"Resort is a secret GEM of NH!"
All around great resort! With all the amenities you need inside to cook any meal, just enough space to lounge about in a home away from home, and more than the luxury you need to feel spoiled with the fireplace and (private) hot tub on the deck (though the deck is shared with the adjacent room, so they'll definitely spot you if you skimp on the bikini)! […] To top it off, the customer service was phenomenal - Cheryl and Jen - at the front desk really made it a magical stay. Some points/tips: -bring own duralog (but they also have some at the front desk) for the fireplace -they have a library of dvds you can check out to watch in the convenience of your room -buy groceries first if you plan on cooking as it's a far drive to a market -check out the common room, where you can play pool, foosball, pingpong, videogames, and enjoy hot chocolate on the house! -restaurant on site (but we didn't check it out, so can't comment) -only <10 minute drive from Crotched Mountain Ski/Snowboard -they even have salt and pepper :) -dishwasher with soap available for a couple washes -washer & dryer with detergent available for one wash (super convenient!) -free internet -free parking Really, this place is quite remarkable! Would stay here again in a heart beat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic Mountain Getaway"
Although located in a VERY rural part of NH this mountain resort was absolutely beautiful. I stayed in a one bedroom unit and I have to say coming from Manhattan I was amazed at the size of this condo. There was a full kitchen with everything needed to cook a big breakfast (including a dishwasher with detergent - minus the groceries of course), living […] area with couch (fold out bed), reclining chair, flat screen TV with DVD player/Comcast cable, and fireplace (you can only burn Duralogs - which luckily I knew in advance from other reviews). Dining area that seats four, full washer dryer (including detergent to do one load and two fabric softener sheets), bedroom with king size bed and TV, patio that connects from bedroom to living room, and a ridiculously huge bathroom. The room was immaculate (this coming from a total clean freak), and the overall experience was fantastic. I have to mention, the original developer got in over his head and built about 10 extra units that sit on the hill abandoned, honestly I couldn't see them from any of my windows and didn't mind them at all... the girl at the front desk Cheryl (who was very sweet) said the current owner Shell Properties hopes to tear them down in the future. One last thing, the restaurant on site was fantastic, the food is very well priced, homemade, and delicious (if you like blue cheese and steak I highly recommend the stuffed filet). Overall, I had a great time and will definitely be staying here again soon! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I would never stay there again too far from everything. Nothing around. Poor indications of the resort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"awesome hotel for a relaxing getaway."
I was very impressed with the room, if you can call it that,is more like a full apartment. The kitchen has all the basic gadgets and utensils, there's a full fridge and stove with oven. The bath was spacious and comfortable and the king sized bed was cozy and confy. We didn't use the fireplace. The couch could be better but it was alright. We had the […] community bathtub behind our room and we used it one night, we had it all to ourselves and it was great. For off-season do-nothing but relax type vacations highly recommend, not sure how it is on ski season. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stunning East Coast"
11/04/14 DebiJPeck Groves, Texas
This is one of the most beautiful scenic places I have been. The stunning reds, oranges, deep purples, yellows and golds are breath taking. The folks are warm and friendly and the food is rich and hearty. A visit to the stunning East coast in the fall is one for the bucket list.

This was a great resort. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. We had a few minor difficulties and they responded very courteously and immediately. Front desk people were very friendly and Chris, even though he was new, did a great job. We were offered a wide range of tourist info including a Covered Bridge driving tour guide which I would recommend. We completed the drive, brought back pictures and received a small reward. They had info on all shopping nearby, farmers markets, children's activities and everything else you could possibly need. The resort is a bit out of the way but it was everything we had expected. Lots of scenic areas to visit including the White Mountains, Peterborough, Keene and other beautiful and quaint New Hampshire towns. The Merrimack outlet mall was good on a rainy day. We golfed the course and enjoyed it but were disappointed by the quality of rental clubs. The best of all was the wonderful colors of the trees and the scenery! It would be hard to beat this area for its beauty on a early October day.
"A fabulous place!"

We have stayed with Crotched Mountain Resort before, and this time was no different! The rooms are wonderful, always clean, always have plenty of amenities. Our only 'complaint' is that we are used to non stick pans, and have to adjust our cooking skills for the stainless steel pans! The fireplaces are great on cool evenings, and the hot tub included with out unit was amazing. We stayed in 3B this time, and didn't want to leave! We hiked at Pack Monadnock, and otherwise just relaxed. This was a special trip, we became engaged, and will definitely be considering our ceremony nearby, and staying at Crotched Mountain Resort for staying comfortably with our family for that upcoming special event!

We stayed in a one bedroom which included a decent size kitchen and living room. The resort is a bit out of the way but the staff was very friendly and the food at the tavern was good. The room was clean and Chris at the front desk was very helpful with directions and ideas for tours.
"Not exactly a spa or resort"
This is a perfectly serviceable place to stay if you find yourself in the vicinity. And very reasonably priced. We have friends in the area so it was perfect for us. We were there 5 nights in unit 1B, an upstairs space with a kitchen, living room, and decent-sized bedroom. The rug had been patched and the towels are thin but it was fine. The kitchen was decently stocked with appliances, dishes, and silverware. The washer and dryer in the unit were excellent and detergent is included. And although the units appeared to be full, our unit was quiet. There is maid service every few days and that too was adequate except that she must have sprayed the unit with a lot of Febreze or similar product and I had to air it out after it was cleaned. No breakfast is served at the restaurant. Lunch and dinner, which also are adequate, are served in the Toll House Restaurant in the club house but charges there are paid for separately at the time of service. We will stay there again if in the area
"Friendly, comfortable resort"

We just returned from this remote but wonderful resort. The only reason it doesn't have a 5 star rating is because the pool was unable to be used and that would have made it 5 stars. All of the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful, especially Abby at the front desk, they went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as they could. The 2bed unit we stayed in was very clean, modern, spacious with very comfortable beds. The unit had its own private hot tub on the deck. We played golf twice on their 18 hole beautiful course which was not crowded. The onsite Restaurant is excellent, we ate most of our meals there. Be aware though that it is remote and there is not much to do around the resort. It is very relaxing, and we had a good time which would have been great had the pool been available

We went for a HOLA. I'm an herbalist and this area is so beautiful in the fall. Its filled with wonderful history and quaint little towns. The stall was very good and accomodating and we will definitely be going back
"GREAT for couples...NOT for Families."

I surprised my wife with trip to New Hampshire and a stay at the Crotched Mountain Resort. She was VERY surprised to say the least. Upon our arrival, Jessica greeted two VERY weary travellers with a smile and a welcome that put a smile on our faces and helped us relax after 7 hours in the car. This resort is awesome! Being in the middle of nowhere, Crotched Mountain Resort is truly a getaway from the everyday. We were pleased with the one-bedroom suite we had and the hot-tub was a WONDERFUL bonus! The Queen sized bed was VERY comfy...BUT...I feel as though the money spent on maintenance fees for this resort could definately go towards some NEW DEEP pocket sheets for that extra thick comfy mattress!!! THIS is the only drawback to the room we found. The onsite restaurant, The Toll Booth Tavern, was an awesome place to grab a GREAT meal and chill out. The night we arrived, my wife dined on Pasta with meatballs and sausage and I enjoyed the New York Steak with Mashed with a side of Mashed!! (yep I like Mashed Potatoes!!) It was at that point we made the decision that dinner would be enjoyed at the Toll Booth each night!! We did not did spend time in the dining room as we enjoyed the chill attitude in the bar area so I can't speak to that. EVERY dinner we had there was fantastic!! The Wait staff were extremely friendly and receptive and attentive. Amanda was our server a few times and she was absolutely sweet. took the time to chat with us "tourists" and gave us some travelling advice when we told her we were going to Boston and Cape Cod. As I said earlier, this resort is in the middle of nowhere. Find a supermarket BEFORE you get to the general area as there really is nothing there. We were very disappointed that the pool was not available while we were there. We were told that it is 'privately' owned and was not available this summer?? This is part of the reason that we say this resort is not family oriented at all. The playground (such as it was) was pulled apart and taped off and the pool was closed. We did see some families arrive and kind of cringed with the thought "what will you do with your kids all week with nothing to do except a small games room and maybe 30 DVD rentals available"?? Predominantly a Golf resort so we really didn't do a lot of exploring. We did wonder if we could have taken possession of a golf cart to check out the rest of the property one day...but then decided to chill at the last minute. If you are a couple wanting to get away or even two couples wanting to get away then this is the resort for you!! We will definately be back!!
"Exhilarating Fantastic place"
07/03/14 TERRY E Toronto, Canada
If you are looking for peaceful, tranquility, nature, relaxing lovely place - this is it !!! It is very restful that we did not want to leave. We were in 2 bedroom (room 3D) which is upper floor and has private outdoor heated tub. So exhilarating to soak late at night with the stars and bright moon over you and nice breeze but you don't care for you are in 102 degrees H2O? Even when we had power failure due to thunderstorm, we still enjoyed the hot tub and the rain with candlelight--. So lovely and romantic.
"Comfortable, clean resort"
04/06/14 VALovetotravel123 Reston, VA
The unit was very clean and cozy. We had a 1 bedroom and it was comfortable for 2 people, but I would not have wanted another couple staying with us; 2 small children, maybe, but it would have been tight. We were surprised to receive housekeeping service mid-week; they emptied our trash and changed the towels. The unit was very well stocked; we had everything we needed for the week. We were in a downstairs unit, which made it easy to move in. There was no one staying above; however, when staff came to clean the unit upstairs, we realized how lucky we were to have no one above us all week. This was off-season so there was nothing going on – snow still on the golf course but we came to visit family. There is free Wi-Fi and a fireplace in the LR and BR. I called before arriving and was told only Duraflame logs were permitted, so we knew to bring them with us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a very comfortable, clean resort in a remote location. Returning during ski or golf season would provide more options for entertainment close by.
