the Suites are great dont book anything else its not a hotel with hotel services it is a vacation and condo sales office if your into a golf resort (only resturant and bar are across street in the golf club) im sure you would enjoy itGenuine Hotels.com guest review
it was really nice. everybody was great. the last night though a/c messed up so it was hot in our room. but overall it was great. we will definitely be going back there. hopefully by the end of the yearGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room, which was more like a large condo, was awesome! There was even a very large patio with table. Having a full kitchen was helpful to cut costs on eating out. The half bath was a nice touch also. Great Hotel will use againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Unfortunately, the bathroom was most of the problem. The light fixture in the shower was so full of dead bugs that not much light came down! Plus there was some kind of large bug trying to get out in the shower. Window in the shower sure could benefit from a good cleaning. The TV was green on one side of the picture and normal on the other half. And […] not much can be done with the sound from people walking above. "Wyndham Green Valley AZ - Nice little hotel"
We do a lot of 4x4 trails through AZ. Most of the time it is just one night stays at a local Holiday Inn Express. However, we found this hotel at a very good rate. We were very happy with the room. The included breakfast was excellent. Much better than most free breakfasts that you get. This alone made the hotel worthwhile. i reserved a deluxe room on hotels.com according to the wyndham, your description of deluxe and theirs is different so we got a standard room. they are extremely small and uncomfortable. wouldn't recommend them to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was small, one regular chair, poor lighting, frayed and dingy, but reeking of chlorine, towels. We were expecting a king bed, but got a queen with the offer to upgrade at hotel rates; how generous. A good breakfast. The staff was pleasant and professional but that did not mitigate the overall disappointment of our experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Canoa Ranch a nice stay"
This resort was a nice and very convenient place to stay since we were going to the Arts festival in Tubac. The only thing we noticed is that since it is in a retirement area, most places close by 8:00 or 9:00. The front desk had a list of restaraunts and places to go and we enjoyed our nights out. We asked for a king size bed with rooms adjacent to our friends. The rooms had queen size beds with rooms on differents floors. The rooms were lockout rooms from the main room of a time-share. The elevators were old and very slow. The TVs were old and the remote controls could not go right to a channel. We had to advance the channels one at a time. "Wyndham Green Valley, Az"
The interior was cold, sterile, and unwelcoming. The room had NO comfortable chairs, only a desk chair. The room was overpriced !!!!! The restaurant was not in the hotel, but was at the golf course, and you had to drive to get there; and the meals were very over priced. "Pleasant, clean, new"
The hotel is brand new; the elevator is possible the slowest in the world and it's only 3 floors. My room was 5311, but there are only 3 floors. The immaculate room was huge, the closet was huge, the bathroom was really, really huge. The shower head is only a hand held one and it rests waist high. I had a large balcony - nice mountains in the far ground […] but the view was kind of forgotten as the most dominate view was of a giant construction site just below - obviously not a permanent feature. My biggest complaint with the room is that there was no chair for reading. There was a little table with 2 chairs, but the only way you could watch TV is if you are in the bed. You are out in the country so unless you venture along winding, unintuitive streets you are pretty much captive by eating at their restaurants. There are 2 restaurants - one way across the street and one at a sister site some where down the road. Food was good but expensive - guess they are aiming for the wealthy golfing crowd - free breakfast had an egg station, bacon, sausage, french toast, etc. - good value there. "A very isolated resort"
We were quite dissatisfied with the assigned room. It was small, dark and overlooked a small semi-indoor courtyard. There was no chair other than a straight backed one for the built in desk. Lighting was poor. The bed linens and towels looked well worn. Other rooms were more adequate with balconies and space to sit and read.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean, the staff courteous, the bed was comfortable, I loved the walk in closet and my balcony where I had a cup of coffee and watched the sun rise before having breakfast at the clubhouse by the practice greens. The only thing that threw me off was the pink blankets on the bed, who thought that was a good idea.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Is there any place decent in Green Valley."
We tried the Green Valley Inn twice and were unimpressed and so switched to Canoa Ranch. We visit family in Green Valley regularly. Our entire family had a really hard time sleeping as the hotel was kept at 74 degrees and when we set our thermostat to 68 for bed, the air conditioner would turn on (it was January). The a/c was very loud. So was the mini-refrigerator. […] And, we could hear the people above us when they walked! It was just really loud all the time. Also our room looked out over other rooms! It was the strangest design meant, apparently, to let in natural light. But, to have 2 public spaces and 2 rooms all looking at each other over an atrium is bizarre. The highlight was undoubtedly the buffet breakfast. It is excellent. The front desk people were very friendly but that hardly makes up for the fact that it is impossible to sleep! "Clean, but not a convenient location."
The hotel Has a very time share feel. It is very quiet which is nice. There is no onsite dining or bar, you have to go the golf course, which closes at 8 pm. If you come in late, you have to travel to Green Valley for your dinner. If you are a golfer, I am sure this is the place for you, if your not, you should choose an alternate location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We selected this hotel from a list of four star resorts. It' appears relatively new and the grounds are under development, so the immediate views at present are limited, but at a distance it's spectacular. Overall and I'm sure down the road, it will be a golfers paradise. The spa and pool area were very nice looking, although we did not partake of them. […] The restaurant on premise is top notch, both breakfast and dinner. The staff we encountered during our stay were very customer centric.Of particular note is Alexis, the front desk clerk upon our arrival. She was very friendly and accomodating in helping us with our room request. When it comes to making a good first impression, she quickly validated we had made a good selction for our winter get-a-way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

From the moment we checked in the staff was so helpful and friendly. This was everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. I would go back there in a second. The hotel was as I anticipated, clean modern and will maintained. The biggest concern I had was the fact that you had to walk out of the hotel and across the street to a golf course restaurant, to get a cup of coffee and a piece of toast in the morning, further, the street crossing was not marked for pedestrian traffic and there is no sidewalk from […] the street to the restaurant entrance, save for wandering through the golf course parking lot. "An enjoyable stay in S. Arizona"
Just a couple of things I could see that might have improved my stay: the hotel has no dining area and refers clients across the street to an upscale grill which is fine for an evening meal but not great for a snack. I think a continental breakfast would have been nice. Also, there were protruding carpet tacks between the carpeted bedroom and the tiled […] bath that poked me (not seriously, but who wants to tiptoe around their room.) I complained, and I guess they pounded them down so it did not happen again--just seemed wierd for an upscale place. The most major disappointment was the golf course which was in poor shape and made me play elsewhere. The staff was fine and responsive to my concerns. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Our 1 bedroom suite was clean, comfortable and very roomy. Kitchen was fully equipped, bed was firm and comfortable, maid service prompt and thorough. The dining and living area was large and well furnished, with a gas fireplace and very roomy patio area. Our only complaint: the elevator was slow. The resort restaurant was clean with good food and service […] and reasonable prices. Golf course was challenging and in good condition, a great value. Overall, it was a great place, although the vibe was a little time-sharish. No one actually hit us up, but we did have to walk through a sales or time share office to get to the pool (actually, there were other outdoor entrances, but we didn't know that the first time we went to the pool.) "Great Time But Felt Misled!"
The Hotel was wonderful and the service was even better. However, the photo gallery on the web site shows incredible views of the lake and the beautiful mountains that the standard rooms can not see. Why? The standard rooms face either the parking lot, a dirt lot, or another building. There is NO view UNLESS you pay an extra cost per night to upgrade […] your room. The front desk attendant offered to cut that in half, as she agreed that the web site is misleading about the views offered! Thus, do not expect the incredible views offered on the web site if you pay for the standard room. Be ready to pay an extra to enjoy this view! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We booked a regular room and was disappointed in the location of the room. Since the resort was not very busy we felt they could have located us with a better view. If you had the TV on you had to raise the […] volume to hear it. Could not get the internet to work. I called the front desk for assistance but they could not help me. "Adequate for a few nights, but not great."
The woman at the front desk on arrival was extremely pleasant and had everything ready for us so check-in took just a minute or two. I knew the room was probably going to be one off the tiny courtyard other reviewers have mentioned and it was. People walking in the front of the building to get to their room or the fitness center could see almost our […] entire room if the drapes were open. The main part of the room had just enough room to fit 2 queens sized beds, a nightstand and very narrow walkways between the edge of the bed and the walls. The room also had a noisy refrigerator and a tube TV with DVD and VCR player. I think the TV received 8 channels of nothing interesting and definitely didn't have on-demand movies or kid programming. The bathroom was sufficiently large but poorly designed. For example, to get into the shower you had to close the door or step over the toilet. A large closet gave plenty of room for luggage and also contained the air conditioner for the room. We stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service in between was very effective. They replaced a light bulb in the bathroom that was out and did a nice job with the rest of the tiny room. I'm guessing this place is/was a condo or timeshare property until the economic downturn. Our room felt like the guest bedroom for a larger suite that was accessible through a locked door we could not open. The tube TV and DVD/VCR seem to pre-date the building itself as if they were recovered from an older hotel that got an upgrade to widescreen LCD TVs. All-in-all, I think the service level is there for a typical business chain hotel but they're making the best of a mediocre building. I would have liked a better selection of TV channels to help my young kids wind down at night or wake up in the morning and I would definitely like more room around the beds. And as others have commented, the sliding door to the patio is such a privacy issue the room effectively has no windows and feels even smaller and closed in. Not very impressed. I had a horrible room. It looked out onto a 12'x12' tiny open space. No view or anything but the next room right across the way. The curtains were barely opaque. So, if you need dark to sleep, forget it. The location is way out in the middle of nowhere. Nothing around it for about 5 miles. So, if you need a 7/11, you have to drive […] about 10 minutes. Maybe someday things will fill in around it, but right now, you're out there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.
