The location is top. Right in the middle of Pienzo. Parking is a bit a problem. Theres a valed parking, but i you prefer to park by your self it's sometimes not easy. The rooms are ok, nothing fancy. Bathrooms need a update.

We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Such a unique, beautiful setting - perfect for a romantic getaway. We had a four day stay. Our first day we were given a room with not a great view - basically of an alley. We asked if there was another room available and were told that they were full that night but would be able to do something the […] next morning. We ended up the next day in a beautiful room with a phenomenal view of the valley and mountains. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and there is a lovely terrace restaurant with very good food. The staff was very nice. There is a lovely pool area with umbrellas and lounge chairs that was not crowded. We definitely would stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. Read more

The hotel is lovely, with a nice terrace garden and beautiful views of the valley. They had and excellent modern art exhibit in the court yard and the indoor dining room. The hotel is in the center of the old town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Rude reception, dust bunnies the size of tumble weed and no air conditioning after 10 PM makes this an ideal place to send someone you don't like on vacation. The unfortunate truth is, this location could not be better. It is set smack in the middle of Pienza with amazing views from their garden and restaurant areas.

There was adequate free parking around the hotel in Oct. It is a great central area to explore from and good restaurants in town. The boiler broke down during our visit but was quickly repaired. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and could be eaten inside or out (phenomenal views) but the coffee was poor (cappuccinos were good).

If you have never stayed in a small quite Tuscan village/hotel this one will more than meet your expectations. It is more than 600 years old but great ambience, upgraded bathrooms and fantastic views of the Tusscan country side. Pay the extra for a room with a valley view, it is well worth the money. Beautiful set up. The garden and the pool is an extra! Unfortunately the bathroom needs to be updated, the shower is only covered with a curtain, when taking a shower the hole bathroom is flooded!! The bathroom sink had absolutely no water pressure. The reception area was unmaned a couple of times, we had to get the key to our room ourselves in the […] backroom! Ottimo sia per la terrazza con vista sulla Val d'Orcia dove fare colazione o cenare o prendere qualcosa al bar. Perfetto per la posizione (in pieno centro storico a 100 metri dalla cattedrale). Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ausgezeichnet. Der Pool gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet gut bestückt und die Aussicht von der Frühstücksterrasse einmalig. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Lage im Zentrum sehr angenehm - das Zimmer war ruhig.

Het meiste op de receptie was ronduit onbeleefd, we vroegen oa waar de lift was en toen vertelde ze ons dat alles op het gelijkvloers lag, tot bleek dat onze kamers op het tweede verdiep waren en er GEEN lift was ! Het andere personeel was wel vriendelijk !

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem ehemaligen Kloster in der Altstadt von Pienza. Es verfügt über eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit Blick in die Toscana. Pienza ist hübsch (wenn auch während des Tages von Touristen belagert) und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Streifzüge ins Umland. Das wäre genügend Potenzial, um dort ein sehr ansprechendes 4*-Boutique-Hotel […] zu betreiben. Dieses Potenzial wird aber nicht genutzt. Das Haus müsste dringend einer Sanierung unterzogen werden, die Möbel müssten mit Hilfe eines kompetenten Innenarchitekten erneuert, der Service erheblich verbessert, d.h. kompetenter, motivierter, freundlicher werden. Das heute gebotene Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unbefriedigend. Wir raten vom Besuch dieses Hotels ab. Read more

Nydelige rom, flott utsikt over sjøen og solnedgang. Personale var usedvanlig serviceinnstilt og hyggelige. Rene håndklær til stranden hver dag. Kaffe på rommet hver morgen. Jeg glemte igjen mobilladeren på rommet og de sendte den uoppfordret til Norge. Rolig atmosfære til tross for nær beliggenhet til byen.
