex. garbage wasn't taken out, floor wasn't cleaned). The room was very clean on our arrival. Read more

I say 'rooms' its more like a mini apartment, fully stocked kitchen, dining area, living space, huge bathroom, double sinks, separate walk in shower & bath tub, 2 fireplaces, 2 t.v's, & patio doors in the bedroom & living room leading out onto a large balcony with table & chairs and a barbecue! Nice surrounding grounds, we overlooked the golf course […] and mountains in the distance. Nice pool areas, a smaller quieter one and a larger caters for all one, complete with water slide. Check in was straight forward & we were given a choice of room location & floor. We didn't eat at the restaurant on site, we chose to make use of the fully stocked kitchen & shopped at a nearby Wal Mart. Aqua Caliente Resort & Casino is a 5min drive away if you fancy a gamble & Highway 111 is a 15min drive for shops and lots of restaurants. Close to I-10 for a trip to Cabazon Outlets which is about 30 mins away. We have no complaints about this place & would return again even though we do like to try different places, when we visit the US. Read more

We went to the Westin with our teenage son and stayed in a premium villa. It was spacious and gave everyone the privacy they wanted. The units are nicely furnished and well equipped. It was good to have the choice of using the villas pool or the hotel pool and we made use of both. The workout room at the hotel is particularly nice. We really enjoyed […] the area and the hotel is well located to hiking and shopping and dining. Two complaints. the hotel advertises a basketball court which does not exist and twice our room was not made up by 3:00 in the afternoon requiring a call to the front desk and housekeeping. Our stay at this resort was very nice in spite of unseasonably cold weather. Our deluxe villa was very comfortable and well equipped and the resort property was lovely. Concierge staff very helpful and friendly. Our only complaint echoes what other guests have said about the very early check-out, (10 AM) and unusually strict adherence to the 4 PM check-in. […] Also wonder why there is a nightly fee for parking - in our experience this is only charged in large metropolitan, downtown locations. Wir waren zufrieden aber dennoch mit kleinen Einschränkungen für die das Hotel aber wenig kann; Pools hatten kein klares Wasser, weil es tagelang zu heiß war und auch nachts nicht abkühlte. Im Bad hatten wir Ungeziefer (aber auch klar bei diesem Klima) Zimmer für uns optimal, da mit Spül- und Waschmaschine.
