Traveling with two little kids (5 & 1), we had the junior suite. It was very clean and spacious (paris hotels are notorious for small rooms). Staff were very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Location is great with the RER and metro right outside doorsteps. Starbucks just outside, two malls within blocks and a good shopping area while most major sites are within 30 minute walking. Reccomend.

The room was a little small but had twin beds, desk, chair, closet, and luggage stand. The windows opened and there was a fan available in the room if needed. Good cafes in the neighborhood. Metro station very close. We would use this hotel again.

This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast in the room every morning was a luxury followed by a walk in the Tuileries just a block from the hotel. If you're looking for the ultimate elegant boutique Parisian hotel, then you'll find it here. We'll be coming back to this one again. Bon voyage.

Good service and a decent area, very convinent location with a market of all food and goods! 2 mins walk from metro! Just a little far from center paris! Good service and polite reception!

This high-rise business city glitters to the west of Paris at the far end of the Grande Axe. Centrepiece is La Grande Arche, a vast hollow cube containing office and exhibition space, an information centre and a rooftop viewpoint. An IMAX cinema and a huge shopping centre with cafés and brasseries attract tourists as well as office-workers. Sculptures, mosaics and fountains add life the skyscraper surroundings.

"not that great"
I did not really take the time to check out this location and it was not too convenient. you had to walk through a sort of nondescript park to get to the metro station and the neighborhood seemed a little shady. the hotel employees were courteous but one of them gave us a wrong bus number and luckily we figured it out on time or we would have ended […] up in the wrong direction.. since there were only two bus numbers in the area this seemed like a big mistake. no free breakfast and the hotel was bare bones but clean. the A.C did not work great on our floor. Just come back from a weekend break in Paris staying at Companile Nanterre. After reading plenty of positive reviews for this relatively low priced hotel it was decided that us 3 budget-minded guys would share a room at Companile Nanterre. Having arrived at Gare du Nord, we hadn't realised that Nanterre Prefecture was not a metro station and was in […] zone 2 (or 3?) so instead of paying 11 euros for a carnet, it actually came to 18... which seared our mini wallets. Despite knowing that walking through the park from the station to the hotel was a shortcut, we still managed to take the long route around! For those who don't want to get lost, come out of the Nanterre Prefecture station and take the stairs on the right, and walk towards a large open stretch where there are glass cubes with 5 or 6 large pillars in the distance. This will lead you to the park, and from there just follow the signs for Pablo Picasso Rd. The hotel itself.. the receptionist was fairly helpful i guess. Not overly friendly but neither rude, which is a bonus. The triple room was tiny, there was just about enough room to fit in all 3 beds (1 being a smaller fold-out bed). What else? TV, hairdryer, kettle were all present. Clean stuffy room with a weak air con system (even at full power), large window for air, well equipped bathroom, view of the carpark, quiet area at night with very little cars. "brilliant quality for money"
after a recent trip to Paris, this hotel was one of the easiest and nicest choice. I booked the room for me and my boyfriend a month before we went for one night, with the hope of finding another hotel for the second night. However after booking in and staying the night we decided to stay an extra night and the hotel was very accommodating and fitted […] us in for a good price. We had a car so the parking facilities were brilliant and was only a five minuet drive into the center of prais. Speaking no french at all the staff were all able to help and understand when we needed, which was also a benefit. Highly recommended for the price we paid. Read more

"Campanile Paris Ouest - close to Paris centre!"
Having not read any negative reviews before booking this hotel I was already pretty impressed - it was even closer/easier to get into central Paris than I first imagined! The hotel was clean and hotel staff were very friendly! The only thing I would recommend BEFORE is writing down the route to get to the hotel from Nanterre-Prefecture as we did get […] lost when we came out of the station (thankfully we had google maps to guide us!). We also found the easiest way to get to the hotel was to get the metro to La Defense and from the station get the 159 bus, which stops basically outside the hotel! Read more
"Very convenient One night stay"
I had booked a one night stay as a surprise for my husband. Our focus was not really the hotel, it was the fact that it was close to Paris and Versaille. For the price that I paid I was very happy with the outcome. We arrived at 11am. We parked (+++parking free). The receptionist was very nice and helpful. She directed us to where we could storage […] our luggage and then she also helped us to where to find the closest subway to Paris. We left for Paris the whole day,and since we were quite tired, it was around 11:45pm, when we got back to the hotel, they were very welcoming and it was one of the quickest check in, basically gave us the key and off we went up to the room. Very clean room, good size, enough for our needs. Large bathroom. I could have easily stayed for a couple of more night comfortably. Personnel très agréable et réactif aux demandes. Propreté de la chambre TRÈS limite, serviettes sales, draps tachés, moquette usée.. Dommage.
Nous avions pris une chambre triple et il a fallu réclamer 2 autres serviettes de douche. Il n'est pas normal d'arriver à 21h et de réclamer ce genre de choses. D'autre part le produit qui contenait le liquide de douche n'était plus fixé mais se trouvait par terre dans le bac à douche. "Le personnel mériterait de retourner à l'école hôt"
J'avais déja pré-réservé ma chambre et en arrivant à la réception on décida de me passer une chambre au 4 èm étage en me remettant un badge qui ouvre la porte. Arrivé à ma chambre j'essai à plusieurs reprises mais rien n'y fait , le badge n'ouvre pas la porte, je redescend donc à la réception et la demoiselle se rend compte qu'elle n'avait pas activé […] le badge pour ma chambre, se contente donc de le faire et me rend le badge sans même s'excuser ! Quel sérieux et quel professionnalisme! Autre chose: le parking est certes fermé et gratuit mais il est très petit et en général monopolisé par des autocars allemand ou polonais ou autre... Chambre très agréable, lit confortable, accueil de qualité. Nous avons eu cet hôtel pour un prix très minime, ce fut un séjour très agréable. La seule chose que nous ayons regretté c'est le lieux où est situé l’hôtel, dur à trouver, et avec les bouchons ont a mis plus d'1h30 à arriver de Paris dans le 75 .

Hotel typique pour la chaîne Campanile. Moyennement bien situé (une dizaine de minutes de marche de la station RER la plus proche) pour touristes, pas grands commerces dans les environs immédiats, mais restaurant sur place. Personnel très, très avenant de jour, comme de nuit.

Nous avons passé une nuit lors d'une étape à Paris. Le prix est très abordable. L'étage était clame; heureusement car les mûrs ne semblent pas épais. La litterie est de qualité correcte. Plutôt bien situé, desservi par le bus 159, cet hôtel m'a surprise par sa propreté impeccable. La chambre que nous avons eu était confortable et plutôt charmante. Les employés sont tout à fait aimables. Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de tester le restaurant. Je recommande vivement !

Pour venir travailler à la défense, c'est super, il y a un petit parc a traverser, avec un 15 minutesd de marche pour être sous les tours de la défense.
