"Lavender Inn delivers personality & comfort"
This was our second visit to Lavender. Beautiful property only a minutes walk to the many wonderful restaurants of Yountville. Rooms are well appointed and spacious and include a jacuzzi, all in all a great value for the price. Two key differentiators- very friendly but professional hosts took us on a mini tour of the property and our room. Second, […] the prepared breakfast was fantastic with many choices to get your day started off. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Amazing stay at a great bnb. Arrived late but the wine was still out. Marion welcomed us so warmly and we even got upgraded to the loft which was amazing. Would go back and recommend to all visiting Yountville/Napa.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A short walk from several good restaurants"
We were very comfortable in our lovely loft room with a king bed, separate sitting room and quiet location. The hotel is very close to the French Laundry, Bouchon, Ad Hoc and several other good restaurants, with art galleries, shops and boutiques in the same area. Whilst Yountville is a very small town, it has a lot to offer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel, the staff were helpful. And it's an ideal location, as you can easily walk to all the restaurants and wine shops. Would also recommend staying here in Yountville due to its central location in the valley and ease of getting around, instead of NapaGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dinner at the French Laundry"
Great spot for walking distance to the French Laundry. Drove up to Yountville as part of my birthday celebration and dinner at the French Laundry. Cannot be the convenience as you are literally around the corner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The customer service at this Inn is better than you will find at most hotels. Very attentive and willing to help you with just about everything. From help with picking restaurants and vineyards to the fresh home made breakfast each day along with wine tasting in the evenings. This place has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had […] at a property this size. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"So cozy and pleasant."
My husband and I had a great time. Used the inn's bikes to go for a spin through the vineyards. Had a private little patio with fountain and hummingbirds. It was lovely-wish we could have stayed more than two nights.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent bed and breakfast"
Our room was large but dated - especially the bed linens, mattress and bathroom. Our fireplace was not functional and was not able to be repaired during our stay. We should have changed rooms when it was offered to us, but a comparable room was not available and we had already unpacked. They comped us with a bottle of champagne on our last night but […] honestly after a full day of wine tasting we really didn't need or want a bottle of champagne so we ended up leaving it there unopened. The breakfast was pretty good and the afternoon snacks very nice. Everyone was pleasant but as a whole it didn't wow us, but it's definitely less expensive than a lot of the hotels in the area. "Exceptional B&B -- Try it!"
Every B&B should try a stay at Lavender. They have it down perfectly. Excellence in every area: staff, rooms/patios, comfort, space, and especially the breakfasts.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Yountville Wine country inn"
Great location!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We went up for a special event of trying to obtain a reservation at the French Laundry! Staying at The Lavender could not have been a more exciting exprience! It was wonderful and Marion at the front desk could not have been more gracious, funny, knowledgeable about the area and just plain nice! Our room was excptional. We had a king room with a hot […] tub on the patio which was very relaxing. The whole house is very comfortable and the grounds are immaculate. The breakfast was wonderful and in the afternoon the wine and hors'derves were amazing. The other people staying there were very interesting and friendly. This bed and breakfast is only about a three minute walk around the corner to the French Laundry and very short walking distances to other restaurants and town. I would find it hard to find someone that was not 100% pleased with their stay. We wil defnitely return! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely hotel but rooms varied in quality"
We came to Lavender Inn as a group so had a few rooms. We were advised that as one of the rooms would be taken by two adults, my sister and my aunt, there was only one suitable. My poor sister was put on a sofa bed that did not accommodate an adult. When she complained the next day the gentleman checking her out laughed and said she was quite right […] that bed is only for children and should not be given to adults. For 250 a night and a twin room request I expect a little more courtesy. The other rooms were nice but we preferred Maison Fleurie up the road. Breakfast was excellent but not child friendly (we had young children). Maison Fleurie did a lovely job of balancing our needs and making us feel welcome whilst balancing needs (peace and quiet!) for other guests. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Marion was so helpful in explaining the area, wineries, and making us feel welcome.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Liked the privacy of the rooms. The one we stayed had a separate fenced patio. Wished we stayed longer to enjoy it more. The room and bathroom were large and roomy. The breakfast was average. The Inn is very close to French Laundry if you decide to dine there. You can walk to it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Lovely Inn"
Our room was like a cozy little cabin. We just loved it. The staff was great (we especially loved Marion!) and, of course, location, location - an easy walk to everything. Can't wait to go backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great staff, great room, great location!"
Less than 5 min walking distance to numerous great restaurants, but make reservations. Hotel staff was friendly and will help w restaurant choices and reservations. "Very NIce, but..."
Beautiful place. Nice room. Unfortunately for us, there was a construction project going on next door. Started early and lasted all day. I know this is an unusual situation, but definately annoying.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quaint setting situated in the heart of Napa"
We loved our stay at the Lavender Inn. Our room was exceptionally appointed with comfortable furnishings, private outdoor jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace (which we needed) and outstanding location in the heart of Yountville, one block from Bouchon and the French Laundry restaurants. The roses in the garden were in full bloom--a real treat for the eye and […] nose. The Victorian charm was oozing as we enjoyed the wicker chairs on the front porch while sipping on complimentary wine and devouring a wide array of appetizers. The next morning Rose Marie made us feel right at home during our delicious hot breakfast of a delicate homemade strata, fresh muffins and fruit. The service this hotel provides extended well after our stay when we received a phone call about a left behind golf shirt. They have packed it up to ship to our home without hesitation, complete with a chipper "Have a great trip!" Excellent service, excellent inn. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sweet hotel very near French Laundry"
Seldom have I been so charmed by the service as at this small hotel in the charming town of Yountville. I chose it to be near the French Laundry and that it is - mere yards! Parking is on site, there are simple amenities, a decent breakfast and books, umbrellas, fires all to hand. My room had both a vintage bath and an outside hot tub. I'd definitely […] stay there again if I managed to get another French Laundry booking! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"More than 5 stars!"
04/23/15 James G Fenton, Michigan
This inn is incomparable! We had a chance to stay in The Loft (Room 10) for two nights. What a fabulous spot for a memorable stay in Napa. The Loft is a real suite of rooms: a spacious bedroom with king bed, an amazing bathroom complete with fabulous jacuzzi, a wash area, a powder area/desk, and a good sized living room. Decor is well-appointed and beautiful -- much more than we expected! (It is accessible by stairs only.) The Lavender is off the less beaten path in Yountville, yet in the center of the town's wine tasting and restaurant activity. Many places are within walking distance. A perfect location for us. They provided some nice winery tasting deals at local spots. Roses are in bloom right now in the area and amazingly beautiful around the Lavender. Breakfast is also fantastic. A delicious spread of breakfast treats is available buffet style. To top it off, they host a wine and cheese tasting in many afternoons. Service with a smile is their specialty. Their staff is so large and so helpful, you would swear they are staffed for a hotel two or three times the size of this one (just 10 rooms). We picked this place sight unseen because of the positive Trip Advisor reviews and we were thrilled that all those good reviews are true. We will be back!!
"Great place to stay"
04/16/15 Peg212013 Orland Park, Illinois
I spent only only one night here but wish I could have stayed longer. The location was in the center of town and the wine in the evening added that personal touch to the stay. The staff was very helpful even prior to our stay, with answering many questions and supplying us with much needed information. The room was lovely and I would definitely stay again if I had the chance. If there were to be one down side it would be the breakfast . It was lacking in variety.
"Our first stay here, but not our last"

Great location. A quick walk to the restaurants and shops. Staff is great. Location in Yountville is a great base for Napa Valley stops. Four Sisters Inns are always nice and we look forward to our next visit.
"1st Anniversary Stay was great!"
03/22/15 David A San Francisco, California
We have stayed here previously and were happy to book a return weekend for our 1st Anniversary celebration. We were in cottage 5, which was nice. There is a hot tub outside, which we did not use. The bed was comfortable, nice shower temperature and pressure. Breakfast is one of the nice benefits of this property. They have a cookbook and prepare daily selections from it, which we enjoyed! Location is amazing! Walking distance to Bouchon, French Laundry, Bottega, basically all of Yountville!
"Great location and cozy atmosphere."

Very welcoming"bungalow" style rooms with your own fireplace. Five star breakfasts every morning. 5PM wine meet and greet. A most helpful staff. Well located, close to dining. I well go back again-soon!

A great little getaway spot. This smallish inn is comfortable, charming, cozy. It's well located. Breakfast is great, better than any other hotel breakfast I've had recently. It combines the positive aspects of a B&B and a small hotel.
02/11/15 marci b Redwood City, California
I will start with the positive. The Inn is in an ideal location of Yountville. right across from the park. It is in the middle of the cute little town next to the best restaurants in the country. It was also priced well. We were able to stay 1 night on a Saturday which is a challenge in Napa. It is usually a two night minimum on weekends. The staff was polite. Negative: Located in the BATHROOM was a coffee maker, coffee cups, wine glasses and a champagne bucket. To me, totally disgusting to have anything that you put in your mouth next to the toilet. It is such an easy fix. Just move it into the bedroom. There was room!! The bathroom and the bedroom decor does not match at all. The bedroom has a country french feel. In blue and yellow. The bathroom had concrete floors painted bright red with white and black ceramic tile. It was weird. For last minute travel it was fine. But bring your own wine glasses and go somewhere else for coffee. ( actually they serve coffee in the main house.)
"Walking Distance for Everything"
02/10/15 struck Oklahoma
This is a great place. My room came with a private patio area and a gas fireplace, great for the cool January evenings. It was very quiet (except for early Monday morning when the trash truck rolls by). One of the best breakfasts I have ever had at a hotel or B&B. Eat heartily because you will need it for a full day of drinking wine in Napa! But the greatest thing about this hotel is its location. You are within walking distance from almost everything in central Yountville (including being perhaps the closest hotel to The French Laundry). I will stay here on any future trip to Napa.
"Winter B&B overnighter"
02/09/15 DaveyJ5150 Fairfield, California
we've stayed at Four Sister properties in the past and enjoyed them. Lavender was exactly what we wanted. The room was a tad small but we were out on the town most of this short trip. The vaulted ceiling made up for the small square footage. We had a private patio with hot tub and seating...very cozy. The bathroom was huge and amply supplied. Lots of nice touches. Other reviewers mention location in town, and they are right....perfect walking access to either end of the activity hubs of Yountville. The breakfast was great, buffet style with plenty of choices. We could only stay one night this time, and Lavender is a rare B&B that allows a single night stay on weekends.
"Great location in Napa Valley"
01/30/15 TCooper4653 Frisco, Texas
The Lavender puts you in a great location in Yountville; walking distance to the French Laundry, Bistro Jeanty, Ad Hoc, Bouchon, and other great restaurants. It's a great starting point to visit St Helena, Calistoga, and Napa. The room was fantastic, convenient parking, and a fabulous breakfast every morning. A little more than some of the other B&B's in the area, but well worth it.
