Room was fine, although kinda small. Shower was excellent...great water pressure and hot water all the time. Staff helpful in answering any questions re surrounding area or hotel services. Continental breakfast adequate although could use cold sliced meat and hard boiled eggs. For a 2 star hotel it was fine.

A good rate, clean rooms, friendly staff, and close to the metro stop. The down side to this is that rooms are very small, and the neighborhood (while not necessarily scary) doesn't give the Parisian feel that a hotel closer to Notre Dame/Tuilleries Gardens might. Overall, a good stay and a good rate.

Hotel was nice. Staff were extremely helpful, spoke English. Location was very convenient. Easy walk from both Gare du Nord and Gare du l'Est. Free WiFi available. Breakfast very simple: good breads and good coffee and yogurt and orange juice.

The hotel is located near the Gare de nord Rail station. That is the first convenience of anyone arriving by train. The staff is very friendly. If you arrive early they keep your bags for you till you it is time to get your room and when departing they would do the same for you, which is very nice. The Hotel is very nice, well kept and very close to the Gare du Nord station, which gives you access to all places in Paris. The only cons about the hotel is that wireless didnt work inside the room (I had to go out in the hall to get signal everytime) and the rooms are a bit tight. This hotel was inexpensive and close to the train station. However, the room was dirty (mold in the shower) and small. The television barely worked and the wireless connection was nonexistent. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in between train rides for a night, it will work. The pictures on the website were a little deceiving as well.

I really wanted to like this hotel. The staff is very nice. They offer free (good) breakfast and wireless. They are very close to Gare de Nord. However, when I travel I expect that the bed-cover and blanket in my room will be free of cigarette burns. The ones in my room here were not. Very shabby room. Single metal chair and uncomfortable bed.

Hotel was adequate and reasonably priced. It had free wireless but not much else in amenities. The surrounding neighborhood is not great. .The main asset is the location. Very close to Gare du Nord and Gare L'Est. would recommend it for a short stay if you need to get to the train station.

stay away from this hotel. when i checked in this hotel the towels were used by previous customer never changed. i stayed in this hotel for seven nights and not once they change sheets or pillow cases, bathroom tiles were molded. sheets and pillowcase are stained and their customer service really sucks.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Gare de l'Est (1 minute walking). The room was in poor condition: stained carpet, old, cheap blankets, leaking toilet, no shower (only bath tub with shower head), only three towels for three persons, so no separate towels for hand washing and shower. The first receptionist wasn't cooperative in […] getting us two more towels, it took us to the 2nd night to get additional. The internet connection to all four hubs was overloaded, i.e. login was not possible. Once logged in, it failed every few minutes and when it was available it was fairly slow (7Kb/s) - but the login problems and the stability were the bigger problems. The hotel was quite shabby and really needed some new carpets etc. Breakfast was indeed provided, but the food generally ran out long before the breakfast time was over. The hotel is near Gare Du Nord which made it very convenient to trains and metro. There is plenty of street noise. The beds were not comfortable. I stayed in room 502. The location between the two train stations was the highlight of this hotel. The friendliness of the women at check in was a plus also, but they told us our room would be ready at a cetain time but it was not. The internet took was slow when it did work, and onl worked for a short time. I booked my stay there at the very last minute, and got a horrible room. The room had two tiny beds with bedspreads that belong to the 1970's, and it was entirely lit with bare fluorescent tubes.Its one and only window was facing a very narrow pit of light between buildings (you get a lot of these in Paris), but the opposite wall was just 4 feet away […] from the window. All in one, there was just no natural light pouring into my room. The ceiling had a lot of stains and was very nasty. I briefly saw inside some of the other rooms while the cleaning crew was working the next morning, and they seemed very decent and clean, with large windows facing the street.
