We enjoyed our stay at the Wicker Park Inn and will definitely return in the future. Great location to restaurants and shops. it was easy to find parking in the neighborhood. Breakfast was a nice treat.
"Calm, convenient, pretty in Wicker Park"

My college-age son and I stayed in the 'Chicago' room for two nights as I was helping him move into an apartment in the area for his second year. It was a great choice for our needs -- both beds very comfortable, easy access for two people operating independently, privacy and space. The breakfast offerings were delicious, and the refrigerator with juice and water(open to guests) was also helpful. It is an interesting neighborhood and enabled me to have an enjoyable (not just hectic and helpful) visit. The people staffing the Inn are attentive and nice. Keep in mind that the Chicago room is adjacent to the train track. It turned out not to bother me -- in fact, the little back porch was a fun place to sit as the train went by -- but it would be a factor for some. If I were to go back with my husband, I'd investigate the other rooms as he's a sensitive sleeper.
"Chic b&b; great service"

Enjoyed Wicker Park B&B - have stayed there twice. Once in the Wicker Park room, which I highly recommend. Large and comfortable. Only drawback is ground floor windows so you have to close the shades while dressing and miss the greenery. Stayed at the 3 apartment across the street another time and did not enjoy it as much. No breakfast was furnished there and the bedroom shutters do not shut out the street lights or noise from passers-by at night. Location is perfect if you are visiting Wicker Park!
"Very Comfortable and Convenient"

Wicker Park Inn is ideally situated for an easy Chicago stay. We had street parking right outside the Inn and were just blocks from two different rail stations. Just minutes into downtown Chicago. The neighborhood around the Inn was pleasant and had a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from. We were on our way to Iowa after Chicago and the freeway access was easy as well. Our room was spacious and we were treated warmly by our hostess. We enjoyed visiting with other guests and will definitely stay here again when we travel to Chicago.
"Cute and quiet."
In a great area. You can walk to a bunch of restaurants or take a short taxi ride. The room we were in was right by the front door and stairs. It was a little loud but it didn't bother us. It was very clean and our inn keeper knew the area very well and was very nice to talk too!

This B&B was close to so much in Chicago but not in the city. Train and bus access gives you lots of freedom. Accommodations were very nice and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. I would stay there again.
"Comfortable and cozy"

Three bedroomswere on small size, one queen, one double, one trundle bed. No breakfast. Dining room was very nice. Refrigerator had a Britta container but no filter. Staff was very willing to do almost anything we needed. Very willing to work around baby sleeping schedule.
"Wonderful Wicker Park's Wicker Park Inn"

Entering down the tree-lined one-way street filled with brownstones, one has to remind oneself this is not a swanky New York City residential area, but is in fact a swanky Chicago residential area. Efficient, caring, committed staff meet you upon arrival and make sure every detail is reviewed, in an effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Entering the bungalow, one is struck by the quality of the updates and upgrades done to this elderly building. The home-away-from-home immediately allows one to feel at home. Conveniences include a block's walk to Walgreens & 7-11 Convenience Store. Walking distance to several wonderful locally-flavored restaurants and drinking establishments. The bungalow sets 1/2 between the Division Street and Damon entry ports, and itself is only one block behind Milwaukee Street. Hooking up with UBER, and wise use of the subway and bus systems makes the need for a personal car unnecessary.
"Excellent Early Week Stay"

Having never been to Chicago, I was wary of availability of the free on-street parking; as it turns out, it was free most of the time! My aunt was very relieved to have the parking garage across the street, though, so it all worked out! My grandmother, aunt, and I stayed two nights in the Chicago room, and we had plenty of room. The train passes right behind the room, but it didn't disturb us at all and was actually rather soothing. The neighborhood was nice to roam around as well, and it was easy to access public transit--we got downtown in just a few minutes by bus. The breakfast was a treat, with new surprises every morning, and the staff was very helpful with tips on things to do, how to get there, etc. We had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend to anyone heading in to Chicago!
"Lovely stay at Bucktown Apartment"
08/14/14 EMSent Nijmegen, The Netherlands
The four of us had a lovely stay at the Bucktown Apartment. It is very spacious and the location is great. It's a short walk to public transportation and Wicker Park is a fun neighborhood. Our only interaction with the staff involved checking in, and this was a pleasant experience.
