      The hotel was fine. We needed to stay in Binghamton. It was inexpensive & the staff was friendly & helpful. Not fancy, yet adequate for our needs. There was always someone at the front desk to answer questions.

    Everything was good except the floor and ceilings must be built thin, you can hear every step about you. I literally had to wear earplugs not because the people were loud above me, it's the nature of how the buildings built. Recommend if you stay here, take the top floor. Otherwise no other complaints.

    My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The room was large, clean, and quiet. A padded, wooden tray was included so I could work on my computer while lying in bed - a nice touch! We really enjoyed the cookies 'n coffee (also hot chocolate, tea, etc.) bar in the lobby in the evening, after our swim in the pool - another nice touch. The breakfast […] was very good as well. The only thing I would like to have seen was a hot tub in the pool area. We usually like to unwind under the jetting water after a long day's drive.     This was an excellent hotel with a small but nice pool. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. Also enjoyed the wonderful breakfast ...there was something there for everyone. The staff were very friendly and informative. Will definately stay again when we visit the Tioga Downs Casino.

    Usual good b-fasts & clean w/ typical decor & spacious lobby/eating area of Hamptons but it's the basic model otherwise--like buying a car--the basic model...no bells, whistles, etc. And I think the price is high for the base model.     I always have a great experience at the Hampton Inn. This one was great as well. Was visiting my son at Binghamton University for family weekend as the hotels near the school booked up pretty quickly. This wasn't a bad distance away, approximately 20 minutes. My only complaint is that there isn't a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms, only the suites […] so I wasn't able to keep my leftovers from eating out. Other than that a great place to stay. I was very impressed by the free breakfast--which offered more choices than many hotels I have been at--including other Hampton and Hilton Inns.     Our only complaint was with the room key cards - it was frustrating to have to try three and four times to get a card-access door to open. The facility and people are great.

    The pool was not available, which was the major reason I booked the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

    This Hampton Inn was very nice. Staff were very polite and helpful. Great amenities (Pool was nice). Hot breakfast was well presented and good. Hotel is on a river so the view was very nice.
