"Great Location !"
07/28/15 JJ2141 Upper Arlington
Stayed in the Garden Apartment across the street from the actual B&B. This doesn't include breakfast which was fine since there are so many great restaurants close by. It was great having a kitchen just to have coffee before heading out and the room itself was roomy and cute. It is important to note that there was a step down going from the bed area to the kitchen and a few steps in the bathroom which could pose a problem if you forgot. I backed up a little bit to have a better vantage point looking in the mirror and I was on the brink! It worked out fine - we just had to be careful. It was so nice staying in Wicker Park, such a cute area to walk around, window shop, and of course great places to eat & drink!

"Very Pleasant Stay!"

We booked the Tuscan Room at the Wicker Park Inn over the July 4th weekend. We loved this quaint room with a private entrance and bath. The daybed was also nice to relax on. Robin, the Innkeeper, was very helpful with suggestions and knows the area quite well. We will stay here again!

"One night stay"

The Inn is very clean and spacious. Emily, our host, was very welcoming, helpful and gave us some restaurant recommendations. Our room (Wicker Park room) was clean, well maintained, with an in-room BR/shower and queen bed, desk, lounge chair, wardrobe and TV (we never turned it on). Check-in and payment was easy. After check-out the next day we could store our bags in a locked closet and keep our key (for the Inn, not our room) until we were ready to leave. Breakfast was good with pastries, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurts, etc. Coffee and tea are available 24 h. Their street and surrounding neighborhood streets are nice and quiet, 1-2 blocks off of Milwaukee. Their location is fantastic to explore Wicker Park, with short walks to Damen, Division and Milwaukee. The Inn backs up to the L, so you can easily hear the passing trains. Overall we had a very nice night and enjoyed our stay. We will certainly stay here again when we are back in Chicago!

"Perfect Place to Experience Chicago"

The Blue Line room was perfect for us and our trip. It was just the right space for the nights we were there and perfectly located to get to downtown and surrounding areas. The room was clean and well furnished and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. The staff was friendly, very helpful, and got us setup quickly in our room once we arrived. The biggest selling point outside of the place itself was it's location. There were many restaurants, bars, and shops with in walking distance. To ride the train was a short walk to one of two stations for short ride to downtown Chicago. I highly recommend Wicker Park Inn!

Our stay was quick but so much fun. We really liked the Wicker Park Inn because the location was so close to the train stop, the neighborhood was so cute and full of life. The customer service was great! Everyone was so helpful and kind.

"Unexpected convenience"

The Garden Apartment is located on a beautiful, tree lined street with gardens in front of all the residences. Our apartment was comfortable and private. The el is located very close, but we never heard a train unless we were listening for one. A walk to coffee, good food and fine shops is so close over on Milwaukee Ave. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

"great location and neighborhood"

Wicker Park Inn is 2 blocks from the Blue Line Damen station directly from OHare. It is on a tree lined street in a residential neighborhood, a half block from great restaurants and shopping. WPI is really clean and the staff attentive and available. The breakfasts are self serve with an abundance of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, quiche on Sunday, sweet breads, bagels and cream cheese, and tea, coffee, and juice. We stayed in the Chicago Room which is spacious and has a little balcony. Although it backs up to the train track and ear plugs are provided, we had no trouble sleeping. The apartment across the street is also very nice for 5 or 6 people, with a kitchen. If you like easy, clean, not fancy places, you will like WPI....

as a former resident of Chicago, I gaurantee that this place is the best place to stay. stay away from downtown. if you feel like you need to do touristy things then grab a cab or uber, they are literally at your fingertips. wicker park and. bucktown both have super cute boutiques and awesome restaurants. all in walking distance to the wicker park inn. clean and cozy too!

Wicker Park Inn is a cosy and nice little inn. Our room was big and the location is really nice. Nice landlord, great breakfast - very homely! Cool with a little fridge in room for soft drinx and youghurt.
