"Wonderful Get-away Spot"
We booked this resort basically as a place to stay while visiting family. Now I wish we had had more time there. It is the perfect spot for a ski vacation in the winter or a golf vacation in the summer. Since we were on the shoulder season (and didn't have much time), we didn't get to enjoy either, but we got a FANTASTIC rate. Will definitely plan for […] more nights at this resort when we are in the area again. Kitchen is fully equipped with whatever you would need, one bedroom is a king, the other is 2 twins and there is a sofa bed in the living room. Living room has a fireplace and there is a balcony off of the livingroom (make sure to unlock if going out there, door will lock automatically behind you). Some rooms have a private hot tub on the balcony (these were all booked for my stay). Staff were wonderful. I accidentally left a package behind when we checked out. The resort called the next day to tell me they had found it and where could they ship it to. When I tried to pay to have it shipped, they wouldn't accept any form of payment, stated it was a service to their clients. A+ service. Can't think of a more wonderful place for a ski weekend for 2-3 couples. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
If you are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. The fireplace in the living room AND bedroom were wonderful. The private hot tub on the deck was the best. Bring some goodies and wine and enjoy each other.Genuine Expedia guest review
I found this hotel on a website after searching for hours for a place to stay for the Keene pumpkin fest. Even though it was a 45 min. drive from Keene when we arrived we knew it was worth the drive!! The room was spotless and had a full kitchen, flat screen tv and fireplace. On the balcony we had our own private hot tub. It was amazing! had we not […] arrived so late we would have loved to try the restaurant on site. It was amazing value and we plan on returning very soon!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Well worth the drive!"
This resort has a golf course and a restaurant , separate from the lodging area. The rooms were condos, complete with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and private hot tub on deck. I followed other reviewers recommendation to bring groceries, and very glad I did! There are 2 fireplaces, to use duraflame logs (also something to bring with you) Very […] clean and private. I didn't want to leave! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"This will become a regular getaway for us. Unbelievable. Hated to leave!"
Our first impression was of the size and cleanliness of the room. I took dozens of photos to bring home to show friends and family. The resort is only 3 hours from our home, so this will definitely become a regular getaway. The full kitchen was absolutely beautiful. Fireplace in both the living room and bedroom. There was one really nice touch - a book […] on the mantle in the livingroom for people to write information about themselves or their stay if they wanted to. Really interesting to read the variety or reasons why people were there and the things they did while they were there. The hotel is very secure; the onsite restraurant very reasonable in price and excellent food / service. The grounds were immaculate. We had a hottub right outside our back door (french doors in both the living room and bedroom out to a deck). Sitting out on the deck with coffee in the morning was amazing. Friendly chipmunks that posed for pictures...my only complaint would be that the bed was very hard...but I know others would look at this as a plus so it's just a matter of opinion. One thing to note...I am pretty sure the soaps they use have ground walnut shell or something similar...I am allergic so if you have an allergy, bring your own soap (which I did anyway). I can't wait to go back! The rates vary quite a bit depending on the weekend you choose, so keep looking. But don't take the weekend I want!! :) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I would never stay there again too far from everything. Nothing around. Poor indications of the resort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"awesome hotel for a relaxing getaway."
I was very impressed with the room, if you can call it that,is more like a full apartment. The kitchen has all the basic gadgets and utensils, there's a full fridge and stove with oven. The bath was spacious and comfortable and the king sized bed was cozy and confy. We didn't use the fireplace. The couch could be better but it was alright. We had the […] community bathtub behind our room and we used it one night, we had it all to ourselves and it was great. For off-season do-nothing but relax type vacations highly recommend, not sure how it is on ski season. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"GREAT for couples...NOT for Families."
07/09/14 mekewpieis Orangeville Ontario CANADA
I surprised my wife with trip to New Hampshire and a stay at the Crotched Mountain Resort. She was VERY surprised to say the least. Upon our arrival, Jessica greeted two VERY weary travellers with a smile and a welcome that put a smile on our faces and helped us relax after 7 hours in the car. This resort is awesome! Being in the middle of nowhere, Crotched Mountain Resort is truly a getaway from the everyday. We were pleased with the one-bedroom suite we had and the hot-tub was a WONDERFUL bonus! The Queen sized bed was VERY comfy...BUT...I feel as though the money spent on maintenance fees for this resort could definately go towards some NEW DEEP pocket sheets for that extra thick comfy mattress!!! THIS is the only drawback to the room we found. The onsite restaurant, The Toll Booth Tavern, was an awesome place to grab a GREAT meal and chill out. The night we arrived, my wife dined on Pasta with meatballs and sausage and I enjoyed the New York Steak with Mashed with a side of Mashed!! (yep I like Mashed Potatoes!!) It was at that point we made the decision that dinner would be enjoyed at the Toll Booth each night!! We did not did spend time in the dining room as we enjoyed the chill attitude in the bar area so I can't speak to that. EVERY dinner we had there was fantastic!! The Wait staff were extremely friendly and receptive and attentive. Amanda was our server a few times and she was absolutely sweet. took the time to chat with us "tourists" and gave us some travelling advice when we told her we were going to Boston and Cape Cod. As I said earlier, this resort is in the middle of nowhere. Find a supermarket BEFORE you get to the general area as there really is nothing there. We were very disappointed that the pool was not available while we were there. We were told that it is 'privately' owned and was not available this summer?? This is part of the reason that we say this resort is not family oriented at all. The playground (such as it was) was pulled apart and taped off and the pool was closed. We did see some families arrive and kind of cringed with the thought "what will you do with your kids all week with nothing to do except a small games room and maybe 30 DVD rentals available"?? Predominantly a Golf resort so we really didn't do a lot of exploring. We did wonder if we could have taken possession of a golf cart to check out the rest of the property one day...but then decided to chill at the last minute. If you are a couple wanting to get away or even two couples wanting to get away then this is the resort for you!! We will definately be back!!
"Exhilarating Fantastic place"

If you are looking for peaceful, tranquility, nature, relaxing lovely place - this is it !!! It is very restful that we did not want to leave. We were in 2 bedroom (room 3D) which is upper floor and has private outdoor heated tub. So exhilarating to soak late at night with the stars and bright moon over you and nice breeze but you don't care for you are in 102 degrees H2O? Even when we had power failure due to thunderstorm, we still enjoyed the hot tub and the rain with candlelight--. So lovely and romantic.
"Comfortable, clean resort"

The unit was very clean and cozy. We had a 1 bedroom and it was comfortable for 2 people, but I would not have wanted another couple staying with us; 2 small children, maybe, but it would have been tight. We were surprised to receive housekeeping service mid-week; they emptied our trash and changed the towels. The unit was very well stocked; we had everything we needed for the week. We were in a downstairs unit, which made it easy to move in. There was no one staying above; however, when staff came to clean the unit upstairs, we realized how lucky we were to have no one above us all week. This was off-season so there was nothing going on – snow still on the golf course but we came to visit family. There is free Wi-Fi and a fireplace in the LR and BR. I called before arriving and was told only Duraflame logs were permitted, so we knew to bring them with us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a very comfortable, clean resort in a remote location. Returning during ski or golf season would provide more options for entertainment close by.
"Fantastic Resort for Crotched Mountain Ski"
02/24/14 MJKitchin Chester, United Kingdom
Came over to NH from England in February 2013 for a few days skiing before travelling up to see friends in Maine. The hotel was perfect. Really spacious apartment, 2 bedrooms (1 Double, 1 Twin) and a large lounge and open plan kitchen area. The food was great also, after a long days skiing at Crotched Mountain, we went to the main building and grabbed a couple of pizzas and took them back to the room. The room itself was very clean, no complaints whatsoever. We had a nice big balcony that overlooked the trees and it was a great sight in the snow. Some lower floor balconies had outside hot tubs but we were on the upper floor. Inside the main reception building was great too, a nice library, DVD rentals, ping pong table, bar and restaurant is everything you would need there if you stayed for a few days. Would love to go back there one day soon.
"Our most favorite resort!!!"

We are here on a RCI rental and have family that live about 30 minutes from the resort and decided to stay here rather than a hotel room in Manchester. We are in a two-bedroom unit (3D) and the unit is very nice. The unit features two fireplaces, washer/dryer, full kitchen, and private hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked and very functional. The unit décor is very nice and the unit was in great condition. Everything was in good working order and the room was very clean. I had to kill a few bugs (bee, fly, and ????), but the resort is in a VERY rural area, so I'm not too surprised about a bug here or there. I contacted the resort when the reservation was made and also about a week before check-in and requested a second floor unit, because I read that it's quieter than first floor units. My contact with the resort staff has been wonderful. The staff responded quickly to my emails and have been really friendly throughout the process. The check-in process was like my other dealings with the resort-- quick, friendly, and very accommodating. There were no additional fees and a scheduled mid-week cleaning. On the Shell website, it says that there is daily service, but perhaps with rentals/exchanges they only do a mid-week. We're really cool with no service, so a mid-week cleaning is great. The resort has some planned activities and a restaurant on-site. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but noticed many people at the restaurant. There is one thing about the resort that's a little weird--the abandoned buildings behind the resort. You can read about the history of the resort in a review below, but it's really odd that they wouldn't just tear down these old dilapidated buildings. It must be due to cost and perhaps environmental issues that the old building haven't been tore down. We weren't here on "vacation", but the area has a lot to offer those looking to explore New England. Although in a rural area, the resort allows access to Boston, NH lakes region, covered-bridges, outlet malls, etc. The resort definitely deserves its RCI Gold Crown rating. I already booked another stay for April 2014 and in the process of planning a November trip also. As mentioned in the title, this is our favorite timeshare resort. We been to many and this place is just top notch. Highly recommend this place for a nice quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle.
"Comfy, clean, great location, and possibly haunted."
12/16/13 Kimiko B Belgrade, Montana
My husband and I were gifted with a week long stay in one of the condos at this resort. The staff was super friendly and facilities were clean and perfect for a bit of badly needed relaxation. It is strategicly placed in the N.H woods, a drive or day trip to many of New England's sights. The resort's main building has an impressive history, and documented sightings of a ghost in the basement. We had our own little sighting one of the nights of or stay; the sound of crinkling carpet and a masculine figure leaning over our bed in the dark of night, all windows and doors being locked ofcourse... gave me quite a fright. Overall though, a wonderful and beautiful place to stay while in N.H in the summer.

Wanted to get away by myself for the weekend and selected this resort. Had an upstairs, two bedroom unit and my stay was AMAZING!!! The front desk staff (thank you Ashley for checking me in) was exceptional. My unit was spotless, well designed and extremely comfortable. I loved the fireplace. I used it all weekend. Went to the tavern for dinner. Outstanding service and best fried clams I have ever had, FRESH!!! The French Martinis are not bad either :) You have GOT to come to this place. True, not much around this resort but WELL worth the trip. And if you play golf, amazing views. FYI - if you don't want to cook your own breakfast, go down the road about 4 miles. Amazing breakfast and great prices!! I am SO pleased I came and plan on bringing hubby back with me to relax and play golf!! Kudos to the staff!!!!! I didn't want to leave!!!!!
"Remote, But Good Value"
11/03/13 BobtheBuilder39 Austin, Texas
Nice rooms. We stayed with another couple in a two bedroom unit. It was very inexpensive and entirely adequate. Only thing that kept it from being excellent was the fact that while the resort was less than 1/2 full, they put someone in the room above us. Finding the resort was a problem. If you put the address into your GPS, you will 180 degrees off course. Call the desk for the correct input address.
"Surprisingly good experience!"

To use up some of our Hilton Grand Vacation Club points, I booked a 3-day vacation on exchange to this location with a one-bedroom accommodations. The driving to the resort is simply beautiful at this foilage season. Room facilities are not new, yet has a very good layout, well cleaned and thoughtfully prepared - being an HGVClub oddie, I have to say this unit can match up with the HGVC standards. Some tips: 1. Try to get the grocery on route 101a before getting dark, driving in and out from the resort at late night could be a little difficult 2. Living room has sliding door which can be left open for the mountain fresh air, screen door is on the other side; hot tub is right outside the sliding door on the deck! 3. Building #2 (unit 2A,B,C,D) are next to a walking trail, also has children playground facilities right across 4. The area to keep ski equipments is a plus for our winter visits to come; also remember to bring some fire logs for thev REAL fireplaces ( one in the living room, one in bedroom) In all, this is a resort with class for people looking for a relaxed vacation, family gathering or simply a meditation in the woods! p.s. I would have given a five star review if the carpet and deco are newer...
