LANDHOTEL GOLDENES KREUZ - Wiggensbach

We stayed at Fantasia for 1 night. As other reviewers have said, it's more like a bed and breakfast type of place, and it doesn't have a hair dryer or phone in the room like every other standard hotel out there (although I'm sure you can request a hair dryer any time) It's very adorable and cozy; the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Room is small, but very very cute! I would recommend it to everyone.

The staff at the hotel was amazing! I made a mistake on my reservation but they were so helpful and pleasant accommodating us. The rooms were perfect (clean, spacious, nicely decorated), especially if you get a lake view with the Alps as a backdrop. The only downside is that the immediate town is very small so restaurant and shopping options are limited if you are walking. Fussen is very close and offers more options. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Neuschwanstein (King Ludwid's) castle and would stay there again if/when we are back in the area.

Nice location, staff was friendly, they spoke better English then my German, that helped. Location was very close to town, about a 5 minute drive. Room was very clean.

Besides a great breakfast, and nice room, they offered the KonigsCard which gave us a free cable car ride, free luge, free bike rental, and free 1/2 hr. use of a Segway. We just missed a free boat ride on the lake. This card added more value to the cost of the room.

This hotel is a nice 10-minute walk along the river to downtown Fussen. It was clean, comfortable, and had a really tasty breakfast included in the rate! They also have free parking, which is always a plus when you have a rental car. My only complaint was that the wireless internet did not work 50% of the time.
