The regional capital, Perigueux is a busy provincial city, renowned for its splendid produce markets (Wed. and Sat.) and its gastronomic restaurants, which make good use of local produce. Remains of the old Roman settlement called Vesunna survive (a temple tower and an arena), and the Musée Gallo-Romain displays finds from a well-preserved villa. same as all the others regarding room, clean bed, hot water etc, but also very helpful receptionist who gave us maps and called a taxi to town for us.

Accueil trés agréable,chambre confortable,le restaurant est bon et menus assez variés. Coté parking, la chambre était extra silencieuse!!!
