We had a group event at this property and found the team to be outstanding, the service excellent and the food amazing. Safet, the AGM was available at a moments notice. Carmen attended to our every need and made our guests feel special.Great location and excellent choice for smaill meetings and events.

We had stayed at another hotel on the way to pick up our daughter from college, and on the return stayed here. It was light years better but also $50 more expensive. Still probably would choose this over the other.

The staff were excellent. Hotels.com had given Hilton Garden Inn the wrong date, which could have been a big problem. I had my email from hotels.com which showed the date I was supposed to stay. One phone call later, the staff had cleared up the problem and were handing me the room keys as I was hanging up the phone. Very impressed with the staff.

The girl that checked us in was extremely nice and helpful. The fitness center treadmills and ellipticals had personal TV's on them and they had yoga balls and a full dumbbell set. If I'm ever in Tuscaloosa again, I will definitely stay here.

This hotel is overpriced. The common areas such as the hallways and elevator were dirty and weren't vacuumed. The rooms were fairly clean but the beds were made very sloppily with the dust ruffles stuck in the mattress and the sheets and pillow cases wrinkled. The bathrooms were in very poor condition. The hotel was noisy. Seemed like my room was in the hallway with the volume of noise from inside the hotel. Bright and early both mornings the work crew for an adjacent hotel began replacing the roof. Trucks backing up beeping and nail guns first thing. Quality hotel as always just this stay seemed different.

This hotel is past it's prime. The bathroom grout was stained dirty, the carpet was old and stained and the furniture was well worn. Overall nothing was wrong that made me not stay there however it is VERY overpriced for the quality.

The hotel staff was not friendly or helpful because I did not book my reservation directly with them. Any questions that wanted to refer me back to on-line booking. The night shift was extremely rude. There was one evening shift person who was of assistance - Eric. I did not get room service (clean towels) he managed to get a rude housekeeper to come […] and assist. The air was out in the elevators and hallways. It was extremely hot. My last stay the internet was not working. I explained I had work to complete they revealed this information after the booking. It was amazing! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. We had been packed a cooler of food from our reception, but had no utensils. The staff from the room service/bistro provided us a tray with not only plates and forks, but full silverware, condiments, and even mints. I can't wait to find an excuse to stay with you again!

First day our room was not cleaned at all. We receoved fresh towels when we called the reception. Second day no coffee pot or cups. We got complementary coffee but following day again no cups or coffee pot. Glasses and cups from room servifce were left dirty on the counter during the entire stay. Otherwise not a bad place to stay.

I would not recommend eating the breakfast at the hotel as the restaurant staff was seen leaving the back of the house (where the food is prepared) several times to go to his car and the hotel front desk. Make sure your mattress has a mattress pad because they will try to just put a single sheet on the bed which I find a little weird. They did not double pillowcase the pillows either. Thoughtful staff, and clean comfortable accommodations. My husband and I stayed while visiting nearby family after major tornadoes hit the area. Hotel weathered the storm with no damage. Great pool area and clean, well maintained hot tub! We will stay here again when visiting the area.

This hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable with a good continental breakfast. They even offer free cookies. We had stayed, a few weeks prior to this, in a resort hotel in another state and the Hilton Garden Inn has them beat with amenities and pleasantries for half the price.

We arrived after 8:00, so the best available with a queen bed was a handicap accessible room. Everything about the room was great; the queen bed was very comfortable. The closet, however, had two levels of shelves and rods. Being 6'-2" tall, my shirts would either touch the floor, or hangover the lower rod.

The main problem with this hotel is that the staff seem like the could care less if we were there. I have had better stays in hotels that I have paid less more for. The hot tub didn't work and when we reported it they said they didn't know it wasn't working but to our knowledge they did nothing about it. The parking lot leaves something to be desired […] too. I had a messed up ankle when we checked in and my partner had to move the car for me get in it to leave since the cars had to be parked so close to each other. When we were leaving a member of the house keeping staff was the only one who thanked up and wished up a good day.
