The Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort is located across from the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Gallery at Beach Place offers entertainment less than a half-mile away. Las Olas Boulevard is near the hotel. The cruise ship terminal (Port Everglades) is 2.7 miles from the hotel.

Mediterranean cuisine is served indoors or on the outdoor terrace at the hotel's 6th-floor Ilios restaurant. Guests may also choose to eat at Le Marche, a gourmet market and bistro. This is a woonderful place to stay. The employees were all nice and concerned that our stay was comforable. The only thing that kept this place from getting all 5's was there were dead bugs in the pool.

We went on a Carnival cruise and we stayed the night prior to departure. I called hotel and we waited no more than 10 mins. For pickup to the hotel. The staff was awesome and our room was clean and the beds was comfortable. The next morning we had a wake up call and as promised the van was there to pick us up. The driver was polite and helped us with our luggage. When the cruise was over we was picked up and taken back to the hotel. We waited less than an hour for our room. We had to be back to the airport the following morning and the hotel had us picked up and taken to the airport. To some it up . It was the best deal in town. We look forward to our next stay.

Not a problem in any way with this place all staff from housekeeping, front desk, pool personnel, front door personnel, servers restaurant and lounge were thorough, friendly and more than efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone about to stay in Fort Lauderdale.

Everyone at this resort is so accomidating and friendly. From the valet who escorted me to the registration desk, to the front desk, to the bellmen, to the housekeepers. Bathtub had several hairs in it but other than that amazing hotel!

Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed at the service was horrible all the elivators were broken and for the product the prices were way to high, as an exsample a single small crappy waffle is $17.00. Plus there bell hops convince you to get into certain taxis that they are obviously getting paid from on the side because a short ride to the airport […] is $65, and they even said to the driver when we were in the car "remember this face, you owe me now. We stayed there for only one might but everything was top notch. Wonderful dining and there was a Starbucks cafe in the lobby. Will come back.

I say this because although the hotel is lovely with many amenities, the pool area had techno club music pumping so loud that we and many others ended up leaving and laying out on the beach. "Perfect ending to a sunny vacation"
My partner and I decided to end our 10 day Florida/Bahamas vacation on a high note by spending our last night in Ft. Lauderdale. Went on Hotel.com, searched for a hotel near or on the beach and decided on giving the 'Hilton Ft Lauderdale Beach Resort' a try. We had a King Jr. Suite located on the south end of the building about 20 floors up and it was […] perfect! At first I was initially wishing we had an oceanfront room until we walked in and saw the view which included ocean, cool & architecturally modern hotel south of the Hilton and wonderful views of the intercoastal waterway...spectacular!! And the service from the minute we walked in (which was quite late due to our late flight from Grand Bahamas Island) was superb during our entire stay and we had a couple of 'Room Service' meals (fast and delicious) in the wee hours of the morning. Our room was tasteful, super clean, modern with flat screen television and IPod docking station. We spent a couple hours at the pool which was crowded but staff and service was very friendly, fun and wonderful. I highly recommend this Hilton and we will stay again on a future return trip to Ft. "Tiny Room - Unexpected"
Our room was clean and comfortable, but it was very small. We were assigned a tiny room off of a private hallway to one of the corner suites in the hotel. This meant having to go through one door into the private hallway, and then through another door into our tiny room. The room felt like it was the "children's" or "in-laws" room belonging to the suite […] next door. Our neighbors, more than two of then, went in and out of their room, and through the private hallway, several times through the night; they also had loud conversations into the morning, and the noise carried well into our room as it reverberated in the private hallway. We requested a "room in a higher floor for a romantic weekend"; well, we got the 16th floor all-right, but there wasn't much romantic about a tiny room, with a tiny bathroom, with no balcony, next to a suite full of noisy people who stayed up all night. Next time I will make sure to insist on a "regular" room, not the junior room that is next to a large suite. Read more

We stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort and Spa during the Holiday weekend from 1/13-1/16/12. While the hotel amentities are excellent, the way they treat their hotel guests exceeded our expectations! As Hilton Honor guests, we requested a room upgrade, and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a large two-room /kitchen/spa bathroom […] hotel room with a great partial ocean-view including very comfortable beds, clean bedding, fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Since the weather was very cold during our stay, the outdoor heated pool (80 plus degrees) and two outdoor hottubs allowed us to remain outdoors. The hotel is located across the street from the ocean, and the surrounding neighborhood includes a large selection of restaurants for any taste. Any request we had, the hotel staff made it a top priority to fulfill in a timely manner - 5 star treatment all the way! We've stayed here every year for the past 4 years now. The Hilton Beach resort is like a home away from home. We get a 1 bedroom suite which is very spacious for just the two of us. They will provide you all your kitchen essentials (dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, etc..). There's several places close enough to purchase anything you need. CVS is within […] walking distance. A short drive to Publix or Whole Foods and you are set for everything you need. The hotel has 2 restaurants - Ilios and Le Marche. Le Marche contains a Starbucks and is located in the lobby - good for grabbing a quick breakfast or pizza. The only parking at the hotel is valet, not much other parking around that area - so you're basically stuck with that. The entire staff is helpful and friendly and extremely accommodating. Everything was great. The only problem was a little mold in the grout on the master shower. I am sure if I had complained they would have given another room. I was there only one night for a party though.

Excellent, well-maintained hotel. Very helpful stuff. Excellent pool, gym. 3 problems (inconveniences) we have experienced: 1) beach across very busy street; 2) only 2 of 4 elevators were working entire week, and when elevators come, they are always full. Even stuff says that this is constant problem with elevators; 3) expansive vallet parking for your […] car ($31 + tax / day). My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late September. Good location and comfortable / clean rooms. We left a gift bag in the room with two necklaces. The hotel checked the video and agreed they could see us bring the bag in the room and did not see the gift bag leave the room when their cleaning service left, however when we got back it was gone. Very […] disappointingthe way Hilton handled it. We were passed around between 2 managers, and 2 security personel. The cleaning person admitted seeing the bag, but supposedly did not remember what they did with it...The hotel took their side throughout the entire dispute. Also very disappointed in the hotel security...she was very accusatory and originally said they did not see us bring a bag into the room and then later when we met with one of the managers he told us security did see the bag in the video. Ended up getting a one night free stay the next time we are in town but will probably not use because of how this was handled. I expect more from a Hilton Hotel. Read more

We arrived earlier than anticipated for our stay, like 830am early, and within minutes they allowed us to access our hotel room with no extra charge. MOST AMAZING HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. I am literally speechless. Felt like royalty from the moment i pulled up. Valet/parking is a little expensive 30$ a night. Other than that, the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Awesome! Will stay again!

"Can't believe its a hyatt"
Only major hotel on ft. lauderdale beach that is not on the beach. Ocean view is a monsterous stretch - the ocean is literally a mile away. At night, you can not even tell that there is an ocean around. Noise from air conditioners is deafening. Bad smells all over. There is a sign on every toilet explaining the yellow tint of water - no matching signs […] or water color at the 2 other hotels I stayed at. This place is truly unbelievable - I had to check out early of a prepaid room. Read other reviews for pics of room/walls - these are consistent with my stay. Pool is ok but bar service stops at 6. Several blocks from the beach and NOTHING is in walking distance. Best place to stay is the Ritz because its across the street from the beach and next door to the main shopping/dining. Marriot is not walking distance to anything but has private beach - note that beach will not have bar service during the week. Atlantic hotel is about 10 blocks from dining area but has nicest rooms (all with ocean view) and across the street from the beach. Hilton has super nice pool, 6-8 blocks to dining area, across from beach. Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort. We opted for the 2 bedroom suite since we have two kids (ages 5 and 2), and my wife's mother was with us.
