not happy with bed comfort....very clean room.....day worker on May 5th was excellent and very nice anf friendly.....not so much the one that checked me in....got on to my boys for opeinning the door to workoarea....I am the father I discipline them

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room had just been remodeled - great materials were used, but they were poorly installed. The bath was very poorly done. Toilet seat was too small for the toilet, a piece of copper tubing was wedged under the toilet to 'level' it and gobs of silicon caulking everywhere & on everything. A sign in the hall said it […] was a no smoking hotel but our room with the new carpet (that was wrinkled) and new fabrics smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I was staying here to take the bar exam...I feel a little mislead from the average 4.3/5 rating that other users have given this place. Perhaps it was just my experience. For one, the room was constantly muggy/humid. Not sure if this was a problem with the AC or if there was a water leak but it was kinda uncomfortable. Also the shower was kinda weird. […] Usually they have a tub/shower at alot of place but this was just a shower where there wasn't any sort of separation from the bathroom floor and the shower floor....so of course there was water everywhere after wards...yuck! Also...the free breakfast was SO SO...the scrambled eggs tasted fake... OH and then there's this...customer service. I had originally booked the room for just me and reserved a king size bed...then my friend decided to join so I changed the reservation for a double and the expedia people charged me an extra $100...whatever. Then i get there and ask them for an extra room card and they make this BIG deal about it. OHH there's another person staying there and you said there was only one....WELL what did you think changing the bed from a king to a double meant??? The lady at the front desk made a big deal about this and wanted to charge me again....finally I explained it to her in a way she could understand. Overall it wasn't the WORST place i've ever stayed...but c'mon i paid $500 for 4 nights...i expected a bit more. Read more

I booked my stay to allow me Bar Exam at the Pasadena Convention Center without having to commute in Houston traffic. When I booked, I specifically looked for high-speed internet service so I could continue to review for the exam while I was there. Unfortunately, the "high-speed" internet access was anything but. Well, it's a typical modern day Hotel - pretty shabbily constructed - you could see the hallway through the 1/2" gap between the entry door and its frame. The tile in the bathroom (like all modern day cheap built Hotels) was separating from the floor and was cracked and had some of the ugliest attempts at trimming out ever. Hope you're not sitting on […] the toilet when someone opens the door of the bathroom because you will get your knees and toes amputated - terrible layout, but I've seen same exact layout at other places -- door almost skims the front of the toilet bowl! The bathroom sink has an oval shape that sticks out of the sink and when you lean over the sink for anything that bowl shape hits you right in the gut - terrible design -obviously the architect has never tried it out! For a newer hotel this location was poorly constructed. Suite was very roomy but was poorly decorated. Felt like I was in a hospital waiting room. Very little art no the wall, not very warm feeling furniture, cordless phone in the living room area was dead with the power cords all over the place. Bed room was nicer but still needed more then it offered. […] Bathroom had loose tiles and vanity was pathetically built. Wet bar area has loose tiles, mini fringe was making a loud ticking sound all night. I’ve paid less in nicer areas of town and had a nicer room for the price. the staff were very friendly.... but that was about as good as it got! people were running up and down the halls at all hours of the night, you could hear conversations thru the walls and the worst of it was i woke up with roaches crawling on me in the middle of the night!!!

We've traveled coast to coast this summer...our stay at this hotel was one of the best our whole trip. Beds were perfect, room was huge, comfortably furnished and shiny clean. The staff was helpful and friendly...the pool was clean and a great temperature. For a travel stop it was just a great pick!

The room was more than I expected with a lounge/den area complete with pull out couch, armchairs, and TV. Only improvement I seen from my stay would be softer mattress. It was almost like sleeping on the floor.

Stayed for two days, the staff is very kind and helpful,they go out of their way to please you. breakfast was very good,altough i wished breakfast bar to stay a little longer(they serve it til 9:00 am). i liked the gym(with tv!!!),it's a small gym but it was big enough for me. The pool is very clean and the jacuzzi very relaxing.
