The hotel staff and facilities are excellent, the breakfast buffet every morning has a delectable spread, and the spa is well done up. Front desk staff had been very helpful in helping us navigate the city and with excursions/activities.

Good business hotel. The local working ladies are everywhere, but I think that is the case in many hotels in Dubai. Food was good at restaurants and service was good.

I stayed at the Fairmont for one night only and asked for a room with a great view. I certainly got that. I was on the 31st floor in a corner room and the windows gave a view across the Dubai skyline. Was great! I also used the gym and the pool area which was excellent by any hotel standards. Well worth a visit.

Its all you want and more for a business trip. Location is perfect if you are going to the trade center, exhibition center. has everything you need. Location is not ideal for tourists, is far from everything and all attractions, however it is next to the metro station.

Yes, it's beautiful. Yes, it's 4-star. Yes, the rooms are large. Yes, amenities aboud. But those phrases could easily describe any non-budget hotel in Dubai. The only discernable difference between the Fairmont and its competitors is the Fairmont's high room rate. It is as if the Fairmont's mangagement/ownership are in denial regarding the diminution […] that Dubai has suffered as a regional business hub. The low occupancy rate during my stay seemed to say: "Sorry, Fairmont! 2007 ended three years ago!" I, for my part, only selected the Fairmont because I thought the chasmic difference in price between it and its competitiors must surely have portended some great benefit. Alas, it did not. Mind you, none of the foregoing is to suggest that the Fairmont Dubai is a bad hotel. It is, as are its competitors, an excellent property. Indeed, in most other cities of the world, absent this pesky financial crisis/recession, the Fairmont would easily warrant the high rates that it seeks. But this is Dubai in autumn 2010, and the Fairmont ignores that reality at its peril. I could go on about the lack of breakfast, non-access to the business center, separate fee for the gym, etc., but, as we say in the States, "You get the picture." Read more

Fairmont surprised us with the extraordinary service at the hotel. The hotel is well equipped to think of all items a guest would need through the stay. ATtention to detailing is good, comfortable beds. All in all a good deal and a great place to stay.

The Hotel was very good, but the dinner at Yaldraza!!! restaurant was a disaster. I have no idea how Fairmont allowing this kind of low level musci. it is almost a prostutions place! If the hotel likes to continues the tradtion then this restuarant should be removed

We stay here for 7 days, and The Fairmont is a lovely big 5 star hotel, checking in was easy, and we were in our room within 10 mins of arrival. The swimming pools were great even though the views our now dominated by building sites! The hotel has a bar on the ground floor but it is very expensive, but thats the norm for hotel bars in Dubai. The metro […] is 30 secs away, and is a wonderful way to travel around, safe, clean on time, and cheap ! If you want to use the Internet (Wi-Fi) in the hotel it is so expensive, that it will take your breah away, however, you can get free wi-fi if you sign up to there loyalty program, just fill out a form at reception (its free) and enjoy the wonders of the world wide web ! If you can get a B&B package please go for it as the food like all Dubai hotels is over priced, we went to the local waitrose and stocked up on breakfast goodies. Read more

The hotel and pool area was great. The only thing that was off putting was the cost of drinks at the bar. We paid £55 for 2 glasses of champagne which shocked us! Dubai is very expensive now, especially in hotels. The pool bar food was not too bad but still quite pricey.

Hotellets beliggenhet er i Financial District, så hvis det er sjø og badetur du er på utkikk etter ville jeg valgt et annet. Er det shopping og party derimot er det helt perfekt. Ligger 5 minutter unna Dubai Mall og har både Circ de Soleil og Cavalli Club Dubai i underetasjen. Kanskje de 2 beste nattklubbene i Dubai akkurat nå.
