This was our second stay at this hotel. We were in one large room for two adults and two children (12 and 8) The hotel and facilities are very good. The pool and sauna are very nice. The wifi works very well and is free of charge. The dinner was nice but a little expensive. Overall I recommend this hotel for a short break near the city of Brussels.

On the negative side the bar service and the room service are very very slow (unacceptable to be honnest). For the rest the Dolce is a very nice hotel with excellent facilities in a nice surrounding.

Tghis was more of a conference centre than a hotel. being outside the city it cost between 35-55 Euros to go anywhere worth visiting! And the taxis the hotel arranged were in very poor condition (on 2 of the 3 I used each car had several warning lights flashing on the dashboard warning of imminent breakdown! We booked an executive room, hoping for a relaxing evening in a pretty rural setting. Unfortunately the room we were allocated was on the ground floor overlooking the car park, so the lovely forest view was somewhat spoiled by all the cars... The toilet seat did not fit the toilet and wasn't fixed properly which is not what you would expect from a 4 […] star hotel. Hotel is nice, clean and in good location. Maintenance was the problem. The shower had very little pressure - they said it was hotel policy. The sink would not drain well - maintenance came and said they could not fix it. No offer to move me.

While this is a very comfortable hotel in pleasant surrounding, it will prove to be a very impersonal experience. I stayed in the hotel for 5 days and I can't remember a more isolating experience. Excellent hotel and conference facilities. Although really isolated (nothing within walking distance or a 15 euro taxi ride), this hotel is ideal for conferences. While expensive, they have exceptional lecture theatres and meeting rooms that put every other hotel to shame. Audio systems, video projectors and lighting were top shelf. Seating in tiered […] lecture theatres beats most conference centres for comfort. Meeting breaks were supplied with excellent coffee, range of snacks as well as an open fridge filled with a wide variety of soft drinks. All meals were included in our meeting package and were superb - extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast (20 euros if not on a package), wonderful lunch with wines, and excellent catering for a variety of dinner formats make the meeting first class. On the down side, I booked an upgraded room by Expedia but was assigned a "restricted mobility" room. It was OK, but strange with soap dispensers 0.5m off floor. Expedia cost was much lower than via the meeting organizer. The place is isolated, but can be reached in 30 min from BRU at a taxi cost that ranges from 50 to 80 euro depending on traffic or meter calibration. I advise the hotel-arranged taxi for the return journey to BRU (50 euro) while actual taxi meter was at 78 euro. The place is isolated (did I say that already) but is located in a wonderful forest with lots of walking and biking trails - suggest renting mountain bikes for a half day of fun and frolic. I have stayed in this hotel a few times, and love it. It's very quiet, in the middle of the forest surrounding Brussels. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and I'm somewhat of a germophobe, with nice contemporary design. I love that it's close to some awesome running and walking trails and next time I go I want to check out […] their spa, it looks really nice. The only downside is that it's not easily accessible from the parking, you have to lug your bags a bit, including up and down stairs and over cobblestones, so if you have impaired mobility, are travelling alone with a small child or something like that there might be better choices, but then again I think there is a good chance that the friendly staff would help you out if you needed it.
