"Happy, happy, happy"
Only gripe... Coffee maker in the room did not work. Hotel was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. We did not utilize the "free" breakfast choosing instead the nearby Crackerbarrell restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyed our stay"
Beds were comfy. Location was good. Very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. They had rollaway beds available which was a plus. The hotel is just a few minutes from Meramec caverns. Also... I must say the man who run the breakfast area loves his job. All items were filled up and restocked constantly and everything was incredibly clean. No complaints here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good stop for a traveler"
Clean, fair price, comfortable. Nice to have a fridge. Very good breakfast in a spacious, clean breakfast room. The man who was in charge of breakfast kept items neat and well stocked and also maintained clean counters and tables. Very impressive worker and very appreciated. Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean & comfortable!"
I was pleasantly surprised during this stay. My room was spotless, the bed & pillows amazingly comfortable. The free breakfast was good - all the regular things available. The eating area was so clean and the gentleman who was taking care of breakfast was friendly and bustled constantly cleaning & refilling. The front desk staff were very pleasant. […] Keep in mind, this was during Easter weekend - I'm sure they wanted to be with their families, too, Thanks for making this such a nice stay! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Traveling through for business. Close to the interstate, so I suppose it could be a good or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it. Room was fine, soft bed, flat screen TV... Close to gas stations, restaurants, stupid walmart, and of course the interstate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

It Was very clean and service was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
wasn't as nice as other hotels we have stayed at for the same price. We asked for a 1st floor room through Hotels.com and wound up on the third floor. That was the fault of the hotels.com. But the cockroach in the muffins and bagels that was the fault of the hotel. Would we stay there again? no! The Comfort Inn in Truth or Consequences New Mexico was […] fabulous and it was the same price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It was very comfortable. Breakfest offered a great choice of items.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Needed to change rooms because the TV didn't work. Lonnie was as kind and as gracious as could be with this change. The following morning while packing to leave the smoke alarm went off in our room. Even after being reset by management it went off several more times--sufficient enough in that when I checked out and walked out the door, fire, ambulance […] & police were pulling up--so that made it an adventure. This is not the first time we've been to this hotel, and it won't be the last. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel stay."
Clean room. Very friendly hotel staff. Breakfast was good, better than average, fresh fruit provided. Easy and quick access to the interstate, restaurants, other businesses, and Wal-mart (necessary when on long road trips) with no traffic noise. Very comfortable and safe hotel. I will stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel Staff was EXTREMELY friendly and accomodating. They always had smiles on their faces and the check in/check out process was easy and effortless. I would definitely recommend staying here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
After driving almost 2000 miles in 2 days, I needed a place to crash, wash my clothes, and relax. This was a perfect place. The breakfast was an unexpected surprise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Meremek & Clean with Breakfast"
Close to Meremek & Clean with Breakfast & the staff was very nice. I paid $100 + for Friday and $89 for Saturday. I feel like that is overpriced - but they are one of three hotels so they can charge what they want before they are all filled up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I was disappointed with the breakfast. I drink tea and the water was always cold, and only 1 kind of tea bag. I"m glad i had brought some from home. no bananas, just apples, I asked if their was any other fruit selections and I was told we just ran out. I was there 4 breakfast mornings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A quick stop overnight on June 29"

After getting a late start Sunday leaving Champaign, IL we pulled into this COMFORT INN SULLIVAN in this small town west of St. Louis. We were pleasantly surprised how accommodating the staff and facility was. Our ADA room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and we got an early start before 7 AM.
"great people, great property but almost no sleep because of dog barking"
07/14/14 teamster175 Marietta, Ohio
I hate to give this place such a low rating but I feel its necessary because of barking dog in next room....to start with I arrived early afternoon for a 10 hour stay large parking lot for semi trucks behind motel..property looks nice lady at check in was very courteous and friendly room was around $100.00 got to room it was nice clean, well lit AC worked well shower very clean and bed comfy ..when I checked in I ask for the top floor because I would be sleeping in late afternoon and leaving at midnight...everything was great till about 800pm when a dog in the room next to me started barking and woke me up so I called the front desk they said they would call the room..weather they did or not I do not know but the barking dog continued to bark periodically through the evening/ night...if they want to allow animals here they should be in a room away from others in my opinion I paid $100.00 to get very little sleep and then leave at midnight to drive a hazmat truck 14 hours on very little sleep..If not for the dog this would have been a great stay but due to the noise it was a horrible stay and I doubt if I would stay again which is sad because this is a nice place but I will not pay that kind of money and not get good sleep
"Nice and clean property, extremely hospitable staff."
07/14/14 springfield_gsogs Springfield, Illinois
We stayed overnight at this property on a Friday and were very satisfied with the way things went. We had reserved a 2-queen bed room(got it), which had a fridge and a microwave (were surprised). The beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was hot, fresh and the staff were on their feet to keep it nicely stocked (lots of guests at the same time when we went). The tv remote in our room was non-functional. Overall, a very nice experience.
"100% non-smoking, fabulous A/C, walk to Cracker Barrel"
07/09/14 Cabin m
The A/C was on and working when we walked into our room (nice in July). 100% non-smoking hotel. Room was clean and fresh. Staff was friendly and professional. Easy walk to Cracker Barrel. Definitely will stay here again. About an hour from St. Louis, so was a good stopping point for us. My peeve is hotels that put a fitted sheet on the mattress, which does not work. The Comfort Inn makes the bed with real fitted sheets. Nice. Lots of pillows (both firm and soft). Plenty of bath linens. Lots of cups and glasses. Free wifi, coffee maker, fridge w/ freezer in room. Guest laundry and ice on each floor. Very nice amenities.

"Better than expected"
01/25/14 Barry H
I stayed here recently because I didn't want to go to St. Louis or back to Rolla. I had never been here before and was uneasy. However, this hotel was quite nice and very clean. They also mentioned upgrades are about to start; this is great! Better to be a little early on upgrades instead of too late. Overall, a nude place and I will be back.
"Extended stay like being at home."

As usual, another enjoyable stay. Everything was above average to excellent and I would as always recommend this Inn to everyone. It has always been a pleasure staying here and I have stayed each year I have visited Sullivan since the facility opened.

The Lady at the desk was very good, she tried and we knew it was not her doings. No vending machines, we could not even get a bottle of water. I had to clean part of room before we sat down. there was popcorn on chairs. there was more but maybe things got fixed. I have stayed in better Super 8's then this
"Wedding Nightmare - Rude Manager"
10/18/13 Kayla G St. Louis
I booked a block of rooms for my wedding. I reserved these blocks several months in advance. At that time I also went ahead and reserved both suites, as many of the out of town family members (including my fiancé and myself) were coming in early from out of town. The people were extremely friendly that evening and even took the time to show me the different rooms. The first confusion started when I called to reserve one of the rooms for my fiancés grandparents. The girl who answered the phone did not know how to look up my “block of rooms” and suggested that she just make the reservation under our wedding name. I then called shortly after to put the name of one of the suites under my future mother in laws name (which the front desk told me was unnecessary, as my mother in law could just put it on her credit card when she arrived). That sounded fine but I also needed to extend her stay – they wanted to come down early to get everything ready for the rehearsal dinner. The front desk confirmed that one room had a check in on Thursday and the other had a check in on Friday. A week before the wedding my fiancé thought it might also be a good idea for us to come down on Thursday – so once again I called the front desk and extended my stay for the other room. They also confirmed both rooms were now a check in on Thursday and a check out on Sunday. On Thursday evening we were going to go straight to my parent’s house to help get things ready for the wedding. When we left St. Louis I called the hotel to let them know that we would have a late check in. Once again they confirmed that was fine and that our rooms would be held. That evening (about 8pm) my phone rings and it is the hotel… they are calling because they wanted to confirm that I had multiple rooms in my name with overlapping stays. I said yes that is correct – the two suites for tonight through Sunday and the king room for Saturday. Then at this point it was the first time that she told me I only had ONE suite. And that the other suite had been booked. Keep in mind this is 2 days before my wedding – I remained very calm and simply asked if there were any other rooms available tonight as we were in town and needed somewhere to stay. When we arrived at the hotel the girl that evening was very helpful and gave us a discount on the room for that night. However the next day the manager Paulette called our room and said she needed to speak to us. I had to go to the hall to get things ready but my mother in law and fiancé went to talk to her. Paulette was VERY rude to them and told them there was nothing that she could do and that I must have NEVER made the reservation in the first place. (even though I had talked to several different people who confirmed I had both rooms and made changes to these rooms). If you are just booking one room for one night… maybe you’ll get lucky and it will all work. But if you have a block or multiple rooms – I suggest writing down a name, date and time every time you speak to the front desk.
