This place was close to the airport, the front desk was very helpful and friendly and gave us a Geneva transport pass so we could freely get to the airport the next morning. It's convenient and located just off the Rue de Lausanne which has a fair amount of restaurants and bars and is about 500m from the train station. Rooms were quite nice, the showers are a little weird with a half glass but overall it worked really well for us.

The room was comfortable and clean. You could not beat the location and the view from the lake view rooms!!! It was a very memorable and very enjoyable visit!!! I can not say enough about the hotel and the hotel staff. The staff spoke many different languages which made interacting with them a breeze. Great hotel! I do plan on returning to it in the future!!!!!

Wonderful staff, very helpful. My wife broke her dental retainer the day we were leaving for Zermatt, the staff found her a dentist, made the appointment, and we were on our way within a couple hours, they were so wonderful. The hotel was beautiful and the location was great. The expense of the hotel and Geneva in general is a little shocking, but rate we got through Hotels.com was amazing. Way to go hotels.com!

- Hotel Year Built - 1956 Year Remodeled - 2003 Additional Property Description - The Residence Studio Geneve Centre is located in the heart of the Paquis district, close to Lake Geneva, Cornavin train station and about 15 minutes from the UN, Cointrin airport and the Palexpo conference center. It has 30 studios measuring 183 sq. ft. 17 m2 . Guests can take advantage of free public transport and WIFI access. Check-in is at the neighboring Novotel, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are also served. Paying undercover car park available.

The hotel was comfortable, I received very good service from the Novotel staff that you check in with. The room for the most part was clean and tidy,... the bath had not been cleaned properly in some time. The hotel's location is good in terms of access - two blocks from the main train station and two blocks from the lake. However it is in the middle of Geneva's red light district. Managed by novotel, so access to the neighbouring Novotel made the stay so much better. Instruction to go direct to novotel check in would have taken some confusion away.not luxury, but clean. I will use it again

The "Residence" is located in the heart of Geneva's red light district. I was on the 1st floor facing Rue Monthoux, and prostitutes congregated right below my window, all day and night. There were also groups of young men hanging around for no particular good reason. They would drink and argue all night. So I found it hard to get a good night's sleep. […] After 4 am, when the bars closed police cars would cruise around the block, occasionally stopping young men, frisking them, and taking some away. Well I survived the ordeal, but I would not recommend it to any friend of mine, particularly if travelling with their family. If you like to experince the gritty side of a city, then go ahead, this is what you need. Otherwise, I would suggest that you think twice before booking this place... Read more

Helt ok, för priset jämfört med andra hotell i området. Klart godkänt för i stort sett allt utom ett stort minus för att köket/kylskåpet bara låstes upp mot en relativt hög avgift och att jag inte blev informerad om det i förväg.

The Residence is a part of Novotel Geneva. The room was relatively small, cheap for Geneva prices, very clean with a good bed. The Residence is in the center of Genevas Red light district and is not recommendable to families with children.
