      I was very impressed with my room. It was a single on the top floor, but extremely comfortable, extremely clean, and quite roomy actually. I had everything I could have wanted or needed, and my only wish was that I had planned for another night or two in Bath. The breakfast was just as good. I would recommend Oldfields to anyone visiting Bath. My only suggestion is that anyone coming from the train station with luggage, might want to take a cab, because the walk to Oldfields is uphill, though not too far.

    This is a great hotel, however, our stay was impacted by the lack of cleanliness of the room we were staying in - when we arrived back from the wedding we were attending there was still a lot of rubbish, including an empty milk carton, old tea bags and children's food, in the room from the previous occupants. We then had to wait 15 minutes for this […] to be cleared up - not great at midnight. In addition, there were hairs in the sink in the bathroom and a great deal of cobwebs. We complained the next morning and didn't even receive an apology - not great service! Read more
