I planned a last minute overnight for my 45th birthday. Traveling alone I wanted a safe, secure, comfortable hotel. Cape Cod Ocean Manor was a class act! The rooms are immaculate & pristine. The owner, Martin, was down to earth, friendly and easy to talk to. He even went out of his way to leave me a birthday present when he found out it was my day! […] I have to mention the price. Extremely reasonable for such a cut above the rest inn! I had the best birthday ever! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Martin is a wonderful host at this lovely B & B....very convenient location, can walk to anything. Martin is extremely helpful & so pleasant with tons of suggestions for entertainment, dinner, sights! Will definitely recommend to friends & be sure to go back again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great place, wonderful owner"
Every detail in our room was perfect, in theme with the ocean. We also had a small balcony, a microwave and a fridge in the room, and the bed was king size (our room was the number 4). Parking was complimentary for one car per room. Hyannis harbor, with its cruises and nice restaurants, is at 15 minutes walk. but the real plus of this place is the owner, […] the kindest person met in our trip. He provided suggestions, maps, coupons, even a lift, to help us enjoying our day in Cape Cod, and the rest of our vacation (we are Italian and we don't know the area very much). I would definitely come back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"It would have been a disaster if not for Martin!"
10/20/14 jaidenmac Stamford, Connecticut
My girlfriend and I stayed at Ocean Manor on a long weekend, first visiting Cape Cod, and then M.V. and Nantucket. The room at Ocean Manor we stayed in was quiet, cozy and nicely decorated, while the 5-10 minute walks to a private beach or to the Hyannis ports and downtown was fantastic, this location can not be beat! During our stay, we became good friends with the owner, Martin, a humble and heroic guy who saved our trip from disaster! On the last day of our stay at Ocean Manor, we were going to drive to Woods Hole to park the car and take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. After eating breakfast and packing the car, we were ready to hit the road, however our car was not ready to leave yet! It wouldn't start and we were stuck, hundreds of miles from home and on vacation, on a Sunday when no auto shops were open, and no place to stay that night if we didn't make it to M.V. Luckily, Martin was home and noticed us starting to stress out. He drove his car around and hooked up his jumper cables to charge our car's battery. We tried jumping for over 30minutes but it was still not starting. He then loaned us his car so we could drive to Autozone and purchase a new battery and when we returned, Martin was there with tools to help change the battery! Unfortunately, the story did not end there. The car still did not start and we were stuck with more serious car problems. Martin, having been in the same situation before in his own life, offered to drive us to Woods Hole so we could make it to the next stop of our vacation in Martha's Vineyard, and he would meanwhile take care of finding a trustworthy local mechanic to fix our car Monday morning. Although we didn't want to burden him with our problems, we didn't have any other good options so we decided to take up his offer. We continued with our vacation plans, an island away, while Martin called us throughout the day with updates on the car. When we returned, he offered us his home to stay at while we waited on the repairs, and then drove us to the auto shop when it was ready. It's worth mentioning that when we met the father and son owners at J.J's Auto Body of Hyannis, he explained what happened, what needed to be replaced and fixed, and gave us a very fair price which made us want to hug him. If we only lived closer, this would be our new mechanic! It is good people like Martin and J.J. who selflessly help others when they're in trouble that make this world a better place. My girlfriend and I truly felt like we were treated like family by Martin, J.J. and their staff, and we could not have prayed for better people to have met on this trip. We still keep in touch with Martin and are so glad we have met him during this trip. We highly recommend Ocean Manor for your next stay if you're looking for a great location with terrific people who treat you like family, and we're looking forward to visiting them again soon!

From start to finish our stay here was fantastic. We had room 4 with tasteful decor and great view. Host Martin was brilliant. I cannot praise him enough. He certainly went the extra mile. Even bought me a lighthouse decoration I had admired. Breakfast was so fresh, lovely fruit and home baked muffins. I could have stayed at least another week.
"Ocean Manor was absolutely wonderful!"

Want to thank Martin for a absolutely wonderful visit. We loved the location and the charm of the Ocean Manor. Everything was perfect, and Martin does everything possible to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Martin is an amazing host, very knowlegable about Hyannis and the Cape, the best places to eat and the beaches to go too. The views from the room were beautiful and relaxing, and such a excellent location within walking distance to the beach and Main Street. The room was clean and cozy and the breakfast area was delicious. We highly recommend the Ocean Manor if you want the feeling of home instead of a hotel room. We will definitely be back and thanks again Martin!!

We were searching for a great off season deal and we found it! Our stay on Hyannis would not have been as awesome with out the care and attention we received! We can't say enough how we enjoyed our stay, we will be back!
"The perfect cape cod getaway!"
Honestly, I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and was nervous to do so...this place was a PERFECT pick...I have never stayed anywhere so CLEAN...we stayed in Room 1 (1st floor) and it was quiet, private, and spacious...not to mention the location is perfect...10 minute walk to the docks..20 minute walk to Main Street...the people who work here are honestly the friendliest people and SO accommodating! Will recommend to anyone and will definitely return! :)

This is a great B&B for a short get-away or even an extended stay. The rooms are comfortable, conveniently appointed, exceptionally clean, and very affordable. The location is terrific: within walking distance of two beaches, the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, and good dining spots. Martin is a wonderful host, very helpful, and readily available to answer questions or to drive you to/from the ferries or dinner. Tea is available 24-7, a nice treat at the end of the day! Fresh fruits, great cheeses, delicious bagels and fabulous coffee are part of the wonderful breakfast. Thank you, Martin (and Marty!), for a wonderful stay...I will be back!
"Fantastic B&B in Cape Cod!!"

I found Cape Cod Ocean Manor through Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint!! It is such a charming B&B with a great location in Hyannis, close to a lot of fun attractions. The highlight of the B&B is Martin, the owner/host, who was so charming and whose Irish accent kept us smiling the entire time. He was there to greet us and quickly learned of our plans, offering suggestions of where to go in Hyannis, along with the best way to get to Martha's Vineyard, which my sister and I were visitng the next day. I really appreciated his honesty in suggesting that we not use the ferry service nearby but instead drive to Falmouth for a shorter ride at a much lower cost. He gave us suggestions of places to visit, places to eat and how to get to the beach nearby - he even provided us with beach towels to take down to the beach with us. We booked our room rather last minute so there was only one room to select, but it was such a great, charming room! It was room #1 on the first floor, and it had a perfect little balcony off of the room with a great view of the marsh/pond and the ocean in the distance. When we got back to the room for the night, my sister and I sat out on the deck with a bottle of wine (the room came with glasses and a wine key!) and enjoyed the beautiful evening, the clear sky with lots of stars and the lovely sounds of the evening. Breakfast the next morning was a great start to the day and Mari (?) made sure that all of us in the breakfast room were well taken care of and had all that we needed. My only complaint about the place was that I didn't get to stay long enough!! I could easily have stayed for several nights as it is a wonderful B&B and a great location in the Cape. I highly, highly recommend Cape Cod Ocean Manor to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Cape Cod area. This was my first time in Cape Cod and I hope to go back some day and stay here again!
"Great overnight stay"

Martin is a wonderful host...very friendly and helpful. He even offered to drive us down the street for the ferry. Very quiet and convenient location near the beach. Breakfast was simple, but just enough to start the day. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a relaxing stay.
"Another fantastic stay at the Cape Cod Ocean Manor!"

We just returned from our 7th visit to this fantastic B&B! Martin and his daughter are always so gracious! We have never met such an accommodating host! We brought our adult daughter along with us again this year. Even though her birthday was earlier in the month, the first thing Martin did when he greeted her at the door was to wish her a "Happy Birthday". When we returned to our room later in the evening, a birthday cake and gift were waiting for her! How special! We consider the Cape Cod Ocean Manor our "second home away from home"! We plan a weekend at the cape every summer just to see Martin, it has become a tradition! We would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting the Cape to stay at the Cape Cod Ocean Manor. You truly will enjoy your stay! P.S. the organic muffins are DELICIOUS!
