Great room for the money"

Hotel was better than expected. Good location for golf and fishing as 3 fishing piers located within 2-3 miles. Booked a 2br/2ba for 3 people and was more than enough room. Would recommend to other travelers if they can get a reasonable rate.

A few glitches here and there. No doors between the bedroom and the living room. Hot water wouldn't work in the shower unless you know "the trick." Lost power in the bathroom and had to have room service show us "the trick."

For the most part, our stay was awesome. We got the one bedroom oceanfront suite. The room was nice. The only issues I had about this place was when we first arrived and checked in, the lady at the front desk said there was a $100 deposit. This I was never made aware of. Not even when I made the reservation. And did not have the extra money for. Her only respnose was that this was a new policy and since I made the reservation on this site, that the site may not be updated to this information yet. Basically she acted as if she didn't care and it wasn't her problem. Luckily my friend had the money and forked out the $100 for the deposit. Thankfully we got it back when we checked out. And the furniture on the balcony had not been cleaned. Also, the bar only serves like 3 food items. But the wings are awesome! I recommend the wings for a snack. One last thing, the parking deck was full at night. I think we took the last spot when get got back in for the night. I felt bad for the person that pulled in 5 minutes later.

This is a pretty new hotel. Rooms are in excellent condition and pools are all public areas were very clean and well maintained. My wife and I and teenage son stayed in a the smallest room they offered and it was very comfortable. The view from this ocean view room was as good as some ocean front rooms I've stayed in. The only complaint I have is that the hotel does not have ice machines on every floor...or every other floor...or anywhere for public use. The only ice machine in the building is in the restaurant. They will fill your ice there, but it is a hassle. I understand many of the the bigger rooms have ice makers in the fridge, so they may feel that an ice machine is not warranted. I feel differently. However, if that's not important to you, this is a GREAT place to stay.

The hotel was beautiful and we loved the view and the lazy river. The only thing that could be improved would be the beds. The matresses could have been more comfortable.

We got a good deal and it was beachfront. But, the bed was sooo hard and uncomfortable. My husband is 6 feet tall and his feet hung off the end of the bed. We had to put our son's pack and play in the living room because you could hear doors closing in the bed area. We were afraid it would wake him up. The restaurant only offered chicken wings or chicken fingers for dinner...that was a little disappointing. I think we would stay somewhere else next time.

I have stayed at this hotel several times but was unpleased with it this stay. The woman at the front desk was very unaccomadating in trying to change my room. Said that there were no other rooms available but called to see rates and availabliity and there were rooms available. The bathroom was not cleaned well at all. There was still alot of sand in the bathtub. No blankets or wrapped cups in the room. No coffee in the room. And only soap in the room as amenities.

When we opened the door to our condo, the appearance exceeded what I had imagined, as well as, exceeded most other hotel stays I've experienced. The condo was cozy and inviting. The rollout bed came in handy too, as we had gotten the 1 bedroom with 2 double-beds (family of 4). The view was awesome. The room was clean and had all the bells and whistles I needed to fix dinner and breakfast for my family. I strongly recommend Paradise Resort to all my co-workers.

The only bad thing was the beds. Way to hard. Others staying there also complained about the beds. We only stayed 2 nights so we could live with it. Other wise it was great for the money. We did get cheap rates (September).

We were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. Since we had never stayed at this hotel before and we booked it online, we really didn't know exactly what to expect. We were very pleased with these accomodations. I always like to read the reviews for hotels before I decide to stay somewhere. Although there are always people that find something to complain about, we found this a very nice place to stay. Our room was spacious, clean and the staff was always considerate, pleasant and willing to help. The only thing that kept our stay from being perfect was the close parking in the garage--but there was also parking across the street from the hotel and we took advantage of that. We hope to visit there again!

The hotel was clean but the beds were very uncomfortable and the pools were very dirty and small. I would expect a bigger pool with the size of the hotel but it was very crowded. The little resturant downstairs was also very slow.

my family and i really enjoyed this wonderful hotel. the rooms are great and roomy, the beds were comfy! we loved the convenience of the full kitchen, washer/dryer and the full bathrooms! it helps when you have alot of guests. the view was gorgeous and we would most definately stay again. the only thing my family and i did not like were the rowdy kids at the pool, not that kids aren't suppose to have fun, some were just real loud and rude and pushed my children! and there were too many little kids in the hot tub! other than the pool area, my family and i really enjoyed our stay at paradise.

The price was great and the room was wonderful. The only suggestion I have about the Paradise resort is if you stay in the efficiency room, which has a great view, there is no microwave. That was my only problem with the hotel. They have no ice machine but you can get ice at front or restaurant. The staff was extremely nice and it was a great stay.

I wasn't overly impressed with this place. Hard beds, not a very good breakfast, a very small lobby, and the fact that it's a very long walk or an expensive cab ride if you'd like to go have drinks at the decent bars or restaraunts will ensure I stay at a better resort next time. I recomend the breakers. It's closer to activitys and it looks very nice.

The Paradise Resort was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the little restaurant at the hotel, the wait staff were extremely nice and very engaging. The buffet was pretty good but could have used a little more variety. We rented a two bedroom two bath condo and it was nice and clean. I would definitely go back and stay at the Paradise Resort.

The sleeping area of the room is small and the comforters are a little outdated. The living area, however, is great. Lots of space, nice appliances, very clean.

first room never cleaned. beer bottles with sweat still on them. Inconvenient checkin facility. Inconvenient to room from checkin.

This hotel had pretty much whatever you are looking for. Tiki bar by the poolside and a restaurant right downstairs. My 1 and only complaint is the pool. It was waaaay to small for the size of the hotel and quite merky. If that problem was rectified, there would be nothing negative to say. With that being said, it is a brand new hotel and hasn't had time to get worn.

There was a mildew odor all through the building. The room was fairly clean but there was not sufficient lighting in the bedrooms. The outside area around the pool looked rundown and not clean. The main pool water was so cloudy you could not see your feet when standing in the water. The pool remained like that for our entire stay. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was excellent with great service and a good price. We would not stay there again.

We try to get to Myrtle every hear. This hotel has been one of the nicer ones. Very clean and well maintained. The pool area is nice, but if you have small kids, you might try to find one with a larger selection of pools. Check in was a little slow, but the front desk people were nice. I called maintenance once because the tub was clogged and he was there within five minutes and nice as can be. My room didn't have a hair dryer and I called the front desk and they had one installed within an hour. The employees at the restaurant and tiki bar were also very nice. My only complaints were 1- Housekeeping came before 9AM and banged on the door so loud that they woke up my son. This happened two of the three days we were there. I looked for 'Do Not Disturb Signs' but couldn't find one. 2- There is a coffee maker, but no coffee. Also shampoo, but no conditioner.

The hotel overall was very nice, it was kid friendly, and clean. The parking was rough, but other than that I can't say anything bad about it. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very efficient and helpful, and one of the best I have encountered. The room was large and I loved the shower. The only thing I didn't like was the parking deck. Parking was very tight, but I have never seen a parking garage I liked. I would highly recommend Paradise Resort.

Good location, right on the ocean BUT, no extras! No kleenex, coffee, computer, pool towels, lobby, no comfortable beds, infact, the linens were worse than garage sale quality. The beds were awful, no mattress pads and what was there was stingy. The skimpy sheets, blanket and chewed up comforter were unbelievable. Yuk! Glad we only stayed one night. Also, remember your ear plugs as the fireworks on the beach go on for hours!!! Don't recommend this one.

Although the staff and location of the hotel were wonderful, there were just too many downsides. The parking was horrible. There were 19 floors and only a 5 story parking building, and the spaces were small and difficult to get into. There were 2 parking lots (one across the street and the other 2 blocks away), but they were pretty full too. There was not any information in the room about ammenities. The ice machine in the fridge was turned off and could not find one in the hotel. There were very few pop machines and no vending machines. Also, with the price I paid, I expected to have a dvd player in the room or at least a couple movie channels, but there were none. I would not stay here again.

The only complaint I had was the firmness of mattress. Great side view of ocean, Great Tiki Bar. Right by lifeguard.

I booked a suite for 4 days, 3 nights for my family. I was amazed at the quality of the room for the price,and we were right on the beach. Room service was great, and while we didn't take advantage of the food service, it smelled wonderful. The pool area was clean and secure, which was a bonus with the kids. Am already planning a trip next year to the same hotel. For a family, or couples only trip, this is a great hotel. We wanted to to extend our stay, but they were booked. The only downside was parking, it was a bit crowded. It was a secure indoor parking facility, just crowded.

EXCELLENT STAFF, VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL, ESPECIALLY LIKED THE WAITRESS IN THE RESTAURANT...A REALLY GREAT EXPERIENCE.....

The staff of the hotel were very helpful. We got lost and they stayed on the phone with us for 20 minutes. They even let us check in earlier than the time allowed. My one complaint is that the shower water was room temperature. This was probably due to the fact that everyone was coming in from the beach and taking a shower at the same time...5:00pm just before dinner. If you want a family resort type of place that has plenty of outdoor activities then this is the place to go.

Nothing spectacular, but good value for families looking to get a beach front hotel for a reasonable price. I would go back.

Cannot say enough GREAT things about this hotel. We will stay again!! Rooms were VERY clean, staff was nice, towels were very soft. WE LOVED OUR ROOM!!!

room not what i expected. it was an efficeincy (2beds,minifridge,microwave). we had a view of the beach which was nice. lazy river and pool good. access to beach good. the only two downsides to me were trying to get back to the place from way of ocean from broadway at the beach, took us an hour to get back for a 10 minute trip. traffic aweful. take other route, you would be better off. and the other was our room was a lockoff to a three bedroom, once people came in there our last night there, kids were aweful, trying to open the lockoff door and knocking and running back and forth, be careful what you say or (uh um) do in the room, because you can hear through the door.

We had a side view so I thought it wouldn't be that great, but it was. The beds were very hard. They night staff was a little rude. I had asked for extra pillows and they gave me a hard time about it after they forgot to bring them to me. I waited for about an hour and a half and then went down myself. I had to explain my medical condition in front of other guests in order to get them. Parking is limited. Other than that, our stay there was good.

It was a great hotel. I was really suprise on how the carpet was well kept. Also the space of the room that you got for your money. My wife and I will be back.

My husband and I decided to stay at the Paradise resort while we went to the beach just for a little weekend get away..This place was AMAZING!! Upon arrival to the hotel our room wasn't ready yet but they let us do all of our paper work and we went to eat and came back and it was ready. As soon as we walked into the room our jaws dropped..It wasn't like we expected at all. It exceeded our expectations in every way! My husband and I decided that this was going to be "our hotel" every time we go to Myrtle Beach.

This resort is wonderful!!! We had a awesome 2 bedroom ocean front condo. The condo was very clean. Hospitality at this resort was incredible. If you needed something, they were willing and happy to help you the best they could. We never met any of the staff that was not nice. We felt like we were in another world at this resort. I will definitely go back!!!!! You have to see it to believe it. Have fun!!

Very clean, comfortable, rooms. Furnishings were nice with a modern feel, not tired and worn out like many places. Great galley kitchen. Even loved the shower...great water pressure. Only negatives: our thermostat was a little tricky, front desk had to tell us how to work it then no problem and the pool area was a little small for a hotel of this size. Didn't effect us b/c we were there in May.

Wonderful hotel! Was very queit when we where there! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful! We had the chefs speacial each day for $3. and was full! Where else can you fill up for that! Would recommend to anyone one single to couples to familys. Only drawback was no dinner service or bar when we where there(5/24/09) they said that should be changing within 2 weeks!

Hotel was nicer than expected. Room was very large with lots of closet space and cabinet space in the bathroom! The view was very nice! Will stay there again and would definately recommend to a friend!

my stay at this hotel was great, it was very spacious and very clean. i wasn't there long as i was there for a funeral and only there one night but it was great. i would recommend this hotel to everyone!
