Awesome hotel! Very very clean. Best bang for your buck in Tupelo by far. Especially enjoyed the whirlpool and exercise room. The room was spacious and had all the modern ammenities. Our nite's stay was a comfortable experience other than the elevator was a bit rough and jerky to ride in. The breakfast was much better than others we have stayed in with the variety of food choices. We would stay at Wyndham hotels again.

very clean property, very nice staff. The location isn't the greatest for proximity to downtown Tupelo but it is good for those needing a quick stayover along the freeway. The drive into town and restaurants isn't that far from the hotel though. The room was large and comfortable bed. The breakfast was better than most chain hotels with fresh cooked […] scrambled eggs and bacon, a waffle baker, and assortment of breads, muffins, biscuit gravy, fruit and cereals. It was also interesting that there was a crockpot of rice and asian spices/toppings for the international guests. That is thoughtful of Wingate. Normally we don't stay in chain hotels after being in several before; they all seem the same. But if we need to again, we would choose Wingate over others. Read more

Quiet and clean. Breakfast was better than most - biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, cereal, donuts, muffins, eggs, hash browns, sausages, juices, good coffee, yogurt. The lady working the buffet was really working hard to keep everything stocked and clean. Very nice experience.

Some minor complaints--the in-room coffee maker leaked but was mostly usable, one wall lamp was burned out and the vent fan in the bathroom didn't work. I didn't bother to mention these things until I checked out because they weren't enough of a problem. A slightly more serious complaint was the cheap construction. I could hear the floor creaking above […] me when the person in the room above me walked around, and I could hear their toilet flush fairly loudly in my room. There were very few people in the Hotel, and no one to either side or across from me, so I don't know if the walls transmit as much sound as the floor/ceiling. I often wear ear plugs when I sleep and always take them when I travel because a lot of hotels seem to be like this, so again this didn't present much of a problem for me. The room was absolutely spotless and though the hotel-room air-freshener smell was very strong, it wasn't unpleasant. The internet connection was fairly slow for browsing, and impossible for downloading a 100 MB file I was trying to get. The download kept stopping--I just gave up after a while. If you are patient and just need the internet, it's acceptable, but if you need to download anything over a few megs, I recommend going to an internet coffee shop or something. Read more

Your hotel staff worked with us and allowed us to get our rooms early so my husband could get some much needed rest before his scheduled testing. Met with very friendly people but then that's all we ran into in Mississippi on our little trip. The hotel is a non-smoking establishment and the first room they gave us smelled of smoke. I went down and spoke to the desk attendant who immediately responded with a clean smelling room and couldn't have been more accommodating. He ordered the room be […] thoroughly cleaned and freshened before anyone else would be able to use it and we saw the staff moving on that immediately. The receptionist at the front desk was superb. She was very friendly and helpful. She helped us find a place nearby to eat. I overheard her helping another guest find their way to several nearby tourist attractions. She even had maps printed up to show the way.

The hotel was in a nice quiet area. The clerk that checked us in was extrememly nice and helpful. The hotel lobby was clean and very pretty. The hotel looked as if it had recently been built but I was told it was about 4 years old. Our room was clean (except for the chair in the room was nasty). The room had a fridge and microwave which was great! The […] maids were extrememly friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the work out room and the wonderfully relaxing hot tub. Breakfast was awesome. We enjoyed our view of the woods. The patio was nice too. We decided to go to the local movie theatre for a movie startinging in 12 minutes but thought this hotel may be too far to catch the movie in time. We tried it anyway and with 45 being so close we got to the movie in less than 5 minutes! This was an EXCELLENT hotel for the price. My teenager enjoyed the wifi. They also had a media room with access to 2 computers, free printing and copying. We had the same friendly clerk at check out. That came in handy, too. I plan to stay here again in December. Very convenient if using the one of the most beautiful roads in the US, the 400 mile Natchez Trace Parkway. Also useful when travelling between Nashville and Memphis or Nashville and New Orleans or are an Elvis Presley fan.
